monitor and abuse is an underrated perk, killers with a terror radius of 24m or less get a lot of value out of it as it lets them get close to survivors and start chase with less time for them to respond. Players don’t usually realize you’re close until you’re in LoS.
-
We need this for Charlotte and Victor lol
-
It depends on certain factors. If I’m bringing a brand new part add-on I’ll try to install it and work on a gen in the middle of the map to try and prevent a 3 gen asap. If it’s just a toolbox with speed/charge add-ons I’ll usually save it for mid game to help with gen pressure.
-
Indoor maps are more fun to play on overall. They typically have strong loops for survivors and benefit a lot of under used and/or less powerful killers like Trapper, Hag, Twins. Strong killers like Billy and Blight have a harder time traversing the map which is nice.
-
You probably wouldn’t have liked the bp grind +4 years ago if you think this is bad.😅
-
Kinda disappointed that none of my favorite killers like Hag or Twins will be playable yet but I can understand why. Having a bunch of survivors wiping away hag traps and having one survivor hold victor limits their powers when there’s 8 survivors. They’re likely just thinking of ways to balance them out.
-
Kinda disappointed hag is gonna have to wait a little longer before she’s playable in 2v8 but I guess it’s understandable when her power isn’t as straight forward as some of the others. 😕 Wonder if we’ll see any licensed killers added eventually, Pig and Myers would seem tame for 2v8.
-
As someone who’s most played killer is hag, I feel like she’s in a well-balanced state currently. I’d rather they not keep buffing her until the community witch hunts her until she ends up like Skull Merchant. If anything should be changed it should be a few of her add-ons like the Ear and Phantasm Trap trigger range…
-
It’s typically a map thing and not a gate issue itself. Maps like Red Forest you can’t really monitor as killer because of how spread apart they are, where as like Midwitch it’s pretty hard for a survivor to get them open.
-
Been asking for this on xbox too for quite some time. Would like to have those days where I can play killer in peace when I don’t feel like SWFing
-
I think blindness should make it to where you can’t differentiate between a hex and dull totem, just make hex totems look like dull totem. In addition to what it currently does.
-
Agreed, there’s no reason to strip being able to mori multiple survivors with a ebony mori when they’re already dead hook.
-
10 more seconds to have your teammates work on gens is all I see coming from this. Might be nice for solo queue survivors but it’s a major buff to SWFs doing gens.
-
I feel like both Myers & Freddy are overdue for buffs. Freddy’s add-on have been nerfed into being some of the worst in the game. Myers base kit power take too long to build up before it can have any impact.
-
wish granted
-
Rotten Fields. Too much corn and open space, you practically can’t run 70% of the tiles on this map, just the outer edges. Also hate playing this map as killer too.
-
pretty sure it already does, if you own both xbox one and series X or S, it's the same acct. If you're like me and mostly play on series x but also own the game on PC, Playstation, and Switch those different accts can now be linked
-
the counterplay now is that most killers are currently run No Where to Hide and Friends Til The End which make the perk irrelevant, survivors would need to dedicate an 2nd perk slot for distortion if it were to have any impactful effect.
-
can you honestly say it would be a problem though if they reverted one of the two nerfs? Killer tracking has gotten better over the years with the introduction of a lot of powerful aura reading perks. Buffing iron will alongside some other survivor stealth perks doesn’t sound like a bad idea, the survivor perk meta has…
-
yes 100%, it needs to work while exhausted again. it can stay at 75%. Just let me use it alongside sprint burst again. 😭🥺
-
for the most part I’d say this is accurate, Coldwind is niche as a lot of killer struggle on it where as more mobile killers are strong on it(I hate it when playing either side lol) Ever since the alien map released I’ve probably only seen the survivors escape via exit like twice so idk if I’d call that one balanced.
-
Priorizing gens over anything else, ig 2 ppl on hook? Imma stick to the gen. Killer slugging? Imma stick to the gen. Full stack on Devour Hope? Imma stick to the gen. The crazy thing is that this works out in a lot of situations.
