Is it random? Does your pc meet minimum specs? Does it some times freeze before closing?
-
It's not just with Linux... EAC is crashing the game/gpu for us Windows users too.
-
As long as survivors have "walkie talkies"... i will never have a problem with a all seeing killer "gifted by the entity".
-
Think what you like. If you are over 18 it's your responsibility and no one else's to be educated and to know law. "ignorantia juris non excusat". Anyways, i don't need a block feature... like others i am done talking to you.

"If you honestly think a crime is being committed, report it to the police or go to your district attorney and try to get a restraining order against your perpetrator. Even in places with the strictest of laws, actions in DbD cannot be construed as crimes. Getting tunneled, camped, smacked on hook and even the most furious…

Knowledge of a weakness within the designed parameters of a game you both have agreed to do is not even comparable (Not even remotely)... People sign up to play a game, not to listen/read personnel abuse or to be targeted outside designed parameters. Anyways, this is drifting away from the original point of the thread and…
-
Totally inaccurate. People choose to play a video game... not get abused or harassed by a individual... and a individual is not "a video game". It is why most game developers used to mark online play as "Multiplayer/Online activity/gameplay is not rated/monitored", as the game producers are stating that human activity…

lol Tabbing out of a game instantly makes the game not worth playing, but thank you anyways. Il use my phone and time my next gen, other than that, there is no point in putting any additional physical effort, i cant even be bothered to report flying hackers i bump into nowadays as i will be spending more time reporting…
-
Make a list of questionable players... "Abusers", "Hackers" etc... See them in a lobby, leave it. You have the final say on who you socialise and play with.
-
Need to get me a stopwatch.
-
Correct. I have said it many times and i will say it again... They should implement a feature that if a survivor joins any game other than clicking "find game/start" whilst solo... They should add a 2% penalty speed to repair and healing actions and counter it with a 2% BP bonus. As if a survivor is doing anything other…
-
Nah, people are not even bothering with toolboxes or perks as much as prior to this patch. As a killer i am noticing that often a solo survivor with zero toolbox or repair perks are completing a gen from scratch in about a minute quite often (This may be a software, however i am not going to jump to that gun just yet). As…

Have you actually sat there and timed it?

The Knight The worst killer in the game. 75% of addons are complete garbage and are way too circumstantial. Power is WAY too time consuming. A knight player that frequently uses the power will always be watching survivors escaping. The AI is complete garbage. They pointlessly move towards last seen location before…

Problem resolved itself by simply restarting machine used.
-
Of course you can, it's simple maths. You draw a line between peak and now and you get the mean, progress and trending direction. In this scenario... Without those "big jumps" (patches), the game would simply be in a even worst state with even lower players... that is literately all. Until a peak beats the current highest…
-
They need to expedite. @ Behaviour - Expand allowed matchmaking categories urgently. As it stands, the game is unplayable 20 hours a day for me in UK, i am cooking meals whilst waiting to be matched and typing out forum posts... That is unacceptable...
-
Not true... Patch release to now, 68k players (Patch release) to 36k players (Today). Also, here is peak playerbase (105k players) to now (36k players). Those lines distinctly go down...

As a 3D modeller i question why your graphics are not on ultra...
-
Hey it's good old times when you do the crouching dance in sync at a generator... personally i am a fan of the bee hive manoeuvre... whilst fixing generators, one has a quick break to do some rapid squatting and then gets back to repairing... everyone else on the gen then takes a break and does the same amount of rapid…
-
I think survivors have had enough perks turned into basekit...
-
Nah. It's roughly the same as before... luck + Skill = escape. Just had a game solo with 3 other solo's, we kept getting a person of the hook with a camping bubba on all gens done, but it always meant someone is going to get hooked in this specific scenario. The new update actually helps tackle campers. I actually think in…
-
I press M1 when they press E... i immediately press M1 after the first M1 cooldown and they are down... that's the new Dead Hard... it buys them the equivalent of a missed swing. Now that might be more viable on the older quicker generators and fast healing... but coinciding with the extra gen times and slower healing...…

