It does need to be fixed I’ve had a lot of games with new people on the other team... it’s not fun when everyone you’re playing against is significantly newer than you. if I’m killer I try to lay off a bit and let them get some points and play around a bit. if survivor, let them get some hits and points

Buff solos (where it doesn’t buff swf) like more info -totem count, chase indicators, quick chat, etc. then buff killers - more info, faster bloodlust, qol and power # buffs, etc. balanced game for all

Oh agreed! He certainly is, but I think when frenzy triggered sloppy it was a better slow (if survivors healed)

This! superior to a good rng pig, but extra box extra trap with good rng pig using sloppy thana pop is a strong slow. legion before the nerf with extra mend time and thana sloppy pop was really good

Meta perks primary purpose is to counter the killers strongest tactics. The tactics that win games actually. tunneled? DS slugged? Unbreakable camped? Borrowed Time good loop play (or you messed up) Dead Hard bonus: Stealth killer? Spine chill Thats why they’re meta, that’s why they work.

I think the system is building up ratings on players. I’m learning spirit, and downed everyone so fast that I let them reset to keep playing for a while. (Dropped a Claudette next to a hook until she wiggles free and then walked off so they could heal up and unhook) pretty fun game actually lol

When I’m killer, everyone always finds a pallet and there’s soooo many when I’m a survivor, there are no pallets anywhere and they’ve all been broken when I run into one well that’s not true exactly of course but it feels that way!

Most broken: Legion and spirit/nurse/oni worst case? Legion injures all 8 people in the first minute and spirit or nurse one shots everyone. close second is oni in permanent rage

Thanks this is very helpful, never thought about how stealth killers really get the one up with the first hit mainly... that’s a good point. of course spine chill can prevent that too or extend the time it takes to get it. Gonna get hate but I’ll be honest lol This is for my “meta perk” basic build ds, bt, unbreakable I know, second chance scummy survivor lol but I use it to counter any tunnelling, camping or slugging mainly. I have many other builds depending on the challenge or mood of course! I don’t always run this.

I’ll be honest, I do like monitor on spirit, but it encourages a slightly different play style. it basically gives you an easier first hit since you can get close initially before chase begins. Don’t phase for the first hit, just walk up. This is more difficult if a survivor is in a strong position. Pallet/window close.…

Leave gen grabs... I’ve countered an ebony mori spirit that way. (Been hooked once, acted like she wasn’t there, let her grab off gen, DS, gone.... killed about 2 min later though lol)

I had an idea like that for a perk (sharing aura reading) so YES lol. really like the range in some builds though, don’t want to loose that (kindred and bond)

Spirit a bad spirit: 1-2 hooks and gates are open a good spirit: 1-2 gens and everyone’s dead. There is just no good counter play when a spirit knows what they’re doing. I prefer bond... compare what each tells you. Bond gives you location of any survivors in your area. Empathy is pretty much most useful when a chase is initiated: you know exactly where survivor and killer is during chase. If they’re across map you know you’re safe true... but if no heart beat and someone just got injured…

Addon rework won’t be done in isolation. They will change him in some way as well. likely give him the nurse treatment, some kind of cool down. They’d probably slightly nerf billy and slightly buff bubba.

It is hard mode difficulty as it stand now, you’re totally right. How about instead of a hard mode perk you see once every 250-300 games, you make it an interesting trade off/utility perk to help counter the slugging meta, where more people might use it to shake up said meta?

If I’m on death hook, as a solo, (usually after being tunnelled) with bond? you better believe it! In swf agro is requested and volunteered. Difference between a 3/4 escape and 1/2 escape. In solo... you’re drafted.

Bubba is crazy strong with the right build... I dunno are all these survivors potatoes? (Maybe they are, not being sarcastic.) Play with your food with obsession control and good addons and he’s a one hit down machine.

Open handed try it with kindred or bond trust me if u get a 4 swf team, everyone run bond and open handed, you’ll be able to see everyone on half the map. Or everyone run kindred and open handed, after a hook you have aura reading of the killer on about 1/3 of the map. kindred: 16 + (4*8) = 48m bond: 36 + (4*8) = 68m

Go for general area and have about 50:50 chance of either getting great or good. even after playing for thousands of hours I still miss skill checks sometimes lol especially when there’s that sudden lag, killer is walking up or I happen to stop repair the instant one is popping up

open handed the amount of info boost when paired with kindred or bond is worth the perk slot and your team benefits.
