To be honest i think the endurance part is ok since you are after all tanking a hit, however the aura part is where the perk not only becomes kicking a dead horse, but also burning it and nuking it.1 -

The poor map collision hasn't anything to do with hugh tech, so if your real question is "did bhvr fixed the bad map collision" the answer is no.1
