It is fitting, tbh. But that's why I'm only suggesting a wave emote. Better at saying hello than teabagging and less toxic to wave at the killer vs teabagging/pointing.
-
I'd be fine without any of those so long as there was a mechanic in the game to keep a killer from tunneling off hook.
-
Idk why people think playing the game as optimally as possible is considered sweating. So the killer won. Who cares? It's one match out of many and there are survivor perks to counter pretty much everything. I'm saying this as a survivor main, btw.
-
I don't play tf2. What happened?
-
That would be really neat. Idk how many emotes the game really needs though. Which ones would you suggest?
-
Zarina scribbling in her notebook. Feng playing a handheld console. Claudette going invisible. Lol
-
I agree, but I also know a lot of killer mains are going to be very upset
-
I like your mindset, OP. Side note: No Mither is great outside of memeing and I'll defend it to the death.
-
I do for the extra hits, but I understand why others don't. If I'm playing survivor and the killer doesn't follow us all to the gate, I just leave. I don't feel the need to be toxic.
-
I'd actually be down for Springtrap as a killer, ngl.
-
I get left on the hook a lot when I play solo. These days if I see someone near me not doing anything and they have the chance to grab me and won't, then I try to unhook myself and just struggle.
-
I mean... No one is forcing you to use those two perks together when you play killer.
-
Only if they make Spirit deaf.
-
It's not terrible, you just have to be really good at looping. I personally can't get it to work but I'm also not a looper. Lol
-
I agree that a counter would be nice. Or at least a counter added to small game.
-
Okay, cool! Fingers crossed!
-
Oh! That'll be really nice.
-
I mean, the people who use vpn to play on servers that are not anywhere close to their own for the intent of ping abuse.
-
It's annoying, but it's not the end of the world. At that point you're just wasting more time for less benefit to wait on a lobby, DC from the game, wait on the penalty, then wait for another lobby.
-
Then die on first hook and get it over with. It's a lot faster than waiting on the penalty timer. XD
-
The only time I think it's fair to DC is if you have an IRL issue, not that there is any way for anyone to really know that. Other than that there is no real advantage to anyone DCing for any reason. I'm speaking of intentional disconnecting, of course. Not disconnecting because your internet took a dump.
-
I was thinking largely of the killer using a VPN, but you make a good point about SWF. But if the ping differential is too much the person with high ping is going to struggle anyway. I have a friend from Russia who tried to play with us. His game was lagged to the point that he wasn't able to play anyhow. Just teleported…

Nea ended up being my main, and Feng my backup for when I was P3-ing Nea. But Zarina is gonna end up being my new main once I get all the perks on her. All of her cosmetics so far are so on point and I love it~ That being said, I've kinda ended up leave certain builds on certain characters just so I can swap between the…
-
What about a ping lock? Like, if your ping to the server is over 150-200, then you won't be able to queue unless: 1.) You are connected to your own server. 2.) You troubleshoot why your ping is so high. I highly doubt that everyone from overseas is doing it intentionally. I've loaded into lobbies with 800+ ping before and…

Is tier 2 really that bad though? I don't find it changes the gameplay all that much. At least nothing that's completely unmanageable.
-
I completely agree! I see people at red ranks DC like crazy. Best you can really do at the moment is take it for what it is and report anyone who does it intentionally.
-
Flashlights and keys are actually very powerful. Both can change the tide of a game greatly. There is no need to make them stronger than they already are. Flashlights are very hard to use though. If you like, I can link you to some tutorial videos on how to make the best use of them.
-
I always dread playing against the Hag. It's hard to see her traps and I hate that your camera turns automatically if you hit one. I hate Leatherface too. Only because he seems most used when a toxic player decides to insidious face camp a player on the hook.
-
You can break out of tier 2 now, but you have to hit tier 3 first and 'snap out of it.'
-
Honestly, if the player wants to DC and get the penalty on top of losing his bp and pips just so their friend can get hatch, who cares? They're losing more to the game then you are. Plus if you would have just hooked that survivor before going for the 4th one, then you would have gotten your hook points. I'm not condoning…
-
I think it would be neat to be able to sell items and addons for bp. You can't do it if you don't prestige, but every prestige level gives you more bp back for the things you sell.
-
Lol, also a fair point.
-
Fair enough. I really wish it did though.
-
Currently rank means very little. I end up hitting red ranks pretty easily with stealth builds, but I can't loop very well. Hopefully the MMR system they're trying out will balance us all out a bit.
-
It's more about risk vs reward. If you think you can get the save, you should. Largely because saving someone is worth quite a few points. But if you can't then yeah, just leave.
-
Lol, you can always tell who is a killer main and who is a survivor main.
-
I mean...how often do you actually run into a team of swf that just go around Sabo-ing hooks? I've been playing the game for a few years and have only come across it 3 times. And more often than not, there is another hook in range. Sabo-ing hooks is an underused mechanic to begin with, and now it can only be done with good…
-
I just like to run different builds. Although when it starts feeling like I'm going against the same killer over and over again and they're being jerks, I will swap over to a meta build.
-
You're so diligent! Thanks for getting back to us with your insights!
-
^ This. I honestly think it needs to be harder to hit red ranks as survivor. I'm red rank and quite frankly I'm terrible. Boosted AF, as the kids would say. Red ranks is just too easy to hit. I've seen a lot of red rank killers that never used Ruin and they still wiped the floor with us in a 4 stack swf.
-
I haven't tried it yet, but the changes to Doc definitely sounded good! I think it's silly that people freaked out and called it a nerf when they heard the devs were changing him. He seems a lot better now.
-
I'd be happy with blood web discounts, honestly. Even if it's just 500 bp. The game is a grind as is, so Peanits' argument doesn't really apply. Even casual players put a ton of time into it. It would also be nice if we could sell back items we aren't going to use for bp.
-
Not that I'm a great killer or anything, but I find ruin useless to begin with honestly. 9/10 times a survivor spawns next to it and it gets destroyed within the first few minutes of the game and becomes a wasted perk slot. So I had already stopped using it altogether. I play red rank survivor and ruin still gets destroyed…
-
Inner strength and fixated are the perks I see most often, and occasionally better together. I never see Steve's perks used anymore though. I see Steve and Nancy used just about as often as I see Jane and Ace used, which is quite a bit but not as often as say... Claudette or Nea. Hawkins Lab comes up for me as often as…
-
I think it's because survivors and the killer can message each other at any time through the console's chat. Whereas PC only has end game chat.
-
Will there be other gen slow down perks in the future?
-
I never even notice it on Cold Wind, tbh.
-
If it's blowing your eardrums out, then lower the in game volume. DBD is loud AF by default. My game is set at 30% and I still hear everything just fine. I've seen people spam vault something to get the killers attention at high level play. They do this to try and distract the killer long enough for whoever they're chasing…
-
I agree. There are a lot of perks that are fun to use (boil over, for example), but you need to set up your build around it. If every perk was universal, killers would stop playing killer. Use Boil Over, Unbreakable (or no mither), Flip Flop, and Tenacity. Break hooks in a corner and whenever killer comes for you, stay in…
-
It's honestly whatever. I stopped using Ruin a long time ago because people were spawning next to my totem more often than not. Still getting 3k-4k.
