It’s been so quiet that people have forgotten that we’re getting our mid chapter next tuesday!!
We’re getting our new survivor, Tricksters New map and Trickster is going to be a completely different character now!!
I’m just wondering what they have done with him cause this isn’t just a rework like doc or leatherface he’s Being completely redone from the ground up
Im actually excited and nervous cause I have no clue what there going to do

*Lowering the movement speed to 4.4m/s doesn't make much difference. *The most effective way to adjust the Killer is to adjust their unique abilities (including add-ons). *The game is simple. *Because the game is simple, player skill has simply a big impact. *The game feels complex because you've been playing it for a while. Veteran players have gained knowledge of the game over time and find it difficult. *Some players prefer stronger Killers, regardless of experience. *Lowering the movement speed to 4.4m/s will make it boring for many people. *Lowering the movement speed will make players who are already bad at using blight feel like they're just moving slower. *Good Nurse players walk a lot. * The proposed adjustments are worth testing. However, Current testing methods (PTB) cannot accurately evaluate the product. This is because there are people who over-advertise and people who believe in over-advertising. Testing methods need to be improved.

I've read most of the tome lores thank you.
Also those are entirely just your own interpretations of those lores, rather than objectively confirmed retcons.
We don't know if Spirit "intentionally gave herself up to the entity to avoid her father getting taken", since we don't know reason why she drops the sword in her dream at the end of her tome story before getting swallowed whole, as it is never explicitly made clear nor even stated why in the story, meaning we're only left with assumptions & speculations to go on as to why she did it.
The images in Jane's tome doesn't confirm that she was taken by The Entity then and there, all we see is that she runs out of the prison with fog coming out of the door, nothing more. It is also much more likely that she only temporarily entered a bleed while in the prison, that was left from when The Entity took either Zarina or Caleb there. Same way the group of friends in the story ''Survivor Statement. Sean Dint.'' from tome 6 temporarily entered a bleed and got attacked by The Oni.
I do not remember which tome talks about the mercenaries from Wraith's tome, but what you're stating doesn't sound like a retcon.
As i said, the tome lores are intended to be tied to the base character's lores, with all the multiverse stuff being tied to the npc tomes exclusively.

That's certainly possible. Alternatively, perhaps the act of taking on a family name that didn't belong to Hachi is what created the curse. That strikes me as the sort of thing that would have supernatural repercussions in feudal Japan.

All of it is pointless when discussing licensed content, because that is up to the license holders and their agreements with BHVR. For all we know someone important at netflix hated the meme and thought it was a bad representation of their IP and wanted it changed, while using a rights negotiation as the time and opportunity to do it. Crossover content is always about advertising as much if not more than it is giving the audience what they want, games like Marvel Vs Capcom 3 were basically just an advertising slate for the MCU to Marvel instead of bringing back beloved legacy characters. Its pretty much always just business.
