I've gome back and forth on it since his release. I think he's mostly ok at this point. This type of power tends to bring out the skill gap in players, and that can be frustrating when you have a mixed skillset on the team.
It's the same problem as Nurse: half the playerbase is going to go down instantly every chase, and the other half will be able to dodge and manage distance.
A token or cooldown system would help players who are struggling to dodge the attack, but he's so streamlined to play as that I would hesitate to add it. He's unique and fun to play as. It's not like he's S tier either. I would leave him alone.

I think Vecna is one of those killers that, in Otz or hens or fieldagentreapers hands, is an absolute beast to go up against. Just like Scott jund being upset that people were wanting to give up against him. But these guys are at the height of their particular skill set. Of course they're extremely good at him.
But a lot of people aren't and won't be.
Players that are use to killers like wraith, chucky, doctor, demo, Myers, ghostface, etc are not going to pick up Vecna and suddenly know how to anticipate survivor movement and nail shots from a gazillion miles away. His kit is more like Pinheads or Pyramidhead, maybe at a stretch like artist aiming bird shots. It's not a standard dash or m1 power.
Hell, since he came out I seldom even see the new Vecna. Maybe once every twenty or so matches?

This is just wishful thinking, high mmr = high level play, wether that be in solo or swfs.
And right there is the disconnect. I wonder if this sentiment if shared by a vast majority of killers and survivors alike. Its a HUGE disconnect imo.
When Ferrous said "Matchmaker doesn't care above the soft cap and will happily pair players with leagues different skill, that isn't a competitive match or high level play.", he was correct. This has been said by BHVR. Above the soft cap, a LARGE pool of players open up, and your score will simply be in that pool. I think its around 1600? Anyway, this is something you cannot refute: it is fact. At least last time I checked, which admittedly has been awhile.
New rework coming though, so hopefully all this wont matter anyway.

edit II: Bhvr really doesn't show anything on mmr do they? Can't find the 'brackets', and I think the 1600 I pulled from another thread talking on this subject, so I'll just detract that. There is a break point, just can't confirm 1600 or otherwise. Anywho!

Survivors shouldn't be allowed to Abandon the game until at least 3 people actually dead via Mori or Sacrifice not just because they are down.
Why do they get to cry baby quit, and keep all there bp, when if a Killer has clearly lost the game they punished they leave?
Killers have to eat that L like a man usually needing to grow and run the 4 toxic butt wigglers out of the exit gate (Because most survivors are immature and won't leave until then). When the exit gate opens the Killer should have the option to abandon if he chooses without penalty, Or the Survivors should be FORCED to sit until they are by luck the draw the literal last one alive.
Game Crashes and Deranking
The game typically crashes once a session (every day), which is kind of ridiculous in and of itself, but I'm losing rank when this happens too. Can you not detect a crash? The Unreal engine seems to know … Fix your game.

The devs spent the last year doing practically zero balance changes to develop anti systems they canceled. Line of course people are running the same things because nothing changed. The game is basically the same as it was at the start of last year.
Good Behaviour Incentives
I think with all the negativity from 2025 we should reward players in game for well meaning/vigilant actions. Here's a few situations I think could be expanded on, rewarding post trial actions with bloodpoints to foster a healthier community and in game economy.
- Successful Player Report
These trials tend to force a disconnect, why not reward players for taking the time to report + reimburse for the lost trial?
- Receive Props
The prop system has been so underutilized for years now. This could be to reward bravery, skill, or general good sportsmanship. Should come with a cap for how many you can give/receive in a day.
- Spectators Bonus
This would either give a flat amount or equalize BP if killed early. I frequently see survivors confused, angry, and also absent from the endgame; the only screen where the perks and add ons are revealed. This would be a great learning tool for new players who would rather blindly try again than analyze the situation.

I do, but they've been a lot more active in trying to bugfix since the new website went live. People just need to report it with clips/ways to repeat it. I'm sure people likely have already.

NERFS:
- Nurse:
- increase power cooldown by 1-2 sec for each blink
- Hide auras while holding the m2 - Blight:
- Increase cooldown of each token by 0,5s
- Nerf speed addons - The Ghoul
- Increase recharge time of power by 2 sec
- Make the vault slower - it's still very quick - The First
- Increase power cooldowns by 2 sec! Don't make it so spammable
BUFFS:
- Unknown
- Decrease teleport time by 5 seconds
- Make destroying the clones 3 seconds longer
- Decrease M2 power cooldown by additional 1 second - Dredge
- Lower teleport cooldown
- Make her teleports faster - Sadako
- Lower cooldown which she can teleport to TV's hat were turned off by survivior by maybe 10 seconds?

- Purple addon that grants him 10% speed for 5 second BASEKIT - Demogorgon
- Make destroying his portal longer by 5 sec
- Maybe create a mechanism that prevents surviviors from destroying the portal for 30-60 seconds after openening it?
