Feedback on the perk Vigil
40% ( this is the actual value ) on 8 different status effects while having a 16 meter AOE around you and lingering for 15 seconds on teamates and the hinder debuff applying to basekit killer powers is way to stacked . They should at the very least make it 30% and remove the hinder debuff part if they are unable to stop it from affecting killer powers such as nemmy , freddy and clown . Add dimishing returns to exaustion recovery and this way you could even buff ghost notes to 25 or 30% exaustion recovery . Also it would allow for future perks similar to vigil to exist in the future if diminishing returns are in place. As is this perks just does too much with no pre requirement .

Remove the ability to effect exhaustion and killer powers and it will still be an amazing perk as it counters everything that isn't gen regression or aura reading

countering debuffs and also shortening perk cooldowns makes vigil two perks in one

I'd like the value to increase depending on the number of injured players. It should function similarly to Desperate Measures.

What? Have you ever played survivor before? Almost none of the effects come into play enough for it to matter. It's like saying calm spirit is strong because someone may play doctor. It would instantly become a D tier perk no one uses.

Vigil was considered a bad perk that no one used when it was only a 25% reduction, 30% reduction will probably be the same. I could see a small reduction to like 35% instead of 40% but mainly I think the only thing vigil needs is for killer powers affected by it to be considered their own status effect like ghost faces mark. If clowns bottle instead inflicted "intoxicated" and intoxicated had the same effect as hinder for example.

I don't think it would in all honesty it completely ruins any killer builds that decide to run off meta the sheer amount of times I have been saved because my deliverance / STB / friends till the end downsides went away sooner is baffling. The only reason why people feel vigil is so insane because it gives you and your teammates in a radius the best perks back in almost half the time.

Dude, no one's going to bring a perk that has value maybe one in every fifty games. There's a reason why no one brings stuff like calm spirit even if it's great against scream builds. When people make posts like this they need to think about both sides of the game when balancing stuff otherwise they just end up looking silly.

Calm spirit is a bad example. I genuinely think vigil would be great without affecting exhaustion because for the killers side it affects Friends (7.24%), Sloppy (6.63%), Gift of pain (3.34%), Mindbreaker (2.11%), Starstruck (1.44%), Ultimate Weapon (1.40%), Nemesis (1.27%), Hubris (1.21%), Alien Instinct (1.12%), Make Your Choice (0.86%), so you will still get value every so often. However you can still get value literally every match if you bring some of the strongest perks in the game such as Deliverance, Shoulder the Burden, and Dramaturgy.
Edit: fixed the bad math also if the exhaustion on it doesn't get nerfed it should at least have the part where it stacks removed.

This… This is not how statistics work at all.

I might be dumb but at least I tried and that's what matters

Vogils problem is it has zero counterplay

… That's… not how any of that works at all. How about this. You go and play like five games with vigil and no exhaustion perks and tell me how many times it was actually useful.

Except you know, exhaustion perks.

My main build atm is Botany Vigil STB and Lithe even if I don't end up getting a bunch of vigil value on lithe I still get tons of value from the significantly lower exposed timer.
Also I edited out the bad math dw I realized that it was really wrong a bit late lol and yeah removing the exhaustion part is a bit unreasonable but at the very least it shouldn't transfer to allies.

I could see that as a fair nerf. And yes, vigil does sometimes help with exposed timers but it's not consistent enough to be worth bringing like ever if that's all it does.

i think atvl it needs to be reverted. honestly im not even sure why it was buffed in the first place. its a very solid perk

Because it did next to nothing pre buffs.

should just be reverted back to 30%

It needs to be dropped to around 40% imo. I would still like it to remain a bit stronger than the old version which was at 30% but the current version is just way too much, makes SB too readily available and makes too many perks/addons not worth using which feels awful for build variety especially when probably 95% of builds that use Vigil are primarily using it for exhaustion and not the other stuff. Overall it's too strong for an effect that is both entirely passive and also works on teammates.

i sometimes have chases with 2 SB uses against weaker killers when i use vigil, it's ridiculous
