- he doesn't have the absurd pick/kill ratio of freddy, bubba and spirit
- you people are just salty you can't feel superior with your magnificent looping and juking skills against him.

This is a good change. Freddy just spamming snares around a loop like Clown and still having 20 other powers at his disposal was dumb.
Spirit and Nurse still exist if you want to fight and beat the strongest set of survivors, you just actually have to think and dedicate learning them instead of just shutting your brain off with Freddy.

Really the only nerf that they really needed to give him was reducing his lunge range, it's ridiculous. Freddy Krueger, the man with the mile-long lunge.

The changes aren't really that big of a deal. Snares are just as effective as before, they just require more skill to use correctly at loops. The only thing is that while it does make Freddy take a bit more skill to use, he's still nowhere near the skill level of other killers.
Freddy is more hurt by the BT change honestly as it means he can't guarantee free downs at unhooks.

Hag and Trapper have to stop and set their trap while Clown has to aim and has limited ammo count. Freddy needs a kick in the groin cause his traps were as thoughtless as his entire kit. He's not as easy as Wraith or Bubba, but his reward for how easy he is to play was so lop sided it'd make your head tilt.

they simply made it so you no longer have slowdown Add Ons (great change) and that he cant just keep spamming snares around a loop to catch a survivor (or at least they reduced its effectiveness).

Freddy's addons were already pretty garbage before the changes. The action speed actions were one of his best addons, but they weren't even that good since their values were gutted. Sure you could combine it with Thana and Sloppy and add some extra time to those actions, but most of the work was being done by Thana and Sloppy.

I hate this nerf because it didn't fix what was wrong with Freddy. The problem was never that Freddy was strong, it was that he was strong and boring.
Instead of making his power more skillful and fun to interact with for both sides, they nerfed him into being a bland mid tier killer.
Not to mention they didn't give us a way to play as Old Freddy.

Her power is fine. Survivors just want to use the same trick to counter every single killer. Pallet looping. Her bugs need fixing but the devs won't do that because that will increase the number of nurse players. Survivors will ######### then they will have to find ways to balance her. Which they cant. They CAN fix her bugs. They just dont want too.

Because every survivor wants to spend 100+ seconds fixing a single generator, only to have braindead Freddy teleport and pop the generator.

i think most of what they did is fine. I play freddy some and i never ran his slowdown add ons because you can 4k without them it just drags the game out longer. The change to his anti loop is fine, if you are using them effectively you place maybe two. Most of the time just faking a snare causes the survivor to leave the loop. i like the add on to the alarm clock that gives survivors a way to block sleep for a little bit before unhooking. I do agree losing BT is crucial in some games ive played. Other than that good job BHVR i think this will work just fine.

Swing Chains at max gave 8% action reduction to all survivors and with the green rope it's 11% action speed. It's very minor slowdown even if you keep all survivors in the dream world. Not to mention the first minute of the match still happens without any slowdown.

I would've been fine with everything else, but slowing down to use your power FEELS BAD. Freddy not slowing to lay traps was the hope that other guys, like Plague or Executioner might some day be able to use their powers at normal speed. With that being nerfed, those hopes are gone forever. Feels bad.

I just wanted them to follow through with what they originally said and make him take more skill to play, instead it's just a basic ######### nerf like they always do. Freddy was always mediocre vs good survivors now he might actually be weaker than clown with these changes. As someone who hated how easy Freddy was to score kills with I think these changes are terrible. He is still brain dead easy to play only now he is just weak af. Also seriously nerfing PALLET Freddy, why, just why?
