You started off your post saying you needed to defend Mandy. Even though you start off that end sentence saying you don't think anyone was blaming Mandy you kinda contradict yourself with the "but if you are... " It's like saying something offensive but following up with "no offense" and expecting people not to be offended/become defensive.
I was clarifying that no one has blamed Mandy for BHVRs lack of response because it'd suck if she came in to see your comment and starts misinterpreting or second guessing people's frustrations towards BHVR as frustrations towards her when no one is frustrated/blaming her. I don't want Mandy to find offense over things that are not directed at her at all because someone said she needed to be defended while quoting someone just asking for an update and another saying they're hoping for an honest response if it's that last gen is being forgotten.

Even so, I'd like them to come out and say they can't because of higher-ups forbidding it.
At least then we'd know who to go and complain to next.

NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreement) prevent them doing that though. As part of their employment if the higher-ups don't want them saying something they cannot say anything about it, including the fact the higher-ups won't let them say anything. If the higher-ups will only let them say "We're working on it", all they can say is "We're working on it" or stay silent.

Well, I'm committed to this issue.
What do you recommend I do from here? This is kind of similar to what EA and Respawn have done with the original Titanfall. The game is BARELY playable but it is still being sold at full price.

all i can say is keep pushing with threads because there's nothing else to do, unless you're able to visit bhvr hq and personally say why the current state of last-gen console optimisation is unacceptable, and just hope the higher-ups listen :/

I think you're absolutely right here.
Personally, I think this is a giant middlefinger towards their playerbase. I mean, 24 pages, no answer and the silence is deafening. Not a single answer like: "we know the issues, but we're unable to fix them." was enough.

No, because funnily enough I'm not an employee at BHVR interactive- do you see the dev tag??- and so I can't give names and dates and personal information on which company executives there are and every single person with a share in BHVR. I just know about the general structure of companies and how they work.

Ever since the twins chapter dropped performance has taken a massive hit for me, my PC should be more than capable to run DBD yet I still get random frame drops throughout matches which can be really frustrating.
PC specs: Ryzen 5 5600x, 16GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti.

Hines at Bethesda would be an example, who is in charge of PR for them. I don't recall who does that for Behaviour; others will know who does no doubt.
Also I am in no way putting anyone on blast, just giving an example.

Keep seeing articles pop up about how it's in Sony's and game developers best interest to continue to include PS4 in their plans instead of just focusing on PS5. Hopefully BHVR realizes that the pandemic has changed things and that optimizing last gen will not be a wasted effort because so many are not only on the last gen but will be some time before people switch - either do to financial reasons or availibility due to semi-conductor shortages. Here's recent piece I read and couple bits I thought fit in our discussions about how last gen shouldn't be ignored.

A bunch are on Twitter and have the info in their bios. I'd rather not name because feel like there are some in the forums that'd go harass. Also on BHVR website in the About section has the "management team" which are CEO and VPs - most companies list these on their websites if you ever want to know the people at the top.

Idk if I'm just lucky but as a switch player my games are completely fine, no lag or frame drops, but I feel bad for my fellow console players who deal with this.

This is actually beyond frustrating at this point. I love this game so much but I’m literally getting pushed away from it because it’s legit becoming unplayable. The only thing I can think of at this point is starting a change.org petition LMAO

Yesterday when I was playing a match my game froze at the beginning for a second while I was running because someone across the map was hit with sloppy butcher. I was happy I was in middle of running to objective and not on gen with a skill check. I was thinking how it isn't even the status effect popping up on MY screen causing it, the game performance is so bad it freezes for a second when anyone gets that status effect popping up. Almost like it's freezing everyone to make sure it only pops up on one person and that it's the right person. 🤦♀️

It's funny if i can tell that someone across the map used Dead Hard because of the frame drop/screen freeze 😂

Who needs comms when you can have your game freeze instead to tell you the perks players are using. Freeze when hit? Sloppy. Freeze not long after? Survivor is still in chase and has DH equipped.

I legit feel bad when I run dead hard as survivor or sloppy butcher as killer because the amount of times I’ve completely lost someone or been downed due to these two perks is quite insane

I had to go back to the original xbox in order to get a glitch to work and I decided I would play a match. It was so awful and I never remembered it being that bad. Hopefully they improve it because ik exactly how it feels

You know, one would think they'd actually take notice at this point. This is probably one of the longest running threads I've ever seen on the forums, not including pinned discussions (but even then this one exceeds the pinned ones). I know a Mod has responded but I think at this point a BHVR dev needs to respond. With so many people clearly wanting to see this change happen, a statement should be made, I think.

GTX 1060 with a i5 8400 processor, not a computer expert but is that big of a difference between a 1050ti and a 1060? I forgot to mention that I get those 90 fps while playing full screen on ultra settings so there shouldn't be that much difference...

I'm just impressed that this is already 10 pages ahead of the "Wholesome DbD Moments" thread (as of this comment anyway) and that one has been pinned since like October of last year or something.
This thread has only existed since late April 2021 and has already done a pretty good job (so far) of rallying together a lot of current-gen consolers who are unhappy that DbD still runs so poorly. It might not be the biggest thread in the forum's history, but it could be one of the fastest-growing.

Not replying to me but I'll give my experience + specs
1080p monitor (+ 720p secondary one), usually running dbd, youtube, discord, and steam simultaniously with nvidia shadowplay enabled. maybe streamlabs too.
ryzen 7 3700x, gigabyte 6gb gtx 1660 gaming, 32gb ram, 1tb ssd. run the game at 135% resolution at 60fps with everything set to ultra except shadows. usually i can vibe at 60fps, though if i play uncapped it seriously cannot decide on a number between 70 and 144. midwich and nurse like to take my frames and just randomly decide they mean nothing and ill have to play 5fps nurse for about a second (which is fun).
also whenever i close dbd after playing for 2+ hours it bricks my pc for about 2 minutes :D
now if this is the experience with a ryzen 7 3700x and a gtx 1660 (which never goes above 60% usage, about 20% on the cpu) then i really don't wanna imagine what a last-gen console goes through
edit: it's worth noting games like cyberpunk, resident evil village + remake 2, ni no kuni, etc all run perfectly

It's crazy because all of those games are supposedly more intensive than DBD, damn.

Yeah, that's a WAY better rig than mine. 1050 Ti is more of an entry-level card, 1060 is a lot more powerful than it. And the i5 8400 is pretty solid, 2500k is an early 2011 CPU (tho it's not a bad CPU).
