My name here is actually based on my Surname and used a lot more frequently in games nowadays (Stevo / StevoTheTroll / StevoTheTrolll <twitch name was taken, used 3 L’s instead>, I was dubbed the troll by a lot of friends in my teens and it just sorta stuck), though I can’t quite remember why 9 year old me thought my PSN…

Yeah, I’ve just moved back to PC and started streaming it instead of PS4... lasted three streams before someone said the n-word in chat. Survivors were being toxic post game chat with the usual “ggez trash killer” sort of thing (vs Legion, 4 escapes I think) but ended up driving the killer to the point where they said some…

I don’t think I’ve broke Tier 10 on either PC or PS4 yet, not out of Tome I either, though I think I need to do one challenge on PC to get to Tome II maybe? Not really sure how it works tbh but I’m aiming to get to 30 vials on PC so I can start using my Huntress as I did on PS4 :)
-
This seems pretty typical tbh. As many have pointed out, bodyblocking by itself isn’t bannable. The best thing you can do is ignore it and move on. Same goes for trash talking post game. Just don’t be like one particular killer I had on Saturday who is probably going to get banned for fighting back against trash talk a…

That’s what it used to do. It gave the last survivor a +75% repair speed at tier 3 per generator that needed completed. It wasn’t terrible before the EGC as if the hatch hadn’t spawned until two gens got done, that boost could have gotten you an escape in a hard to win scenario, though post EGC it was basically useless…

From personal experience, I pretty much don’t care and just play. I myself stream this game sometimes, but since I stream on PS4 people probably won’t know I’m a streamer unless they go out of their way to check profiles or have already tuned into my stream because not only do I not have TTV in my name, but my PSN doesn’t…

I’m aware that it was an unintended side effect of the victory cube being replaced with the emblem system, hell, before Nea / The Nurse came out, the requirement was to unlock any tier of the perks 6 times, which was laughable honestly since there basically wasn’t any challenge, just play the character you were most…
-
The biggest problem is that survivors’ adepts are consistent - you just have to escape, no matter what rank you are. Killer however is a different story. Not only do you have to use a setup of perks you may not be well acquainted with, let alone that they probably don’t slow the game down at all, but the difficulty scales…

I would probably return to the PC version of the game when I have the chance to, though the thought of being so far behind really puts me off going back to it. I haven’t played PC since January of 2018, meaning I’ve missed everything from the SAW Chapter onwards there. I’ve got a lot more characters with a lot more perks…
-
Simply because I have to employ a different style of play to “the norm” of looping until the killer gets bored and gives up or you run out of pallets. I don’t enjoy playing against spirit but they do at least make for a different experience to the other 15 killers.

I have had similar things happen to me in the past, worst one in particular the window in Suffocation Pit’s main building window where the chest usually is. A Claudette (of course it was) blocked the window until the hillbilly sawed me to the ground... and put me in the basement. She even teabagged at the window, I don’t…

Given I play for points on a regular basis, unless the unhook will be easy to make and I can guarantee that I can make it back to the door / hatch, I’m not likely to risk 5000 or 7000 BP for the chance of getting an extra 1500. I have actually been told off by others for doing this, but it’s not my fault they got caught.
-
I’ve said it before elsewhere and I’ll say it again here: This is, in my opinion, the worst event they’ve done to date. Don’t get me wrong, last year’s event wasn’t great by any means either. The fact that survivors were competing with each other for serum kinda ruined most games as there were very few, if any, generators…

While I usually play solo and do use prove thyself in a lot of my builds for easy objective points, I have actually found myself using Better Together a lot with it. Instead of me having to find people to work on gens with, they can see where I am instead. I also see where people are in relation to someone who has just…
-
I’m really disappointed by the event, if you can even call it that. I agree that while the plants from last year were a really cool concept, but terrible in practice due to survivors effectively competing with each other never mind the killer, at least it felt like an event. This year it just feels lazily thrown out with…

