My Wishlist Patch Notes
A list of changes I'd like to see. Don't read too much into the numbers other than whether they're big or small.
The idea behind many of these ideas is to adjust where certain killers are specifically too good at slugging (instead of basekit antislug) or frankly just annoying. Oni and SM are general comments from having played them a lot.
The perk changes are either neat little buff ideas, or nerfing perks to make them healthier (like Pain Res).
I have missed a lot of things I'd love to see nerfed, especially on survivor, like Deliverance, Resurgence, Vigil but I don't have ideas and this post is already long enough.
Killer Changes
General
- 25% bloodpoint bonus for each fresh hook (like old BBQ without forcing people to bring a perk)
Singularity
- Survivors lose Slipstreamed when downed
- You can cancel a fully charged EMP (cf. Huntress putting away her hatchet)
Nurse
- No auras while charging blink
- Reduced walking speed
- Slight buff to charge recovery (to encourage actually using power)
Billy
- Chainsaw downing a survivor disables overdrive for a short duration.
- Hooking a survivor removes this cooldown.
Michael
- Downs consume some power
- Special pallet breaks have a slightly longer cooldown and/or consume some power duration.
Pig
- Trap searches now have progress checkpoints
Wesker
- Infection progresses at half rate while in chase.
Oni
- Revert flicks and give Console support for KBM or make inputs different for controller
- tl;dr Most oni addons suck - merge duplicate pairs of bad addons and rework the lower tier
- Rework Polished Maedate, Blackened Toenail, Rotting Rope
- Buff Shattered Wakizashi, Bloody Sash, Child's Wooden Sword to also include the amount of the reworked addons above
- Rework Chipped Saihai
- Rework Paper Lantern and add its old effect to the buffed Rotting Rope
- Buff or rework Tear Soaked Tenugui (this addon is outclassed by even blue duration)
Skull Merchant - tbh I just want SM 2.0 back.
- Recalling a hacked Drone no longer provides undetectable.
- Stealth Drones are back.
- Stealth Drones beep intermittently (cf. Xeno turrets at long distance)
- Rotating stealth drones has a 5 second cooldown.
- Hacked drones indicate more obviously that they're about to rearm, with a visual and audio cue/countdown.
- Two scan lines with a slower rotation speed.
- Adriana is no longer silent.
Survivor Changes
- All survivors share the same match result (win or lose) - 3 or 4 escape = all win, 0 or 1 escape = all lose. This discourages letting team die and ratting for hatch.
- All survivors gain bonus BP equal to a certain % of the BPs earned by their teammates (33%?).
- Killer grasp rescues are now a Conspicuous action (e.g. would disable DS)
- Basekit BT is 10 seconds.
Killer Perks
- Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance - Deactivates when a survivor dies.
- No Way Out - No longer gains stacks after a survivor dies.
- Hex: Thrill of the Hunt - decrease the slow by 1%
- Infectious Fright - 20 second cooldown.
- Game Afoot - hooking the obsession resets the accumulated chase time for that survivor, to allow it to more quickly switch to someone else. (Discourages tunneling the same obsession all game)
- Dying Light - Total Rework - for every token, all survivors have a 3% gen repair slowdown. Gain a token for hooking someone not hooked previously. Hooking someone twice in a row loses you two tokens. No longer gain tokens when a survivor dies.
- Surveillance - also applies a moderate repair speed penalty on generators in the regressing state (when the fizzling 5% line is visible)
- Awakened Awareness - 2 second linger on aura reading (like in Wesker PTB)
Survivor Perks
Perk Buffs/Reworks
- Repressed Alliance - perk user can choose to end the effect early
- Rookie Spirit - touching a regressing gen also gives you a large repair speed boost for a very short duration (e.g. 50% for 2 secs). 20 second cooldown.
- Boon: Illumination - now shows the progress of gens.
- Solidarity - healing progress no longer regresses due to hemorrhage
- Reactive Healing - healing progress no longer regresses due to hemorrhage
- Better Together - no longer shows gen aura. Now shows your aura and anyone else working on gen with you.
- Open Handed or a new perk - Share your aura reading with all survivors within a short distance of you (8m)
- Desperate Measures - Reduce healing speed in general, but increase healing speed for downed, hooked and dead survivors (more of an anti slug/tunnel without being too strong in general).
- Off the Record - slightly longer duration (60 secs?) but deactivates when full health
Perk Nerfs
- We're Gonna Live Forever - Revert to old activation with protection hit/unhook with zero cooldown.
- We'll Make It - 45 second duration.
- Plot Twist - no longer increases recovery speed
- Decisive Strike - Stun duration scales with number of remaining gens. Longest stun at 5 gens left.
- OR Disabled when full health
- OR Cannot activate if someone else is hooked
- Sprint Burst - shorter duration, less haste or longer exhaustion, please anything..
Customisation Options
- Hook screams now have a toggle/volume slider
Audio Accessibility
- Visual indicators for all global audio cues e.g. Oni starting and stopping power, Plague grabbing power, Michael tiering up, Billy overdrive, Twins releasing Victor etc

Pig deserves it. Her traps encourage degenerate gameplay and as long as that's possible, she can never receive a real buff.

Killer PerksScourge Hook: Pain Resonance- Deactivates when a survivor dies.you know we can only use this 4 times a match? And is RNG based. Theres situations where we can't hook on painress once cause all are on one side or on one floor…

Nurse
It's boring being walked down by a nurse. I want the strongest killer in the game to use her power. I suggested a charge recovery buff to compensate.
You could also give her a dynamic walking speed: If she blinked recently she has her current walk speed, but after time spent not blinking she slows down.
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance
Despite that, it's one of the best killer perks and has the highest pickrate. My issue is the strongest killers can tunnel someone out and then have an easy 3v1 that's enabled by perks like Pain Res. The game would be more interesting if perks like Pain Res forced you to decide between a tunnel out or your Pain Res tokens.
No surv team would take an early death to deny Pain Res - if it was beneficial (like 1 gen left) then the killer should lose anyway, because why did it take you that long to get a kill when you have Pain Res available?
They could buff the numbers but I don't think it'll be needed. Also at least 10 survivor perks should be nerfed imo, so I think this would be fair.

You do know that survivor running speed is 4.0m/s? Nurse's as said is 3.85m/s so she is slower than you so if you get caught by her moving normally either you played really badly or she is using one of the add-ons that make her faster with limitations like she can't blink while being faster. So in those cases she is using her power that is modified by the add-ons.
Pain Resonance power is not in the regeression but in the fact how it combines with other perks. Nerfing it will not be the right choice as it will still not effect those perks that it combos with that are in reality stronger than it.

Killers don't need nerfs, survivors do. I can see some base game slowdown reward for hooking as a good way to make game more fun.

to your point for pain res. Dont nerf the perk, make restrictions on the strongest killers just like blight whould have gotten less benefits with the anti tunnel thing. and to the nuse again, she already has to use her power 3.8 is slower than the survivor bas speed
