Idk where you got all of that from. I'm just saying if you main survivor and care about winning, solo-queue is not productive or enjoyable at all. If its your secondary role that you play to chill and not care about winning on, then sure you probably would find it playable. But that's like me saying killer has no problems…
-
People do that a lot for both sides. There's a lot of killer players here who say solo queue is fine. Its one thing to be realistic about something you play its entirely another to want something you enjoy gutted for seemingly no reason.
-
BHVR is more likely to shut down the game rather than deny killers the ability to lobby shop.
-
I think Anti-Loop like Nemesis is fine. He can still animation trap for a free hit. But it takes three hits and the counterplay feels fair. Wesker's is pretty decent too up to a point. Ranged killers, Xenomorph, SM, Knight, Artist, etc are all dreadfully boring to play vs imo.
-
I feel like this thread is going to be a graveyard the next time a mod opens it. On topic: Fix the reasons people go next instead of forcing them to be punching bags for the killer.
-
What is there to be excited about? I don't think it has anything to do with the license and more the assumption that people who are very in the loop regarding this game like the folks on this forum are disillusioned with BHVR's gameplay design. The Unknown proved that even with fantastic aesthetics, buildup, and lore, the…
-
I'm intrigued. Do you have the source of this concept? I've always thought Corrupt should be basekit and that the perk would just enhance it somehow. First chase decides games for either side is really annoying.
-
Once they realize their vision of the game is impractical we might get somewhere. Until then it's business as usual for BHVR.
-
I meant to include 'a new gameplay team' my bad. And yeah that chapter wasn't very good either gameplay-wise but I liked the map and aesthetics. Unknown was amazing, but the survivor is whatever and the gameplay was awful on both sides.
-
Yeah it doesn't look very exciting. Then again, all of the additions since Forged in the Fog have been flops to me and I don't see that changing until they get a gameplay design team which isn't happening atm.
-
People do this with any dev team that's 'transparent.' Parasocial relationships are an interesting thing but are very damaging for the consumer and I wish people understood that. To me, the developers deserve to be treated with respect and grace, but the current state of the game is unacceptable and they need to…
-
The general consensus here, even from the mods, is that it's 'discriminatory' to suggest people who have 150+ ms should be restricted from playing on certain servers. I suspect its because the truth is that BHVR just doesn't want to invest in more servers. The amount of Latin American players that play on NA is frustrating…
-
Why do people keep saying this? What do you want us to say? Tunneling happens anyways, how is this conclusion scary or taboo in any way? If you want to tunnel then tunnel.
-
You're not wrong but this thread definitely won't (and isn't) going to go down well given the current crowd. Feels more and more like an off-shoot of the Reddit tbh.
-
Again this isn't a threat. Most killers are already doing this. I like having the ability to play optimally and expect my opponent to do the same. I think you should stop worrying about imaginary rulebooks and internet karma and just play how you want.
-
Exactly my point, you discredit the thought that goes into both perks because its frustrating to not be able to pin it on anything but being outplayed. Also, you were going to slug, bleed out, and tunnel anyways, this isn't really a threat anymore, I'd imagine most survivors are used to it by now.
-
Killers don't like any perk that has an obvious tell that they were outplayed. That's the reason why DH/DS are called crutch/second chance perks and NOED is called a 'comeback mechanic.' I wouldn't pay it any mind.
-
Does balanced = fun? Do you think balance through nerfing is more fun than balance through buffing? By your own admission, the game used to be way better for survivors, and they fell off hard, so what's a reason why survivors should continue to play? Not trying to load these questions, but I'm genuinely curious because it…
-
I mean there's not really a difference between him and other anti loop killers. But he, Huntress, and alien are definitely the worst to play against and I honestly wouldn't mind all three being removed.
-
Well for starters this game has no competitive integrity so I doubt the devs actually care. You'll never see killer ping as a result. Secondly they just don't want to spend money on more servers, but instead of admitting that you'll just get told that 'everyone has a right to play.' Furthermore, I sincerely doubt anyone…
-
How do you feel about about Low GFX settings removing foliage and fog?
-
Yeah I don't understand why everyone wants them to be high tier. The killer is miserable to play against.
