Ebony and Ivory Mori nerf when?
Getting tired of killers immediately assuming every swf I play in is some .000000000000005% meta gen rush squad and bring out the most sweaty killers and builds with an ebony mori and proceeds to ghostface tbag the entire match and mori everyone off a two hook because we didn't play perfect and loop him for 3 gens a chase so we get punished with getting tunneled into death... devs please do something about mori's they are broken and make the game utterly unfun for survivors and give no points to anyone.
My suggestion is simple, leave cypress as is, make ivory mori work only when you get one survivor to death hook status, and ebony work when you can kill all survivors only when they are death hook, why this hasn't been done is beyond me. Even as a player who enjoy's both sides fervently this change should have been done a long time ago.

Hopefully they dont nerf them anytime soon.

they should nerf them, but only when they nerf keys.
65 -
Key nerf when as well, then. If they nerf one they have to nerf the other. Both give unfair means to end the game early.
37 -
Yeah but technically with a mori you can get a survivor out of the game within 3 minutes for a key you have to do gens you cant key as fast as a mori.
12 -
Catch up mechanics have place in the game and need to be left alone.
2 -
An entire survivor dead for free isn't fair at all, even if it is considered a "catch up" mechanic, and if you can do that to multiple survivors... it makes it very easy to exploit

I always viewed Insta heals as the equivalent yo mori's. And instas are already nerfed yo the ground.
Keys aren't that bad. If 4 survivorsescape via hatch than they were likely getting out anyway.
6 -
Bruh i get survivors out of the game first 15 seconds all the time. They dc on first down.

Survivors say that I'm quite the bore
To mori without a reason
But playing nice is such a chore
So it's open season!!!

Soon
Killers cannot have fun in this game, only sweat
10 -
I rarely run into moris tbh, and I don’t run them often unless I’m going against a whole group with matching names and neon outfits, or if I had a bad game previously
6 -
You survivors ######### about so much yet have the entire game in your favor.
i would like a statistic on how often killers get a favorable map compared to survivors. Majority of the maps generators are spread so far in between by your first hook, 2-3 gens are finished. You’re complaining about a Mori which requires catching you, hooking you, then catching you again.
Get over yourselves. Killers and our perks get nerf and you want an Ultra Rare offering to be nerfed to? Lmao 👏🏽👏🏽

Killers: Hey, don't nerf ruin. The game is too fast. I'll have to mori and tunnel.
Survivors: MoRi AnD TuNnEl. Whatever baby killer.
Killers: *brings mori or tunnels*
Survivors: :O why are killers bringing moris and/or playing dirty. Pls nerf.
I don't know what to tell you bud.

Curious what the stats are for mori usage. I know I mostly see them as expensive bloodweb fodder. For all the grief killers get for being sweaty and such, you gotta admit... Most moris go unused.
2 -
I just hope that when they nerf moris and keys they don’t announce it beforehand. Just outta the blue one patch BAM keys and moris are nerfed.
0 -
No need to nerf ever. They are awesome

Ivory Mori is fine. If ebony gets a nerf, I think it should restrict to 2 survivors instead of every survivor. Restricting to death hook defeats the purpose of the Mori. If you want to restrict it based on hooks, then make it not trigger until you get a blanket number of hook events regardless of hook states, as long as they have been on the hook

Adrenaline, Borrowed Time & Decisive Strike nerf when???
Can't wait for survivors having to play with a brain, rather than being rewarded for being bad but it doesn't matter because you're using 1 of these 3 perks
1 -
"Ultra Rare" That pops up in my bloodweb in every killer I level up. It is downright unbalanced and needs to go. (Same with keys so people don't think I'm bIaSeD,)
1 -
Personally, I think this is how it should be.
Cypress stays the same
Ivory only works if someone left the trial via Escape, Death, or DC.
Ebony works per generator completion. For example, if 2 generators got done you can mori 2 times. The reason why this is a good way to change ebony is because it prevents gen rushing and it doesn't easily punish people for playing with randoms or just have bad luck with the trial and end up getting nothing done. Also, this will force the killer to hook some people in order to get iridescent medal making it less OP.
What do you think?

I rarely play games with mori's and keys. Although I see why people would think it's a problem