I know of this bug, though I haven’t had it happen to me recently since I don’t see killers DC’ing as often as I do survivors, though this bug has been around a LOT longer than a few weeks. It’s been here for around two years at this point. I’ve reported it on several occasions and it even got fixed temporarily but broke…
-
I think the main problem is that once you know Overcharge is in play, you pretty much know you’re going to get a skillcheck upon touching a regressing gen. Really isn’t that hard to hit unless Unnerving is also in play... though why run two, possibly three if you count distressing too, sure, infinite uses, though Ruin and…
-
Particularly 7 And 8 I have the most fun in, the killer’s are competent, as are survivors, but neither side take themselves too seriously. Also, RIP Yellow ranks (13-16) :(
-
Claudette with Kate being a very close second. Both very annoying, 9/10 times are toxic players both in game and post game, though Claudette wins because pretty much anyone that plays as her exclusively uses darker outfits, not saying it’s always the case, but most of the time.
-
Rank is quite possibly one of the most meaningless things in the game currently. It’s a sign which basically says “Congratulations! You have played the game enough to reach here. Your reward is less enjoyable and less frequent games!”... currently Rank 4 survivor and the queue times were painful when I last played. I…

Not counting all the instances where I’ve been reported for a perk, looping, teabagging, genrushing, farming (as killer), camping or tunneling, best ones for me are as follows: Killer: finding someone who had been hiding in a locker who also had two crows. I heard them after hooking someone less than 10 meters away.…
-
You can be reported for literally anything in this game, though you can only be banned for the breaking rules set by the devs and nobody else. I’ve been reported because I found someone hiding in a locker who had crows. I’ve also been reported for using OoO once in the past. Some reasons people report you for are hilarious…
-
I’ve had this happen to me once in the time I’ve played DBD... it sucks when it happens, but like you say, it’s better for you to laugh it off than to get annoyed over it yourself. It was a Wraith who got no kills, I had No Mither, Self Care, OoO and old Left Behind, solo survivor at the time. I think I teabagged to get…
-
Yeah, Like I’d said initially, it’s not a significant problem to begin with. Couple of people have already mentioned how they would fix it, it’s just how much attention the Devs pay to this sort of issue. They have much higher priority issues that need tended to than this one, though I completely agree that the consistency…

No, the hook timer is still 1 minute for each phase, there’s just no 5-second scream pausing the timer as the survivor gets hooked. Like I say, it’s not a significant problem, Survivors just have to save a little quicker. Basically the hook timer is 60 seconds on summoning, 60 seconds on struggling. Depending on if you’re…
-
The difference is actually fairly noticeable. You lose the entirety of the scream audio and animation from your survivor getting hooked, which also acts as a buffer before the timer starts. It’s only about 10 seconds loss overall on hook time, but it’s very easy to tell the difference on second hook in particular as you…

Usually I don’t bring items, If you catch me with an item, it’s probably from a chest (I like using Plunderer’s, Ace in the Hole and Streetwise) or I’ve forgotten to take it off, though in the chance I do go out of my way to use one it’s either a Medkit or Toolbox. Since I’m a gen jockey, toolboxes are my go to most of the…

Been there, done that plenty of times before. Still sucks really bad when it happens. Hurts more if NOED isn’t even being used. If I were to give my take from the killer side of things I’d definitely say seeing any hex totem spawn literally opposite or beside a generator. Bonus points if it was where the survivors…
-
Most people I know thought that Exposed meant their aura was being shown to the killer, hence their current location was exposed to the killer. For experienced players it won’t make an ounce of difference, though from my experience into does seem to be misleading for lesser informed or newer players.
-
No, I didn’t say it’s unnecessary, if I did, that’s an autocorrect that I mustn't have spotted, because the DS rework was very necessary. I’ll edit it if it was wrong. Using mobile and predictive text is not fun, specifically when using this site. Edit: Comment was correct initially, you might have just misread or…

I prestiged characters when I played on the PC version, and I also P3’d Ace (main) and Claudette (for the memes) after switching tin PS4, but I haven’t played prestiged any other character, despite the fact I do play more than just those two (don’t even use Claudette that often which is the sad part). I just don’t have the…

Devotion 3 Lv71... I played a lot more before devotion was a thing, since then I’ve had less time to play due to other commitments so... 🤷♂️
-
Usually a gen jockey, only go for saves when I feel like nobody else is going to. I also fall under the find a key and survival of the fittest category when I’m using my items build, mostly as a side effect of the build itself giving more keys than it probably should.

