I'm having a similar issue with similar hardware. GPU usage is WAY higher like the game isn't capped at 1080p anymore as far as resolution. Something hasn't been normal with the last 2-3 builds.

More FPS doesn't give anyone an advantage in DbD. What it does do is let the game run visually smoother at the cost of a little extra GPU usage. I've been playing DBD in 120fps for months. Can't go back to 60 now. Makes my eyes bleed.

Compare certain landmarks. The smoke house for example is WAY closer to the map edge walls than it was before. It's also a bit closer to the hunting cabin than it was before.

The map -is- smaller, by a significant amount. So is the Temple of Purgation.

This is -far- darker than it was on PTB, to the point of barely being able to see the generator I'm working on. Maybe somewhere in the middle between live and ptb brightness would be fine? Seriously tho, Mending vfx has also been too dark for awhile now as well. Feel like I need to learn to play dbd blindfolded.

@HectorBrando - what platform are you on? On PC (Steam) they've gotten a LOT more stable at 60fps. I am noticing a LOT of texture pop-in though. Seems like they're a little aggressive on the LOD distance.

Wasn't also it only used if killer has awful ping? Might be time to turn it back on again.....and make it server side 100% of the time. Killer should not be authoritative for anything.

Killer and survivor cannot both win that fight. If the survivor is going to be in time to stun the killer, they shouldn't be able to hit the survivor too. IMO it is a flaw that needs to be fixed.

On PC (steam) as well. Springwood Bedham Preschool III map, behind a hook, outside killer shack. Btw, map is still a -little- dark in spots.

What would be even more interesting is to see the distribution of those matches by rank. In other words, are the # of matches in higher ranks so much fewer in number that the occurrence of those 3-6% overall 4 person SwF matches actually -higher-? Or are high rank killers full of crap about “almost all matches are SwF”?…

Not all of the DCs lately are intentional. I've had several matches a night the last few weeks with my SwF group where ONE of us gets randomly disconnected from the match. None of us are intentionally disconnecting nor is anything wrong with our internet connections this has been happening since the last patch or two back.…

My group has noticed a lot of just random instances of the game randomly disconnecting for no apparent reason. We've been in a match and one of us just drops in the middle of trying to unhook someone or run across the map.