It has already been nerf... If you've been playing this game before June 2017, you would know that Mori doesn't require you to hook a survivor first before mori can be used.. Back then, you only need to down someone and use Mori.. So what the hell are you talking about? You should ask the devs when will they nerf keys..
4 -
Moris are pathetic and the killer using them depips anyway, so I say let we stay how they are.
2 -
Entitled survivor after just 1 game of not escaping 😂, who do you think promote this style of gameplay? Killers wanna play nice but i kinda have to accept the fact nowadays of possibility getting 1 hooked and wait another 15-20mins for another lobby
5 -
when we get old ruin back/gen speed are FIXED
keys nerfed
toolboxes nerfed
until then NO
5 -
changing moris to basically only working on death hook kills the item, it would usually be faster to just carry them to a hook, so bringing the item would basically be only the animation and give you no edge in the game at all. for a green/pink rarity item, that is bad, the only changes that need to be done to moris is they cant be used till everyone has been hooked at least once in the trial. nothing more
6 -
neither is escaping the game with a key when you didn't complete all 5 gens
5 -
No one is saying a Mori isn't bs just the same way a key is bs. The difference between the two is that the killer has to actually win the chase on you twice to get the kill, where as a key you actually don't need to touch a single gen to get away with. In fact just to test it out I escaped with a key after the killer wiped out my team and closed the hatch in my face. I depipped it was funny as hell, but also a reminder of why keys are more unbalanced than a mori. Stop comparing the two, one requires work (even if it isn't MUCH work) the other does not.
7 -
Aside from getting taken out of the game quickly by a mori, I thoroughly enjoy getting mori'd because each one (except Trapper and Wraith's) are unique and fun to watch.
2 -
Oh I'm making things boring for everyone, I'm having a bad night so we'll see how many of 44 ebonies I go through on Wraith
3 -
Probably not the right time for this. Might want to wait for the wounds to heal a little bit, but go off. I'm sure you won't get any hate for demanding more killer nerfs after like 3 straight nerfs in a row.
1 -
It's with the key removal patch
2 -
A lot of the red rank SWFs are all using meta perks and trying to get the gens done as fast as possible.
1 -
That's funny two of those already received nerfs and killers still cry about them😂
1 -
And if you don't like borrowed time don't camp/tunnel it's a simple counter.
1 -
The issue is that 3 can escape in hatch with 1 gen left.
Considering the fact ruin now is gone, most killers will lose 3 gens on the first chase. A killer with experience will reduce that to 2 or maybe even 1 with a high mobility killer.
They are just continuously shortening the time killers have to 3 hook 4k everyone just to achieve their goal of 2 escapes and 2 sacrifices. They do this totally disregarding the simple rule of mistakes need to be punished and survivors make plenty of them while in a trial.
So you can take a seat asking for a mori nerf and add a different perspective to your biased views.
1 -
Ivory mori is fine where it is... ebony mori should be after second hook.
0 -
What they should really do is make them more interesting.
As in... when the killer initiates the mori the killer and survivor experience a series of skill checks (however many necessary with the needle going faster each time) and first one to miss a skill check is the loser. If its the killer then the survivor escapes (doing some neat animation like kicking the killer in the face xD) and if its the killer then the mori carries on as normal. I would like that and it would give survivors a chance to get away and prolong the game.

I am a killer main, just recently changed from survivor and I realized exactly what needed to be changed:
- Keys and Mori’s need nerfs and reworks
- Toolboxes are broken af and need changes
- Maps need to be optimized so every killer is viable on every map
- So in conclusion the Mori’s, toolboxes and keys all need to be changed at the same time and Maps need to slowly be optimized
2 -
Keys are the most broken item in the game. 3 people can escape without finishing the gens, which is absolutely busted.
2 -
Very specific conditions must be met. For three people to escape that means all but one gen was finished. lol
2 -
If 4 survivors die to a Mori, chances are they were dead from the start.
1 -
Yea and that’s broken; it should never happen. The survivor objective is to finish 5 gens. Not 4.
2 -
Far from it. If the survivors are mori'd on first hook that's about 1/3rd of your objective as killer. If survivors escape with 5gens done that's basically all their objective done.
2 -
I think no matter what this game will have bias and these arguments (as pointless as they are) will never stop.
0 -
The survivor objective is to survive. It's why they're called survivors. They are supposed to do gens in order to survive just like killers are supposed to hook (sacrifice) survivors but there are exceptions to both those things.
Survivors get a key to give them a chance to get through a hatch.
Killers get moris to allow them to kill survivors after one hook. Eboni lets them kill every survivor in the game this way. And... killers get the entity at EGC to kill survivors for them. And if we want to we can even say killers get a kill via bleed-out when they can't find a survivor they left down.
So survivors get one alternative to their end goal and killers have three. Hmm.
1 -
I am also for a mori change. Not because I think they need a change, but...
... Honestly the waiting times for survivors are not long enough yet.
I just lean back on my chair, read the killer nerfs that will probably going on and smile while I read threads from survivors who complain about longer and longer... waiting times for a match :).
And there the people say dbd would make no fun anymore^^.

Right after both keys are nerfed, and DS is actually an anti tunnel perk instead of a superman perk.
2 -
I like the Moris, and rarely ever see them in a match anymore. They're more entertaining to die to than just mashing a button praying the hook won't kill you. Some of the killer moris are brutal and way better to die to! Why can't people seriously just enjoy the game for what it is instead of constantly demanding it be made worse, to only lower the amount of people who already don't play killer?
