Re: So still no ghoul changes huh?
I'm kinda baffled we didn't get any 1v4 changes at all. It's like the devs went, "nah not getting yelled at again" and decided catching flak for no changes and potentially overtuned new content (I feel like on both the survivor and killer side) was better than getting derided for breaking something again.
I guess I hope the mid chapter has something more engaging.
Re: So still no ghoul changes huh?
Honestly, this was to be expected that there will be the silent treatment on that one. And to be fair, I dont care anymore. Anytime the Devs want to change anything they listen to the loudest group and step back. So why even bother with trying to change something?
They make money with the second Stranger Things Chapter. They make money with the Anniversary Chapter whatever it will be. This is all they care about.
Re: A general lack of sympathy from ignorance
There is no other game i have ever played where i am supposed to "think about how my opponent emotionally feels about how i'm playing and adjust my playstyle to be 'nicer'"
This conversation is constant because the emotional response to this game is higher. Other pvps, like shooters and fighting games, have more balanced opponents. Skill levels might be different, but the goals and abilities are roughly the same. If a decent killer or good survivor team is pitted against a lacking opponent, they automatically control the feel of the match, and can potentially hold the game hostage to make the other miserable. I never experienced anything remotely like this when I was playing shooters, nor did I see in-game actions that show how unhappy someone is, like pallet slamming and AFKing under hook. I don't even remember DCing being a thing in those games. I've also never seen in-game BMing anything like this one. If you get tbagged in CoD it's over pretty fast. You can get humped for four minutes in this game, and then get graphically murdered afterwards. Which brings up the narrative difference. A psychopath torturing and murdering innocent people feels different than two people in a war shooting each other. It's really not comparable to the average pvp.
Re: So still no ghoul changes huh?
I have commented on numerous ghoul posts over the months suggesting how they can either remove the lock on free hit and make him a mobility catch up killer, or keep the lock on hit but you are going to have to nerf his cooldowns and mobility catch up playstyle.
Kind of cant say same things over and over, he needs changes its clear as day
Edit: could of added solution in original but legit people have been complaining about this so much and they don't do anything its tiring
Re: So still no ghoul changes huh?
The end user experience is 99% of Survivors don't like going against Ghoul cause he's a S-Tier low effort high reward killer due to his design and we want him to be adjusted accordingly. But Devs have been ignoring the feedback we have been providing.
