The Continued Ignorance of Performance Issues Continues to Hamper Player Fun

pretty sure there's actually no console fog whisperers

Wouldn't be a good idea to advertize your terrible optimization, right? 🤣

The only people that would do that would be some trolls on twitter.

Better Optimization should be a thing the majority of the community agrees on

I though I read somewhere there was one on PS4, and the rest PC. I asked Mandy about it and they did not know their platforms. So they very likely are all on PC.

For the purpose of getting and handing out codes, auric cells, and the like it seems they can only do this through Steam, plus the PTB's run through there as well. All of which lends me to think console is and always had been an afterthought in all that they do.

Now that all together consolers outnumber PCrs, they suddenly have problems that they likely never wanted or intended to ever have to act on imo.

Your voice carries weight with the community even if it doesn't directly with the devs, as does all of the larger content creators of whatever quality.

From what I've seen of your videos over the years (aside from playing lots & lots of killer) you are passionate about this game, it's current state, and it's future.

So are we, and just recently we have attempted to band together in gathering support to the actual performance of this game outside of NASA-strength gamer PC rigs, which should not be a requirement to run a 5 year old game well in our opinion.

I've heard in your vids you let out the occasional comment about lags here, microfreezes there, and frame drops everydangwhere. Other creators comment on those as they occur in their vids too, but no one i know of has dedicated an entire effort to game performance as a talking point.

These problems are much more pronounced on the consoles and lower-end PCs, in particular the prior gen systems that like 85% of us are still on.

I and many here would appreciate you considering our cause. Ty

Here's hoping he'll want to help us out. Think it would be good coming from big content creator that not only played on console but reason they left console was performance was not as good as pc.

Well, about 35 pages now, I think it's fair to say we've past the last optimisation mega thread. And Whoopi do we got ######### all in feedback

I used to play at 60 fps on high, now I literally cannot run that on low so I am forced to cap at 30 fps if I want a playable experience.

Freezes like these (whilst attacking) have caused me to bump into corners with Bubba.

Needless to say I don't miss playing DBD. After around 5k hours in DBD I have now fully switched to Destiny.

I will still be active on the forums and see if something changes for the better but as long as the game runs like actual poop I will not touch it.