Funny + Sad don't positively mix. Like i said, i don't use it... but if they nerfed a perk i actually used/liked i would not be happy... especially if it becomes almost useless. No amount of numbers, famous YouTubers or bad players are going to change my mind... they went too hard on the nerf.
-
That is the point of my thread... but don't forget... "no it s totally fine that the perk is dead."...
-
Here is a actual scenario that just happend... I just hooked someone and the gates have just been opened... I now proximity camp the hook. Survivor comes along and tries to unhook, i grab them and throw them on the floor, another comes along and tries the same thing immediately after i dropped the survivor, i get another…
-
No perk should be nerfed to near useless... None... Especially old long existing perks.
-
If anyone was struggling downing survivors using old dead hard... i would say it's not the survivors skill that is questionable. As for the other excuse of "it bought them enough time for such and such"... that's also gone in this patch... Killers have got more time now. They did not need to obliterate the perk... they…

It's called MMM... Manual Match Making...

It did when behaviour took money for him and people ground them out...

Replace SB with overcome and you get a SB that doesn't need timing/charging.

If a new survivor character drops... and i do not have the immediate ability to grind the perks i have ALREADY unlocked via levelling to 40 or via the shrine in the new character's blood web "because i have only prestiged one survivor"... i have thrown shards down the drain and was manipulated or lied to... as i am going…
-
But they would be unlocked in the new characters bloodwebs right? And if so, where is the mechanic to show what is available!? If not... i was lied to and i have to do even more grinding on characters i already unlocked access to those perks... also if not... i have spent thousands in shards...
-
Shhhh They buffed one of the perks i frequently used...
-
I wouldn't know... Been matchmaking for 10 minutes... they have the BP bonus as well... and apparently "if they have a bloodpoint bonus, they will have quicker matchmaking". Just closed down the game.
-
I should of said 2nd chance perks to be honest... i mean i am exaggerating a bit, but 99% of the people i played with would run BT + DH... Killers are now not going to let survivors run away with a long endurance effect that will be used to protect another down... that's why i think endurance will either die as a meta or…

It's hammertime!

Zero. I feel you. Bloody skins are not worth losing everything else for. I just P1ed all my low perked killers... the rest i have left. When the patch hits i will have every perk for every killer unlocked at tier 3. Patience is a virtue.
-
My previous post is beginning to look less far fetched... either that or a request i have been making for years is finally getting realised... either one is giving me tingles of anticipation... Ooh Behaviour... you big teases...
-
I only have 900 hours of gameplay. I will own every killer perk on all killers at tier 3. Downside is survivors... all my survivors are level 40 except my Ash (Main), he already has every perk at tier 3. But i have no point in playing any other survivor, other than minor size, sound (soon to be changed) and cosmetics...…
-
I am only interested in the perks. Addons, Items and cosmetics come second. I believe i have now maximised my returns, as currently getting to P3 from P0 in the time available is impossible.
-
Well the deed is done. I own all killers. Every killer that had under 170 perk tiers is now P1, the others i have left. Going by what is planned... i should own every perk on every killer and at perk tier 3 when the update goes live. Since i will own all perks i should only be seeing items/addons and it will give me a…
-
Thanks folk, i know it's groundhog day questions, but it just occurred to me that sitting on lvl 50 p0 on every killer when the patch hits may not be a ideal situation for me and i could maximise my returns. Basically all my killers that have barely hit 50 i should P1 now and those that have pages of purple perks i should…

I'll give you horror... https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/333919/chapter-suggestion-the-thing

Yes... which means a squad of survivors take longer overall to get traps off... taking traps off means not doing gens, the first survivor will be quick, the rest will be slower. Hence the "increased gen time + the trap disarming time giving the killer more time to kill the survivors." statement i made... "12 total boxes to…

A stretch... But a healthy one.

That is not what Otz is talking about. The "RNG" was implemented long ago. Otz is talking about the increased gen time + the trap disarming time giving the killer more time to kill the survivors. Personally i think it's a welcomed addition to Pig who suffers in her default ability and is often a boring killer. As someone…

To get the Endurance effect over early rather than when you are in a tight scenario. It's exactly what i will be doing to prevent a wannabe hero blocking another survivor going down later. Once that short base BT is over... it's hit time. Or if the base BT cancels the off the record endurance... insta hit time.
