Dead by Daylight x The Evil Within – Chapter Concept (PDF attached)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a chapter concept I’ve been working on for a while now:
Dead by Daylight x The Evil Within.

The Evil Within is my favorite horror game of all time, and the more I thought about it, the more I felt that its themes would fit perfectly into Dead by Daylight – especially from a psychological horror and map-control perspective.

What’s included in the attached PDF:

  • A full Killer concept (The Keeper) with a unique power focused on map control and pressure
  • Killer perks designed around fear, positioning, and information denial
  • A Survivor concept (Sebastian Castellanos) with info-based perks
  • A detailed map idea called STEM Fragments, built to stay fully DBD-compatible (2D layout, aura readability, proper rotations)

The goal was not to create an overpowered killer or gimmicky mechanics, but something that:

  • fits DBD’s design philosophy
  • feels fair for both SoloQ and SWF
  • and still captures the identity of The Evil Within

Transparency

About 80% of the ideas come directly from me.
The structuring, refinement, and some design feedback were done with the help of ChatGPT, and the concept images/mockups were generated the same way (I’m not an artist 😅).

I’m not expecting anything from this – I just wanted to share the concept with the community and see what people think.
