They need to address both the gen speed and map design. I think giving diminishing returns for more than 2 people on a gen would be a good way to encourage survivors to spread out more and keep gen speeds low. Combine this with a tighter map and time until encountering the other side increases immensely. As it stands now,…

Huntress all the way. Those stun noises... mmMMmMmm
-
Slippery meat and hope aren't very strong. If you DC against slippery meat, you're just being extra. It helps against trapper, but trapper isn't very strong or very popular. It's kind of a meme addon
-
What does your build usually look like? Whenever I play speed limiter bubba (aka: godda) I pop Franklin's in place of Ruin if I see more than two toolboxes.
-
Oh well then it's totally up to you. It's better at lower ranks as more survivors are less likely to know where they dropped their items every time, but it's a little like Ruin in that it's pretty hit or miss. Obviously it's much better on M1 killers, on anyone else it's pretty inconsequential.
-
Very situational, pay attention to items in the lobby and it could pay off. Usually Franklin's isn't great to run, but if you're just looking for something to fill the 4th slot, it's pretty okay. I would recommend deerstalker if you don't have too much to work with, but that's just me

All things come with time
-
Bodyblocking feels bad when it happens to you, but it's entirely your fault you didn't use your movement to avoid the situation
-
If a survivor has DS by endgame and gets unhooked, they're getting out no matter what. No matter what ######### plays they make, theres a little safety net to catch them after they ######### up
-
Breaks through stealth, becomes situational with extensive meta knowledge. Like BBQ
-
It gives you a free stun for running into the killer. Good survivors with DS abuse the invincibility it gives you by doing ######### in the killer's face all the time.
-
Plague punishes survivors that don't know how to play against her pretty hard. Legion eats through healing, but as a survivor you don't have to change up your gameplay too much to be more effective racing legion
-
DS doesn't counter tunneling. If anything it makes you a target because you're running a freebie perk. DS, as it currently functions, is just a better, one use BT. It's just an invincibility field that rewards bad survivor plays.
-
Any loop that runs for 3 minutes may as well be infinite for how it affects the game
-
STBFL doesn't stack with mad grit, your swing cool down while carrying will be zero no matter what. And the kids never stop singing. Ever
-
At least we might get a better sense of where the heck you're going with the new lery's maps.
-
You okay bud?
-
Butthurt players that make excuses are everywhere on either side. Take it in stride like hackusations

Red add-ons are very rare, and thus very powerful. They have a right to be. Moris are balanced. Period. They have to be powerful to be a killer equivalent to keys. Tombstone Myers isnt fun to play against, but the game literally depips you for playing it optimally. My gripe is that survivors don't see any consequences for…
-
Okay, gen rushing is totally real. I don't know about y'all, but my ideal game of survivor isn't to hold M1 for 10 minutes straight. Gen rushing is deliberately choosing to interact with less in-game elements, less people, and take less risks. It's the equivalent of playing WoW for resource mining and auction house trades…

Infinite looping no longer exists, but there's still a good number of God windows that spawn pretty frequently. If the killer your looping is a Huntress, then they can still be infinite. These loops don't really take much skill to do properly and are pretty hefty cheese. If you got bodyblocked, then that's your fault man.…
-
An example that isn't there anymore, but received less criticism than tunneling while it was present.
-
Huntress and Wraith. Huntress for the range and Wraith for the speed.
-
Killers do it less than survivors. It still happens, but it's not the norm.
-
Unpopular opinion: if you gotta camp you gotta camp. Had a game where I got gen rushed down as Huntress, so when I did catch someone I hooked them right up in front of the exit gate and proxied like a madman. I just ran around the hook chucking hatchets and waited them out because I knew they weren't going to leave someone…

Imagine quitting for good after getting bad luck
-
Not a fan of these ideas. I cant see these being used by any significant amount of the playerbase, besides the second for what I'd assume to be a very brief time.
-
>"it's a killer game at this point."
-
A small, powerful projectile limited to one shot you can't cheese? Only the worst survivor players think windows and pallets are safe. Change my mind
-
It's a very rare and expensive upgrade that trades effective uses for power. It doesn't propel Huntress into the god tier nor is it so powerful that most Huntress players use it. It's unfun to play against and is pretty niche all things considered, but it's just fine the way it is.
-
Was supposed to be a "let's agree to disagree" but okay
-
I disagree with your DC theory. DCs only occur when a player views a situation as pointless to participate in, right? Not really. People DC all the time and sometimes it didn't matter what, only when. Killers are given a gradient of success to base themselves on, whereas a survivor's success is quite binary. I think that…
-
If you're playing against huntresses like that, you shouldn't see them after you rank up
-
Totally agree
-
I think you're absolutely right about not adjusting playstyle to take less risks with an iri huntress. It's definitely harder to avoid on PC, but PC survivors have some good movement options that aren't discussed in-depth much. I'm actually surprised it's not more commonly known
-
>Couldn't predict I'd be fine with restrictions on iridescent head and military belt, but claiming there isn't any counterplay to a slow moving projectile is ridiculous
-
Huntress's humming radius shows her general position, but hides her exact position.
-
>Downs a SWF 3man >SWF DCs >This clearly means that iridescent head is broken and needs to be rebalanced. It's kind of dumb to base a balance change off gamers getting tilted and DCing. I'm sure if you were playing against better survivors, they'd have stood a much better chance. I do like the infinite hatchet idea tho,…
-
Dedicated servers are hella trashy and often times creates some questionable interactions, but at the same time I think more people use "dedicated servers #########" as an accuse to not improve than as a legitimate criticism of game functionaplity. There's still plenty of options for survivors to dodge hatchets, it's just…
-
Nice bait
-
If iridescent head gets nerfed than it won't see any play. Just because something's unfun to play against doesn't mean it's unbalanced
-
Correction: your comment boils down to, "Git Gud." I don't think you've been playing Oni because you don't go into any detail concerning playstyle other than saying "DONT PLAY M1!" I've tried for a good while to use Oni well and it isn't working out for me. How about instead of smugly commenting "L2P," you share some of…

You're welcome to explain your views instead of just replying "u wrong doh"

A tryhard SWF group can thrash any killer, on any map. The only counter is nurse, like, peak nurse. The nurse that turns DbD into an idle game. A lot of people talk trash about SWF to help their ego, but there's a reason the SWF is so intensely upsetting for many killers.
-
I hate the idea that DS only effects tunneling killers. That's just outright false. A lot happens in 60 seconds, I can't tell you how many times I've chased, downed, hooked another survivor, and still get hit by DS because of its 60 second timer. With any amount of coordination and skill, DS can be used to create a…
-
Totally agree.
-
The first flick change was fine, the outright removal of Oni's flick has now made him significantly weakened. Now he's ######### dead
-
Moris are rare and don't reward the killer very much for capitalizing on their newfound early kill potential. Evil Incarnate Myers deranks you, so do early Moris. They're perfectly balanced, and it doesn't stop survivors from DCing and making a killer waste a rare item
-
I think they just want to avoid the deep wounds "existential nightmare" Legion. I'm not sure why people say he's useless now, he's in a better place now without being totally annoying
