man i hate this game
In my first match today…
Ace was getting tunneled so badly, yet the people in charge of this game somehow think we don’t need an anti-haemorrhagic add-on, and we don’t need any real anti-slugging or anti-tunneling update either. #DeadbyDaylight #dbd @DeadbyDaylight
Imagine being Ace…
In every game, you’re getting tunneled so badly. And every time there’s a batch or update you think for a moment the game might give you justice but nope.
Instead, they buff the killers’ power, reduce the pallets, remove the most important add-ons, and weaken the best perks.
For real… do you think Ace will continue playing this game? What is he even enjoying exactly?

While it is a shame that the addon is going away, but you have to admit that it was broken that it got rid of exhaustion a lot, also, the pallet density was WAY too Survivor sided, idk how it looks now, but that's 1 thing they shouldn't have touched at all bc it was fine the way it was, also, for the best perks, yeah they gonna unfortunately get nerfed or adjusted, it's something that's always been done regardless of which side has been affected

they could’ve just made that add-on take longer… like 35 seconds or more, but kept everything else the same.
and honestly, with 4 survivors, loops and pallets are supposed to be everywhere you will get chased 3 times. but yeah, I get it… some loops were too long and definitely needed to be shortened.
the game is literally designed for the killer to chase you three times — first hook, second hook, then death hook. you’ll be chased three times, and each chase you’ll use around 3 to 5 pallets. and that’s just you alone. there are four survivors, so… do the math.

We're going to fix tunneling!
- Deletes best add-on to counter tunneling. I used this add-on almost exclusively to help people who were being tunneled. I rarely ever used it on myself.
- Heavily nerfs a top anti tunnel perk (not even 60 seconds like DS lmao)
- Makes loops terrible and makes it easier to tunnel
It's honestly hilarious how bad it is. The devs didn't just cancel the new systems. They made tunneling SIGNIFICANTLY stronger by removing some of the best ways to counter it. I am just fully checked out at this point. None of this is ever going to get better and I would rather just not play the game at all.

The fact that im getting downvoted makes it seem like survivor mains hate when they get any new or great toys taken away but praise when killers get screwed, idk if that's how it really is, but this just shows the it isn't just the devs so disconnected with the fan base, but also the fan base themselves so disconnected with themselves, always blaming 1 side or another regardless, first is was ghoul being too op, then the pallet density change, and when survivors got massively favored by the games own dev team, survivors love it while killers hate it and when it gets balanced out, suddenly the entire survivors (or some of it) gets toxic about it, like, WHY!? Don't you want the game to be balanced and fair for ALL sides?

The game has not been survivor sided since pre call of brine eruption meta. Its been killer sided since that meta shake up for the average user base. It may only be survivor sided in the top echelon of players but they’re only 10% of the playerbase so bhvr shouldn’t be balancing the game around the top 10%.

me and a friend tried to play one match now after the update. We gave up after one match. He got tunneled out with 4 gens left. Then I am left to play a whole match on my own with randoms because we cant go next. We should be able to go next in those scenarios. Why force me to play a match that is already lost? it would be different with one gen left but 4? no. I wont turn on the game until next 2v8

Yeah left this game years ago came back and jesus I didn't think it could get worse. But yeah as soon as I saw they made it impossible to play survivor now and how the pallets are still got it through them also with how fast the killers now and there perks oh yeah no. Going back to Texas Chainsaw massacre. There are much better games out their like Evil dead. Empire Total War game is almost there is no reason playing this anymore

Need to stop ignoring the fact that the game can be over less than 4 minutes from the start. The killer can't outpace gen completion by spreading hooks. Every complaint about "tunneling" in the games current version is completely near-sighted and self centered.