-
They need to enforce teamplay and make selfish playstyles impossible or punishable. Remove useless garbage like chest perks, luck perks, sole survivor, etc. Require gen progress to use lockers/totems/chests/items. Forces players to progress the game before they do anything that's not progressing the game. Then we can see…
-
Stop playing regularly somewhat after Xenomorph release, that power and the map made me lose interest fast. I occasionally play killer to get rift progress but survivor gameplay has dwindled to maybe a few games every few weeks.
-
I'm shocked Resilience isn't being complained about considering the same rhetoric people used for MFT regarding 'being rewarded for making a mistake' can apply to it. I am not surprised however, that survivors are told to get good and just never lose chase when asking for counters to four slowdowns with tunneling and…
-
People will say "its okay use that F- killer perk if you want to 🥺🥺🥺" then get mad when survivors 4% their way out of the game. Makes no sense.
-
I kinda wish people would just argue their points in their points instead of posting a long video from a CC I don't want to watch just to have a discussion.
-
I'd also point out that people like to claim survivor mains just want perfect games then get flashbanged once and then suddenly flashbang is overpowered. People get too emotionally attached to their role and it makes these discussions obnoxious because every suggested change is taken personally.
-
They already have??? Locker saves and canceling fall stagger with vaults both got removed before Blight's.
-
Pool of posters is too small and the ones that are interested in posting frequently are on opposite sides of the fence which means every thread boils down to the same people posting the same opinions depending on which side they favor and then arguing in circles until the thread gets closed. I myself have deleted many…
-
They feel half-baked. It feels like they did just enough so that people can't complain that they're not doing anything, but not enough to where it has a significant impact that might require them to revisit and put more effort in later.
-
I mean it's not very different than making jokes about beating people up or joking about jumping off a cliff. As someone who is quite sensitive to topics regarding SA, tbagging and the like never struck me as a direct endorsement of SA but simply an extension of non-verbal trash talk and so I never minded it and even tbag…
-
Yeah it only took them ages to remove something they called a bug, better late than never isn't cause for celebration when the damage has already been done. Citing the HUD makes no sense here, while it is unequivocally a good change, it's also almost been a year+ (?) since it's been added. Killer perk nerfs are largely…
-
I think its funny that people are so against using Lightborn but then will run the same four boring slowdowns every game???
-
Just lunge? I don't understand.
-
The killer might get mad they only get to beat up three people instead of four.
-
It's just something people like to spout. I believe if people have the ability to leave feedback they should as long as its not violent/harassment. I've seen people say that most feedback is useless but the devs ignore 'good' feedback anyways. So if you can complain, complain.
-
The people who say this are primarily killer players who solo queue to run chest builds and play immersed. Very similar to the people who say survivor should feel terrible to play because its realistic to the 'horror theme.'
-
Tunneling is simply targeting a recently unhooked survivor within a certain time-frame. This time-frame varies for every person you ask, but there are definitely solutions that encompass a large swath of problems because of tunneling. Yes people will still complain, but this shouldn't be relevant because most players are…
-
I prefer indoor maps way more because of how static they are. This is probably worse for killer but for looping being able to plan so far ahead because you know what loops are close is great. Doing SWF callouts on RPD is very nice, and WoO isn't even needed on that map. Still remains one of my favorite maps in the game.…
-
These are all tunneling though? I think people need to stop bringing in morality to excuse tunneling, it should be very clear to anyone intelligent that this isn't a moral dilemma and that killer players aren't felons for wanting to play to win. The entire point is that a recently unhooked survivor shouldn't be such an…
-
It's just a PR thing to say they release stats consistently. Same reason why each AMA is relatively useless.
-
BGP should be nerfed because of pallet saves, not blinds. And once BGP gets gutted Flashbang + Lightfooted will be complained about next. And then once that's gutted we'll be right back to complaining about flashlights. Blinds are supposed to threatening. Either learn how to play against them or equip Lightborn which…
-
Not mandatory. You just want what is essentially basekit lightborn which would render an entire subset of items and perks useless. Blinds are supposed to be a threat.
-
I mean it's true that pipping becomes a time constraint rather than a skill/luck constraint. I don't see OP's statement as rude at all.
-
Why does a killer with a healthy pick-rate and win-rate across all MMR's need buffs?
-
Can't agree with this one. Killers should not be punished for being good enough to kill someone early. Getting someone out early just needs to take more skill.
-
Then don't complain when you get nerfed and survivors get buffed immensely so survivors can survive.
-
Might as well at this point.
-
Why did anyone think a survivor perk would get meaningful buffs?
