That is not really always a fact, because some gens have a higher value than other, and because of that 3 people working in it for example is better than 1 trying to get it all done

I think the perk is still terrible. I would much prefer a hook that disables survivors with mangled, blindness or oblivious for exampme

Yeah but they dont progress gens and I dont get hooks so I prefer Pop and discordance for example

Not really, had a game against a devour player but he got 2 hooks in the match. At least ruin countered 4 players spawnibg together

Most killers do take more skill due to complex mechanics, others are harder to learn and some I would say are pretty skilless to play but balanced nonetheless like spirit

Honestly I am more than happy to screw a player that intentionally lets me struggle on first hook, but I dont do that when I notice the killer was pressuring my hook

This is pretty wrong. Swf is not the problem, it never was, and killers love to call your solo queue team a swf when they get crushed. The problem is big maps and weak killers, since no one complains about swf when they are freddy, spirit or billy.

There is one reason, it ruins your match and most people give zero craps for pips and numbers

Unbreakable is a one time use only so you can just wait and smack them back down

The cooldown mechanic was just the traditional lazy dev fix but I much prefer it over a bigger cooldown that was necessary for old nurse

We dont have anything to back most characters up except the ones from movies, so I have to say Laurie as well

I don't see the fatigue as a bigger "punishment" than the recharge on Legion and the cooldown on Spirit

According to the usage rate, the chances of him getting dsed is bigger than the one of him avoiding it and again, the perk still requires no skill to be used

As a survivor player, I say dont die within a minute of getting hooked rank 1 :)

Yeah, they are dying. So they learn to loop, learn to play and dont die, just like with great skill checks

DS is the literal definition of a perk that requires no skill since you get downed and are rewarded for it

The argument is that skill should change how you are affected by game mechanics, and "new" players should be punished for being bad.

RNG relates to the perks value, because it is risk and reward. Pressing E on time is a perk risk just like having an open totem on the asylum is for Hec users

Are you really saying that survivors making mistakes and getting punished for it is a bad design? You realise how absurd that sentence is right? Let FPS games remove snipers because people who can hit the shots will be punished by the slow reload/low dps.
