When I mentioned "end game perks", that was just to get the ball rolling. Not to say "end game perks" should all be bundled up together. You could just bundle all instant down perks together, and gate related perks separate.
-
Yeah a domino effect of changes would need to occur for this to happen, but I think this was always necessary to do.
-
map, event and bp offerings should be doable.
-
After a restart. It auto adjusted to correct itself.
-
Killers needing to snowball should not be a thing in the first place imo. If a killer character needs to snowball to "win" in general, then there's something wrong with that killer that warrants buffs or a rework to that killer character. You dont start a nerfing survivor campaign when the killer in question is probably…

I just dont understand why I kept getting aura reading when they were inquired. I thought it only activated after fully healed. I got both readings from being healthy and injured. Am I missing something?
-
I want to say its broken, if not being abused or disguised as an exploit hack for covering up a hidden object perk.
-
I will post it again.
-
Here's the thing, they were using mettle of man, not object.
-
If you can look at the video I posted, it would be appreciated. I dont think mettle of man works that way.
-
I was playing Trapper, I am not sure what to think of it.
-
Me trying to remember.
-
There was supposed to be four. Because four survivors.
-
Okay. Its just that a lot of other things happened too. That's why I asked. Like how did the dire crow hit me when I was to the side? But I guess that's just latency.
-
I get that, but was curious if it was a thing for players in limbo with regards to their mmr.
-
Ideally, a survivor in chase should not be affected by the hunt.
-
We can't know for sure how a new game mode will play out. But this game needs another game mode to not only make the game more enjoyable, but possibly highlight features worth investing into for the long run.
-
I couldn't tell you all the specifics. The survivor's goal would be to see how long they can last while having consistent interactions with the killer. The mmr for the game mode would be based on objectives and interactions. To avoid survivors for hiding for long periods, I would apply the afk crow feature to also ensure…

What is life without taking risks to better something. There's nothing to lose especially if its temporary to test the waters.
-
dbd has been increasing its player base, so a sudden shift of players from one game mode to another should not impact that much. Mind you we are only talking about adding one game mode as opposed to many. The reason why queue times are high in the first place, is because many players don't want to fill that role, plus mmr.…
-
It never hurts to try something new in my opinion. Even if its just temporary.
-
I'm sure there can be other game modes. But the one I am suggesting deals with a common issue in that survivors rush gens asap to escape. This however becomes problematic in that it introduces boring play styles that eventually encourage cheap tactics to achieve objectives as a killer or survivor.
-
Why would it be a bad idea? Mind you, it would be another game mode.
-
Thank you.
-
Dang it, Bobby.
-
I am not sure how such an implementation would work. There is probably a better way of doing it than Friday The 13th though.
-
If you can find it. I would love to add the link to the top of the post. If youre willing to look for it. It would be appreciated.

Force is a strong word. Mind you, people have map preferences, but dont always get the map they want. Yet, at most times, they deal with it and play the map they are given.
-
Given the changes to MMR, if accurate, it shouldnt be a problem, right?
-
True. However, I don't think asking for players to play few matches should really have a severe impact on motivation to keep playing.
-
I don't want to point fingers, but the impression is there.
-
I ask myself why some massive open word games perform well on console, but dbd struggles at times. I honestly believe its a range of issues with the code and validation.
-
Very informative. Thank you for the input.
-
I can confirm better connections over wire than wifi. lol
-
I'm not an expert in programming, but I have been taught that not doing code correctly or not efficiently results in longer load times. In other words, certain elements will take longer to process.
-
Devs stated fps drops were the result of zombies sending too much information. It makes you think what other game element and feature could be sending too much information.
-
Please be open minded to this conversation.
-
That's unfortunate to hear that only in the night it gets better. Thank you for the feedback.
-
What kind of connection do you have? Wifi or cable? Also, what time of hour of day you play on? I feel, for me at least, latency progressively gets worst at night.
-
Wraith can be very miserable going against in the 1v1 at loops. But that's only if the three variables exist (bad loops, strong killer perks/addons and bad teammates). Other killers have better and efficient special abilities, and so are not so depended on addons and perks. For instance, in long loops it can be devastating…
-
Yes. Holy cow whata rookie mistake.
-
So far, EU servers seem great from what I'm hearing.
-
Great Feedback.
-
Thanks for the feedback.

It's pretty clear many of you are too concerned with my ban specifically than the greater issue at hand. The thread was about finding better solutions for the current ban system, and not making the same arguments to defend what is not a perfect ban system. And sometimes those solutions might require changing gameplay…

In my opinion you have to approach DCing by 3 fold. Make more incentives as you said with bubba example to deter the "Well if I'm going to de-pip anyway. Might as well just DC" mindset. Find a better balance and better method that would make possible to end matches instantly after a DC at start of match. (Im sure you have…

You mentioned that you gain passive points with facecamping and slugs. Thats ideal. That's what I want. But you also mentioned this. "you should passively gain points based on what your team is doing with that time." Lets say your teammates do well (dont forget about bad teammates). Does that guarantee you a pip? Even a…
-
"So in a situation where you are getting camped by bubba in the basement as an example and therefore buy your team time to finish a gen" You de-pip regardless if teammates do well and your facecamped without an unhook at 4 gens. Matches like these leads to: The mindset that, "Well if I'm going to de-pip anyway. Might as…

It's a matter of selective attention. But mainly the title is relevant in that it introduces the issue at hand. It's not my fault users refuse to read the whole first post of the thread.
