@Almo you've really played yourself there
-
The way I just learned to have fun is to stop trying to win and accept that I'm not going to win every game and just do fun builds and killers, even if I lose half of my games that way
-
Nope
-
I'm not saying the result of this match was unfair. I'm saying what the killer had to do to get to this makes it unfair (nurse, camping/tunneling, getting a 3gen luckily, 3 gen slowdown perks)
-
my argument is that in order to get a 2k/2e the killer needs to play nurse/spirit/PH and play dirty (tunnel/camp) I'm not saying that these things should not be allowed, it just shows that the killer needs to meet very specific requirements in order to stand a chance
-

The restrictions make the game more balanced, removing perks like OoO. And even so, games are unbalanced
-
well, if you are talking at competitive level play, then you can knock out doctor, oni, huntress and hillbilly from that list
-
I am saying that the game is not balanced because the only way a killer can stand a chance at a top level is if the play nurse and camp/tunnel and get a 3 gen along with 3 gen slowdown/stall perks. I think there should be more killers viable
-
Well, I think it's quite obvious in the games otzdarva and ayrun played that the survivors were not playing optimally. When I have time, I'll go through the VOD and point out all the mistakes
-
I completely agree. And yet there are $15.000 tournaments being played as we speak
-
I ignored the other games because the survivors weren't playing at top level. My point does not include survivors who aren't playing at the top level
-
I'm not ignoring the 99% of games, just pointing out how the 1% is unbalanced for tournament play. And yes, there is interest in this game becoming an e-sport, otherwise there wouldn't be $15.000 raised for a prize pool. I don't have a solution for the balance, I'm just pointing out how the game isn't balanced
-
I don't care what the game was created to be. If people are treating it like an e-sport, and there is sufficient funding for high level tournaments, then I'm going to pay attention to that side of the game. A lot of games weren't made to be e-sports, but than become e-sports because people enjoyed them enough.
-
Well, unfortuantely they are taken seriously and it's not my choice to make that decison as a $15.000 prize pool tourney exists. And your point about it being 1% is irrelavant. Am I not allowed to talk about the 1%?
-
Well if there are tournaments with a $15.000 prize pool being made then I am going to treat it like one
-
It says 'AT TOP LEVEL PLAY' in the title
-
Did you read the title? It says 'AT TOP LEVEL PLAY'
-
I'm sorry but you clearly seem like a new player if you think the killers would even stand a tiny chance winning any games whatsoever if camping and tunneling were banned. And then you say nurses calling and BBQ 😂
-
Wraith. Hit&Run is extremely fun
-
Thanks, I'm excited
-
Yep, wraith main here although I now play him less as I feel like I've discovered everything there is to discover. The key is to hit and run, and rely on survivors healing out in the open. You basically have to run the bone clapper/silent bell addon otherwise you will never get a hit. I think bone clapper can be just as…

Cows, Fungoose, Dowsey
-
Tierlist for comp play. Nurse, spirit and PH can all counter looping effectively. Nurse and Spirit generate map pressure and PH can tunnel players out of the game. Freddy is good but can be countered by survivors staying awake and predropping pallets. Billy has good map pressure but not great downing potential. Oni has a…

You don't like slugging? I can see that you must be new to DBD. Always remember: the killer's job is to kill, not to be nice and let you escape
-
I don't understand, why are perks like IF and STBFL crossed out but Iron Maiden and Mad Grit aren't?
-
Because it's unfair to balance around casual players when there will always be a competitive side of DBD where survivors will destroy almost all killers. It doesn't matter that it's not a high proportion, because typically these veteran players will spend the most money on the game and play the most, meaning they should be…

OK, this is actually a good perspective that I hadn't thought of
-
I WANT DEATHSLINGER TO BE BUFFED. READ MY POST
-
I'M LITERALLY SAYING I WANT HIM BUFFED. READ MY POST
-
I say in my post I want DS to get a buff. He's not a good killer in terms of strength or design. I just want him to be more balanced instead of having all his strength in the 1v1 and none in the 1v4
-
My point is that it's not healthy for his only source of pressure to be quick downs. He should have more counterplay and also get a secondary pressure ability
-
Your counters require the DS player to make a mistake. If a DS always shoots or always fakes, then he's not playing well
-
Well, I barely play survivor that much but I assumed holding m1 on gens and then escaping isn't the fun part of the game for the vast majority of people. I've never heard anyone say that they enjoy that more than the chase
-
The 1v1 is the ONLY part of the game for the survivor where they interact with the killer. You have to make it fun for them and the killer
-
I'm a killer main lol. I also think deathslinger should be buffed overall, just in other ways
-
I completely agree. People say 'killers should have the power in the 1v1.' That's really a bad argurment as it makes much more sense for deathsligner to have a more balanced chase (able to be countered better), but then have a secondary movement ability. You have to look at the fun on the survivor side as well as the…
-
Ah. The classis 'kid' insult. You love to hear us
-
HAHAH. I love that. 5 out of 7 games are facecampers. That's really not a convincing lie.
-
As hillbilly i flick my camera in line with the attack cooldown animation.
-
Thanks for your response. How do you even test a change as insignificant as altering a number of bloodpoints in a challenge?
-
Are you serious?! You do realise that buffing the amount of BPs would take literally 10 seconds. What even happens at BHVR studios? This isn't an indie game anymore, you have millions of dollars..
-
Oh. Well then. That explains it
-
The guys oni build is really odd. Looks more like a Ghostface build to me
-
I think that there are more perks that need a rework more desperately than boil over
-
You either AFKd, bought the shards, or used some unknown exploit. I'm going for AFK because there's no reason you'd lie about buying shards and I don't think there is an exploit
-
I don't think they DCd because of you. If they had DS+UB they would be good if you pick them up, or if you leave them slugged. That's the point of their build.
-
It means where you hit someone on the hook. Like slicing kebab meat for a doner kebab
-
Well it depends on what your goal is. If you're playing solo and you just want to escape try: Adren/DS/Deliverance/DH
-
I camp for a few reasons The most obvious. When the gates are open/99d and I want to secure a kill/possible snowball When I want to secure second stage hook/death. I do this only when survivors just all try and push gens so I go back to the hook near 2nd stage/death to punish them This one is very rare. When a survivor…
