Ban the cheater right in the match.

I suggest improving / removing the old anti-cheat and introducing a new one / adding a new anti-cheat so that when loading the match and in the match itself, the anti-cheat checks the player for the presence of a cheat? A teleporter? Iron ban . Vh? Iron ban . Yes, I understand that it will be difficult to do this, but in any case, even I, as an honest player in my favorite game, have a choice - To continue playing like this, not knowing that you will get a cheat with bx against you ( you will not understand that the player has bx , since there is no in order to recognize this) and try to farm the characters endlessly , or go spend a conditional $ 5-15 on a cheat on vh , thereby playing with it and never getting banned , since the anti-cheat currently only works from player reports.

you realise this could be used to brute force the anticheat's parameters and then circumvent them, right?
that's why cheaters are banned in waves, and not in direct response to an action they perform.

If cheaters are banned instantly it makes it much easier for them to figure out what caused them to be detected and patch their cheats to prevent detection. So while it might feel nice in the short term to see a cheater get the hammer instantly, it would inevitably result in the total amount of cheaters you see being higher since it would be much easier to make undetectable cheats

A hardware ban means that the game cannot be installed on this computer, either on steam or epic.

the best thing is a ban for any program change.

hardware bans are not perfect. They can be circumvented.

I repeat, any change in numbers from the norm is a permanent ban. Is the survivor using a higher-than-normal dash speed? BAN . It 's really simple , the only thing that's hard to ban is for WH . It's very easy to get banned for speed and stuff - it's just that developers don't want to do it / it's not profitable for them to do it. Other games have this, so why do they give a damn about cheaters?

Without going into too much detail, we only wish it was as simple as you have said here - if it was, we would have done this long ago. Unfortunately it's not, and it's nothing to do with profit - we are as frustrated with cheaters as our players are. As we've said before, it's an arms race, we fix things, they find ways to circumvent, then we fix again, and so on and so forth. Cheating on online games will likely always be a thing, all games seem to have pretty much the same issues with cheats, it's an unfortunate fact on playing online. This doesn't mean we stop our efforts to prevent them however, on the contrary.

One of the biggest problems DBD has is that cheaters can force cheats on other players. With instant bans, cheaters could force a teleport on innocent players and get those innocent players banned.

You should reward players who had to put up with the cheater like bonus BP and XP post match in your mailbox.

As long as cheater is not trying to frame me to be banned, and i dont see them too often, i dont mind them… those are petty people that shows me my life is much better than some others.

that actually can't happen, whilst yes they can make the character appear to others to be cheating - on our side we can see it clearly so that does not get an innocent person banned.

That is good to know and thank you for the feedback even if I did know that preventing cheating is always uphill battle and would never claim that this games devs would not care about banning cheaters.

That's great to know, and quite a comfort. Thank you for the correction.
