If you are not willing to camp, you are not willing to tunnel. If you are not willing to tunnel, you are not willing to slug. That means you are just a basic killer who picks people up and hooks them which creates no pressure whatsoever. Half these survivor mains don't ever play killer and if they did they would be…
-
If you are playing to win? It's one of the best things you can do. An early basement hook is game ending on some killers. At 1 gen left you will just get screwed by the second chance perks. There's no reason to wait. I don't just stand there but I will patrol nearby gens and then tunnel them off hook. I think trading 2-3…
-
So, if the guy is going into like 50 games as perkless / addonless clown, against red rank survivors, and winning like 47 of the matches or something; it's not viable to play clown because of the 2 or 3 good teams you run across? Yes when you hit the meta object SWF it's going to be painful, but whatever. You can probably…
-
Get some Bubba in there. Enduring + Bamboozle Bubba is really easy to play, probably easier than Freddy. Corrupt intervention really helps with the early game alot of the time. I pretty much always run corrupt or discordance. I see way too many games where I spawn in next to another survivor right at a gen and we slam it…
-
It still shows that every killer is more than capable of winning at red ranks. I play a ton of different killers at red rank, including the ones people consider weak. Sure, you will have problems taking an M1 killer into a 4 man meta SWF; but most players are not god loopers or anything. Against an average SWF you can do…
-
Every killer is more than viable into solo Q teams. The latest stats released showed a very healthy mix of killers played at red ranks. Pig actually had one of the highest kill rates for whatever reason. Probably because every red rank pig runs double head pop add-ons which turns the power into an RNG mori if you are on…
-
Yeah I don't really mind it, and the weaker killers end up having some of the most fun add-ons. All the recent killers have pretty boring add-ons except Blight. I never get excited putting points into Pyramid Head, but Clown it's like candy in a shop. Bleach + Ether 15% bottles? Yes please. A couple meters more on…
-
It's not like you are ever constrained to one killer. I play Hag with browns/yellows usually but then go dump the points into a killer who actually needs them. And with a really strong basekit you get some killers with lame add-ons. I love playing Pyramid Head but good lord are the add-ons trash/boring. Oni is another one…
-
I don't really think looking at killers without add-ons is the way to go. If you run BBQ even somewhat regularly you can basically always be running greens and purples. Oni doesn't really get anything crazy add-on wise besides topknot. But wraith has a ton of really fun stuff to use. Silent bell wallhack wraith on an…

People say it doesn't work, but if it didn't work I would not get so much hate for it. Just had a game where I proxy camped someone to death in the basement at 5 gens left and still double pipped. Isn't that what the basement is for? I don't see any other use for it....
-
Nah, the ranking system is pretty bad. Kill the survivors too fast? Sorry, black pip. Every 4k black pip I get is usually followed by a scoff. Not running any gen slowdown perks? No gatekeeper for you, unless you are absolutely dropping people or the survivors are afraid of holding M1.
-
Crushing defeat. I would rather get 4 hooks and 4 kills than that.
-
Not really, since crossplay was introduced it's hardly something I think about. I usually see a blatant hacker once a month maybe, and it's a 4-5 minute match anyways, so who cares. I have only seen a hacker bully squad once in my entire life.
-
Just stay healthy, and steal victor at any given chance if the map is safe enough. I actually got my half my team killed the other day because I was trolling with him on my back and didn't realize he blocked you from leaving at the exit gate
-
Out here playing some evil Santa
-
No, it falls down to individual skill levels. Even looping for 10-15 seconds is crippling to a killer going for the 12 hook game. There is so much safety on the majority of the maps it is disgusting. Unless you are playing someone who just ignores it all. I'm half wasted and still dunking on kids using absolutely nothing.…
-
There is basically unlimited safety against the majority of the killers. Load into coldwind farm? There's probably 15-20 safe pallets to use. Only the killers who ignore the game mechanics, such as nurse and spirit, can down competent survivors quickly.
-
Because all the gens can be done in 4 minutes, unless the killer is able to create pressure.
-
Victor is one of the strongest 1v1 abilities in DBD I have used. Especially with extra victor speed and attack charge speed add-ons. Unfortunately, I don't like the character or aesthetics. But it doesn't make them any less strong.
-
Gee, i'm not sure. Something about survivors escaping after only 3 gens have been done(which takes 80 seconds between the team), or all the survivors escaping without having to do the exit gates. It is actually robbing the killer player of half the match. I am only playing the BS killers until they get nerfed. I see them…
-
I have followed your profile comments, because you left a nasty one on mine. What I see is a camping and tunneling nurse, and a survivor who kills themselves on first hook often. You are hardly in a position to make that statement.
-
Then you play the game on easy mode. Huntress is super easy as well because of the busted hatchet hitboxes. I can't say I have any respect for you. I played nurse when I was new to the game.
-
You admit to being a nurse main, correct? That's hardly even playing DBD. I bet you would have different opinions if you were down on earth playing an M1 killer like most other people.
-
Don't believe the crybabies. DS is the biggest crutch perk in DBD. You will eat it if you are tunneling or not. You will see it on 3/4 survivors at high ranks. I call it crutch strike. It stops the trash survivors from dying too fast so they keep playing. That's all it is. Just tunnel and take them out through it.
