Adding a Ban feature in higher mmr lobbies,

Idea is literally what it says. As someone who is trying to get into survivor, I can say in the game's past and current states killer has always been more fun and one sided. Obviously we're going to have those games with the sweaty p100 swfs but not every lobby is going to be like that. So why do the survivor buffs and nerfs always cater to these higher mmr players when majority of the playerbase isnt even up there? What I'm getting at is that I want to play survivor but it is honestly so hard to have fun no matter the build. Not only can whole survivor loadouts be counters by a measly 1 perk by the killer, there are also add-ons each with different abilities that can range from haste, information, etc. I would like to see a voting feature before the trial starts to ban certain killers. For example The Ghoul, sorry not sorry, he is not fun to play against. He looks fun to play don't get me wrong but having to play against him almost every other game is simply so boring. It's even worse when you see the "nerfs" brought to him, sure they're noticeable but like everyone else is saying there needs to be more. The amount of players leaving this game to take a break is more than likely because of this infinite cycle. Adding a ban system at the start of the trial could keep players more engaged and to balance it out we can have the killer ban a couple perks or something. I'm simply starting the idea you guys can branch on it. Just to let you know i'm not going to be reading these comments.

Pretty bad idea, most of this game is DLC and it would make no sense to purchase something and then not be able to play it because everyone had it on a ban list. Kaneki is an awful Killer, but that doesn't meant hat Kaneki players should never be able to find a match since most people would have it banned, it means that BHVR should actually balance the game.

However, BHVR has no interest in actually balancing the game and so players are stuck with what we are stuck with, a subpar asymm game built off the back of established IP's with a priority for DLC instead of community. Oh well, is what it is.

Banning in asymm games will not work for 99% of times, the reason it works in other PvP games is because both side takes same hit, you are missing the purpose of it

    How it would works »

    Ban killers.

    Wait 3 hours on queue.

Come to forum cry that you cant find a match.

    Good job.

No bans would only cause queue issues. Plus how would you like it if you bought a DLC and barely got to play that character?

If your entire build gets countered by a single killer perk you have a very one trick build and its your fault for putting all your eggs into one basket. Besides, killer perks HAVE to be far stronger than survivor perks, because its a 1v4 game and you have 4x the amount of perks between you.

And certain killer builds can also be easily countered by single perk of survivors, which is like 1 out of 16 slots rather than 1 out of 4 of killers

Sooo, will killers got to ban survivor perks and if you have it in your loadout, then you won't match with them?
Because there are definetly perks that counter specific killers.

It's definetly good way how to completely screw queue times. So nope