I made a full list in a comment above here in all other ways to deal with being injured. Adrenaline is regarded as one of the meta perks currently, since it heals you one health state for your team doing your primary objective in the event you are injured or dying, as well as giving you the 5 second speed boost. I…
-
I’m gonna add another “No” here. Just to clear something up, I’m a survivor main. Currently Rank 3 Survivor and Rank 6 Killer (<- Queue times are trash on PS4 at Rank 3 Survivor). NOED rewards Killers who aren’t confident about their ability and can also act as a really good late game option paired with the likes of Blood…
-
I wish I could select two here to be honest. Slugging and Tunneling are both lame and boring for the survivor targeted, but all of the things listed are still valid tactics, all of which can be punished. Camping = do gens Tunneling = use DS to either get off shoulder or stall for a minute Slugging = use No Mither and / or…
-
I would say Legion. Literally have not seen one of these since August (PS4). Don’t know whether it’s because Legion is bad or whether I have a very strange bout of luck? I’ve seen at least 10 clowns but not a single Legion. This is between ranks 12 and 3, across two “seasons” pretty much. I don’t play Legion either as…
-
I personally am of the opinion that it’s a lame strategy for the survivor getting tunneled, but it’s still perfectly valid. If the killer wants to make their life a bit easier then removing one survivor as early as possible is the best way of doing so. Sucks for the person targeted, sure, but it’s far from “Wrong”.
-
The nerf happened a while back, can’t remember exactly when, though healing was changed from 12 to 16 seconds, which translated to self care Speed is 24 to 32 seconds. There’s far more worthwhile ways to get healed, heck, a lot of people don’t heal at all just so they can rush gens and get Adrenaline to pop. It can still…
-
Used to main Leatherface and Wraith. Now main Huntress because of the outfit from last year’s Halloween event, though I still play other killers from time to time just because i like their powers.
-
I personally like this more. Survivors who don’t have Spine Chill and the equivalent will be easier to sneak up on or stalk. Frees up a perk space if you intend on using a scratched mirror since you’ll no longer have a terror radius in T1. In saying that my opinion probably shouldn’t count since I’m a PS4 survivor main,…
-
While I personally think NOED is balanced as it is, a totem count would be a good QoL change for solos, given SWF will have this information anyway. It’d be better than having to guess if your team were competent enough to look for totems or not just to get screwed over because they didn’t. Worst thing is when you as an…
-
I’ll play Stealthy when on my own, and loop the killer where necessary, though when in SWF, I would usually spend more time in chases to buy the rest more time on gens since they don’t have the ability to do the same but with the roles reversed usually. Then again I do play this game considerably more often than them, so…
-
I used to use it before the healing nerf, though nowadays I would occasionally randomise my perk loadout and would use self care if I got it then. I would also sometimes use it with No Mither for the memes, but I would never willingly choose this perk for a proper loadout. Too much of a waste of time. You can find someone…
-
While I personally find tunneling much more annoying than camping, both are perfectly valid tactics. The way people should really see camping is that’s they are giving their team time to do generators. If your teammates want to waste time on a camped survivor that’s on them. Camping is very punishable, but nobody seems to…
-
I had been playing yesterday... survivor queues (Rank 6) were a gift compared to normal, getting games within a minute or two of searching. Killer queues (Rank 11) however... complete opposite. Takes 10 minutes to get a lobby at best. Also 3 man lobbies make that worse again. I’m in the UK, if that information is useful at…
-
(The worst kind of person is one who DCs despite the game being nearly over or having just started. This goes for both sides. For killer thing thing that annoys me the most, on PS4 at least, is that if they DC a certain way, all remaining players in-game don’t get the BP accumulated from the match, making the match a waste…
-
I’ve been having somewhat slow times to find games on both sides (Purple Survivor, Green Killer, Play on PS4). Queues take around 5 minutes usually but there’s various factors that make it longer on the survivor side specifically.... which is why I’ve played more killer games over the last few days.
-
I’m personally indifferent to the changes being made to SWF. Someone was always going to take the fall either way since its very existence is a thing. The way I see it is that they’re making it less luck based for killers which I’m fine with to be honest. It is a shame though that my friends aren’t really taking it too…