-
crawling to the corner increases the odds of wiggling free from the killer's grasp as they're less likely to make it to a hook. However usually killer's will let you bleed out rather than attempt to carry you to a hook in this situation.
-
The Wraith Especially with the right add-ons it’s super easy to get the drop on someone.
-
Still one of the strongest killers in the game, just doesn’t have a free exploit to cheat around loops anymore.
-
Trapper Wraith Hillbilly Nurse Hag Doctor Huntress are all free on Xbox & PlayStation, I believe Switch has even more free non-licensed chapters too.
-
Every platform except steam got 7 killers for free though, also wasn’t Nurse paid dlc on steam as well? Why is she the exception?🤔
-
Kinda surprised Hag & Ace weren’t included seeing as they were both year 1 killers/survivors. Hoping Hag gets added next time. 🙏 Would love to combo with other killers playing her.
-
out of curiosity would you be able to tell us how many other killers have a higher winrate than Twins currently?
-
these changes confuse me does it mean you can’t stealth around and scamper anymore?
-
120 to 60 is a massive buff, especially when taking into consideration that teammates can speed up the process with you, might need further tweaks but we’ll see
-
the hindered nerf might be a but much as it’s pretty easy to cleanse and avoid this but overall not unreasonable changes. The killer changes this patch seems pretty fair.
-
While I agree it’s important to prioritize problematic perks, it’s just gotten the point where over the years fewer and fewer perk are effective at higher levels of play. I just think they should focus a little more of perk balancing as the game has felt stale.
-
I just wish there was a ratio where they buffed as many perks as they nerfed to keep the game fresh, Buff hex totems if gen slowdown perks gets hit, buff some underused exhaustion perks is one gets hit. Background Player being less impactful means more ppl are just going to equip Lithe & Sprint Burst again. I love making…
-
this change was a nerf, I’m assuming it’s a precaution to Sabo being buffed but I don’t think this was the right decision, this just makes another situational exhaustion perk less impactful imo. Kinda forces players to stick to Sprint Burst & Lithe 🫤
-
my only gripe is when you pick up a survivor completely facing a wall and still somehow getting blinded when nothing but the wall is in your LoS. Other than that blinds are fine
-
rejoice then cause a hotfix patch just came out a couple hours ago.
-
survivors who run Dead Hard have always done the same thing as well. The best counter play for aggressive DS has always been slugging and waiting out the timer or slugging and going after someone else. I’m typically against slugging but you kind of encourage it when you’re bodyblocking with ds or what not.
-
the amount of evil within(stalk) required going from tier 1 to tier 2 should definitely be reduced, tier 2 to tier 3 as well but not as much as the first one. The amount of setup required is very time consuming. Some of his add ons like the stalk movement speed and aura reading ones should also be reworked imo.
-
I wouldn’t mind that if it wasn’t for the fact that you can’t run certain exhaustion perks with it. At least by removing the effect of the perk turning off when exhausted it’s less situational
-
the live patch was the smart move, the rework wasn’t necessary, just needed the long cooldowns reduced to feel more fluid and less clunky. Their kit still kind of encourages slugging but it’s not nearly as bad as it would’ve been with the rework.
-
zombies are still pretty buggy, but when they’re not it’s easily noticeable 😅 Certain maps they get stuck more than others
-
I’d probably put Deathslinger & Clown in B tier and move Hag up to A tier, pretty accurate
-
I prefer indoor maps on both sides as they typically have stronger loops and stealth/trap killers do better on them
-
I can’t take players seriously who rage quit when playing either side. Survivors who ragequit the 1st 60 seconds into a match are a special breed
-
I would like Iron Will to work all the time instead whenever you’re not exhausted. That change was overkill, can’t use it along side Sprint Burst anymore 😕
-
horay to no more hug teching!
-
It says March-April so it could still happen 🤷♂️
-
He needs an add-on that adds an additional zombie in the trial for the memes.
