Re: Is The First OP?
He's strong, but not OP. I'd place him around the same tier as the likes of Executioner or Nemesis. Just 50/50s, really. His power is incredibly strong if he's patient with firing it, but the same goes for Nemy and Pyramidhead. The undetectable I don't think is too much of an issue too as on most maps he will pretty much never hit it.
Re: Giving up seems to be so common now, why?
We already have an abandon system that allows for free DC's at specific outcomes and that's fine. We really shouldn't be advocating for no DC penalties because practically, it's going to lead to a lot of matches just being half bots or worse and nobody wants that. Secondly, other people do play the game and we have to respect each other's time because it's only fair. Your average dbd match goes 10-15 minutes. This isn't like Dota where you need commit 40+ minutes to a match, if you can't tough out a single dbd match because you aren't having fun then I hate to say it but you should probably take a break from the game for a while.
Spirit audio feature?
Idk how balanced this would be but.. Imo map ambiance and other noises regarding gen completion sound, loud noise notice (those black explosions or whateva) the sacrifice sound etc should be completely silent in phase. The amount of times I cant chase survivors or track because lery's main room TV's are loud ASF and the gen completion sound and other sounds mess up my tracking completely. most have either really loud or low footsteps sound (eyrie for ex) to the point you can't even hear it. You need to blast your headphones to 200% and no person would break their eardrum just to hear those tiny eyrie footsteps. Kinda ironic don't you think? Rendering spirits power useless on some maps bc audio sucks and gets bugged almost every patch. But this is just a personal opinion regarding balance. What do you think? Considering 2v8 is coming and I that mode people scream a lot from getting hooked and gens pop more
Re: Why Making the Blight 4.4m/s is a Bad Idea
It's typical mindset of survivor players who want it easy for themselves. Killer can actually do something without being punished 24 / 7 for every wrong step? That's bad. Apparently killers should always suffer for any minor misplay or else they are overpowered. When someone suggests to actually try to play such killer and learn how it works - no, this won't do. Nobody wants to dedicate any effort to understanding how things work on the other side.
Re: Where is the variety?
Survivors have a large number of options that can completely wreck most of the killer roster. The more experience the survivors, the better they utilize these tools. Eventually. The effectiveness of these options out-power killers to such a degree that only a select few killers are actually viable to play. That means youll start seeing killers like blight/nurse more and more often, because killers like ghostface and trapper simply dont have a toolkit to deal with effective looping and teamwork. Most of the perks that at the very least allowed them to stay somewhat viable continue to get nerfed due to strong killers being almost unbeatable with said perks. This means strong overperforming killers get slightly taken down a notch but still strong, but low tier killers barely holding on for dear life become completely invalidated. With all the gen regression nerfs, this only leaves a handful of killers left that realistically get picked. People demanded killers nerfs, and killers got nerfed globally. Every nerf, less and less killers are viable which push more and more killers to only playing s tier killers.
Re: tired of power struggle being the most useless perk
I as a killer main, whenever I see a survivor die under a pallet, I'm immediately assume they're gonna have either DS, or Flip Flop/Power struggle, so I try to vacuum pick them as far from the pallet as possible so I can safely swing out of it. Unfortunately the strategy is only ever really effective against newer killers. I guess you could run it without Flip Flop and then see if the maybe walks through a pallet while carrying, but other than that it's always been a pretty useless perk other than for that one gimmick build.
Re: Who are the most iconic forum members on here?
Now that I think of it, I should have also added @MoZo to the list. He always has some decent takes.
Re: Where is the variety?
The odds of getting the same swf multiple times in a row and multiple nights in a row is insanly low. Realisticly i cant see that happening unless your in a region with like 10 players.
Im on eu servers and i rarely get the same survivor and i maybe recognise a survivor in my lobby maybe once a month.
I dont wanna say your lieing but your making this out to be a huge issue with no proof and the examples your using seem very exagerated.
What i would do if you are seeing this truthfully is record it, put it on yourtube then report it because in that example of same swf time and time again shouldnt happen and could be thst either a bug or they
are forcing themself into your lobby
Re: Why do I have no option to change my profile picture?
The option seems to have disappeared entirely. No idea why.
Re: Was it ever explained why some maps appear much more often than the others?
the devs saw that i want toba 24/7 so they did this for me as a personal favour.
I'm sorry
