I don't think he's talking about securing a measly kill

It's just throwing fuel on the fire of the epidemic of cheaters who keep their cheating confined to things that can't be proven to BHVR in gameplay footage.

I'm honestly kind of more worried about the legions of subtle hackers out there with auto-deadhards. Automatic deadhards are kind of just annoying right now since an auto-deadhard in the open is much less impactful than a proper dead hard for distance into a vault/pallet. But post change any subtle hacker can just turn on…

That bit there, "Until we see it, it could literally be anything" is entirely the problem. There shouldn't be any guessing here. That's a problem in and of itself. We have the most problematic perk in the game and nobody knows if it's actually nerfed or just sidegraded. We have a high likelihood that the meta-shifting…

Survivors slaughtered killers in the perk changes department with the DH changes being so milquetoast that there is debate that it might actually have actually been buffed, BT becoming basekit, and DS simply being superseded by off the record. Meanwhile the most popular…

The new Corrupt should probably stay active until the first HOOK instead of the first dying state.

Here's the thing, we shouldn't need testing for this. Dead Hard was THE most oppressive perk in the entire game. THE perk most deserving of being crushed by a nerf so that metas could be shaken up. However the change to dead hard is one that leave sufficient room for debate to be had about whether it was even a nerf or if…
