Will we see a legion rework??
legion is in dire need of some love from the BHVR team. His kit doesn’t work creating enough pressure on players and the maps are too stretched to make his power useful. He needs some serious love and I would be ecstatic to see him get some buffs or a rework.
Re: Who wants Dead by Daylight to have a flooded map like this?
Nvm the water, what are those graphics? Also adding water to dbd will probly make the game run as slow as the time it takes for some of these gifs start up lol. Even with the current potato graphics some computers fans are going nuts and making the game feel choppy. I recall trying to play assassins creed origins on an earlier computer thst could even run skyrim and crysis and all that just fine, but in assassins creed if i ever got near a body of water the computer would heat up like crazy, if i jumped in the water the game would crash. Water like this ^ would certainly need an overhaul to the whole game first.
And lastly, what would happen to the basement? Just flooded?
Re: Oni is too strong and too common in 2v8.
Going against Oni is beyond frustrating, he is almost always in power and has his dash ready, not only that you can't even stealth against him since killers now have chronic aura reading + the fact that your blood orbs give you away. The fact that they made it so easy for him to turn is just basically the killer playing on cruise control. You can't 360 him or dodge him, and that is not to forget how awful most servers we're being put on are, so the killers always get the hit-validation even if you have stunned him, or are 6 meters away from a window.
Give me Nurse, Billy and Blight ANY day.
Re: Need a killer perk that specifically counters Dead Hard
See the part in the middle?
"Survivors already suffering from Deep Wound cannot be protected by Endurance"
You cannot outlast Deep Wound, only mend it. Which is even harder than walking off Exhausted.
So, imo, the best way to counter DH, is through Deep Wound.
I’m so sick and tired of 2v8 and chaos shuffle
BHVR, please come out with brand new modes, we never get anything new to the current modes every time they return.
Re: I’m so sick and tired of 2v8 and chaos shuffle
Since BHVR aren't doing anything about slugging and tunnelling anymore, these modes are pretty much the only times that I'll play Survivor these days (Chaos Shuffle often has plenty of tunnelling and slugging, but at least Killers can't also bring 4 slowdown perks to compound the misery).
They are the closest thing we have to casual modes, so I'm usually happy to see them return because I know all my fellow casuals will be queuing up there too. These modes don't seem to appeal to the more competitive side of the player base, which helps to make the trials feel a little bit more chill.
That's not to say I don't want to see BHVR develop new modes or to continue to improve established ones, because I do. The ideal for me is a rotation of casual modes so that I don't really have to play regular 1V4 ever again if I don't want to.
Re: I’m so sick and tired of 2v8 and chaos shuffle
I love 2v8. Lots of other people do too. BHVR can’t make everyone happy. Whatever new modes they come up with are going to be loved by some and hated by others.
Re: comms and ranked system for balancing
How could they possibly "force" comms? How would they even know who's using them, especially on the consoles?
Re: comms and ranked system for balancing
the problem with word-based wheels is that language barriers exist
One really nice thing about a ping system or comms wheel is that localization is client side.
So if I use the wheel to say something like "going for unhook", then each player would hear that call out in their own language automatically.
And since the comms wheel callouts are determined by BHVR, there's no moderation issue with bad actors. Well, aside from spamming, which can be mitigated with ping cooldowns.
