Does the entity reset the memories of the survivors after every trial? That could explain why they never remember how to fix a gen after Countless times doing it. Or why they still have not become desensitized to the killers and the pain inflicted on them.
I feel like this ties closer to Jigsaw in terms of having to make a choice (Get your trap off and leave or risk death to help others) Plus it would take a load of micromanaging off this poor killer. As the headtraps are right now they are really weak but if they were made inactive and unremovable till the gens were done it would take a whole lot of micromanaging off the killer and give her a chance to play into the jigsaw role of make your choice (Free your self and flee or Stay and help others escape)