-
It's not called barbeque and cheater for nothing. The second worst offender is mad grit.
-
Nah, demo is pretty trash. You can win with him, but you can win with anybody. Even if you are super on point with the shreds and using rat liver he is mediocre. Mediocre anti-loop, mediocre zoning, mediocre map pressure. Anything he can do, other killers do far better. You can hardly afford to use the portals until the…
-
Then you are playing against some real spuds. The survivors have to practically be AFK for you to actually get it instead of a canceled animation. Grabs were dead since dedicated servers came out.
-
Evading grabs lol, like you can ever grab survivors in the first place.
-
I agree, but I only run thrilling if I am running pop or ruin at the same time. And I have had some very close matches where the difference between having to look around and figure out where to go, as opposed to just making a beeline to a gen, was the difference between saving it or having the gen be completed.
-
Do people really use thrilling as a slowdown? It's purely a tracking perk to me. And it's better than BBQ, because BBQ there is a margin for error in a tight match where you might not catch on to someone behind the generators aura in the heat of the moment. Thrilling eliminates that, and tells you exactly where to go next…
-
Nope. Camping and tunneling my way to 300 -reps as we speak. Facecamping every object user along the way. Feels good man.
-
That's a bad argument. You think one side cares about the others fun in literally any other PvP game ever? You would never survive playing call of duty, that's for sure.
-
I think that would be more annoying than anything. It would probably look something like... 1: "In chase" 2: "Doing gen" 3: "Inside locker" 4: "Looting chest"
-
I definitely consider it a tunneling perk. There's usually little reason for survivors to come take body block hits otherwise. I think you have it mistaken for deathbound which is more of a tracking perk. Forced penance is protection hits apply broken to the survivor for 80 seconds, which stops people with healing…
-
I mean, the game has given killers so many tools to deal with that. You can play any killer in the game into solo Q teams just fine. There's a ton of anti-bully, anti-SWF perks in the game at this point. There's literally a tunneling perk now (to go along with the king tunneler himself), called forced penance. Just don't…
-
To be fair, grinding out a meta build is not that difficult for either side. Ruin Undying is 2 characters. BT/DS/Unbreakable is also 2 characters.
-
I don't think Bubba is underrated, he has one of the highest kill rates in the game currently. Chili and bamboozle basically turn him unstoppable if you are confident with his saw at loops. I think clown is pretty underrated, without add-ons he is trash tier. But ether or bleach turn him into a chasing nightmare, and…
-
Really depends on the killer. Enduring/Bamboozle is my go-to for M1 killers. Gives you a bit of everything. Spirit fury is nice but won't help you if you are getting looped for a year at a jungle gym, god window, or the shack. I will do Enduring/Brutal on someone who doesn't care too much about windows but also doesn't…
-
Nah. The issues have been in the game since it came out. But it's only now they decide to nerf mori's in a hotfix, with little to no warning? Instant medkits were spammed for a month solid prior to the nerf, because it was announced. Now, I have seen more keys in the span of one night than I usually do in a week. Tons of…
-
Yeah, they have been in the game for years; but somehow mori's were magically nerfed in a hotfix but the dev's didn't have time to get to keys. Oh, but instant med kits? Everyone was given a huge heads up the nerf was coming. And those were spammed like candy for almost a month solid until it hit. Outrageous, as someone…

Keys after keys after keys
-
Franklin's doesn't mean jack. As I said, they can just hide it. If I have to spend 90 seconds camping an item to death that's sad. I should have spent the 90 seconds camping a survivor to death. I honestly don't mind keys when I am playing Spirit. I am seeing them about every 3rd lobby at this point. But I don't want to…
-
Hey look, another key. Wish I could use a mori right now. But nah, killers too OP.
-
It doesn't matter. I have played the game a ton. I am sure most killers have not. The game is in a sad state for killers right now. It always has been. It's a free win for 3-4 man SWFs right now. There is little counter to keys. There is little counter to object of obsession. There is little counter to Haddonfield. And…
-
Cosmetics don't mean anything. I have played full meta baby dwight just to throw people off sometimes. Franklin's does nothing. They can just hide the key somewhere on the map. Spirit is busted, but so is a map and a key with a SWF on comms so whatever.
-
Cool, another map and key SWF. Looks like survivors are not taking advantage of the situation or anything. Luckily I am spamming Spirit at this point.
-
Yes, dedicate half your build to depriving survivors of their items. It's trash. I have used it with Bubbas item's dropping chainsaw. It gets you into an early chase at the best. But so does.....every other good tracking perk in the game? And they don't buff the survivors chances of looting a key?
-
Yeah, except the problem is, mori's never boosted your rank. If anything, you depipped for using them. The same with Tombstone's. Every time I rock a tombstone at red ranks I almost always depip. And it's hilarious to me because I never cared about my rank in the first place. The guy called "keygun" likes keys in the game?…
-
I still have people DCing at the loading screen because of mori's, or complaining about them in the post game chat. Proof people are either super entitled or don't read the patch notes.
-
I've played at rank 1 for years. I have gone against a few NA tournament squads. I can tell you from experience you cannot beat them if you are not using a Mori unless you are playing Nurse or Spirit. It's just not possible. Even with a Mori they usually just leave the person on the hook until 2nd stage anyways. And I…
