Please, go play killer for a LONG while, then come back and type the same thing. Before the mori stuff I usually don't gift survivors with a free exit, 'cause when the match goes wrong for me as a killers, survivors leave me nothing, just waiting at the the exit for tbagging. In my opinion (i'll try to not be offensive)…
-
That's why this forum exists. Wonderful idea.
-
Well, I think it's far more weirder assuming things on people judging them by a simple joke. But you know, points of view and stuff. Have fun bro.
-
Nowadays it's just a meme bro. When there's someone who uses strong words and strong opinions about something simple like a mori, well… That's the meme.
-
I'm sorry but I'm not trolling. You chose a peculiar wording for your post, aiming for a harsh retoric that points the finger against a game mechanic and the playerbase: hatred. It's a strong word, but it's related to YOU and how YOU perceive the mori. Just you. It's how you see it. Maybe on the other side of the screen…
-
Mori is now hatred. The system is encouraging getting 4K and it's bad. Should the killer go for love and cuddles? Are you two Sweet Baby Inc. employees?
-
If anything I hope this is a troll post and I'm naive enough to have fallen for it. Trust me on this: unfortunately it's not.
-
Can't see the 4 slowdowns in any of my posts, I'm sorry. Running slowdowns is different from running 4 slowdowns, and, I repeat myself, I never say that.
-
'cause it's always a skill issue, right. But this, of course, applies only for killers, as usual. There's no point in arguing here, and btw: I'm against regression buff of any kind. HF next. PS: oh, I forgot: never EVER mentioned about running 4 slowdowns as a forced choice. Stop putting words in my mouth, thanks.
-
Because without slowdowns matches are even shorter, that's why. It's not an happy choice, it's a forced one. As we've said many times now, the killer themselves provide the variance to the time it takes survivors to do their objective. If the killer is pressuring them then the survivors will be taking longer. It's going in…
-
Imagine the needs to find specific tools to repair one specific gen, like this gen requires tape, the other one requires a screwdriver, etc, all scattered around the map and droppable from survivor to survivor. This opens new possibilities for tools aura reading perks and collaboration between survivors. Yeah, I know, I'm…
-
Give this man a medal.
-
I actually AM being serious here. It's honestly the ONLY viable build atm, any other build it's, as I said, miserable. And, let's be honest here too, as a killer stall a game and buy time it's absolutely unfun and boring. My friends and I, as killers, hate the pop pain res meta. It's just boring. Of course it's my point of…
-
pop and pain res got nerfed and still popular 'cause it's the only wait to play atm, any other build sucks hard and feels miserable. Instead of saying just "no" and assuming that someone is using some perks, widen your point of view. The game needs a massive rework in many aspects, and yes, genrushing IS a problem as much…
-
Bro I'm just answering you with my experience with numbers, I mean: real numbers. You're not, and you're telling me I'm playing with "subtle cheaters". Show proofs.
-
Hi, PC player here. Meet two cheaters in 4 years. Cheers.
-
Yeah who cares about the dude playing the killer that just wants to play, right?
-
Whatever makes you sleep at night bro. Anyway, back on topic, I understand the frustration of survivors too. So I have to vote up for OP myself. Unfortunately, you can fix the game as much you want, but (unfortunately) people will be people, whatever their role in the game is.
-
"Run a Sabo build, it's easy!" "I can play the trapper and go for 4k as many times I want, it's easy!" Those two statements can't coexist, but thanks to gave me (the FOS person) the opportunity to show the others what a killer have to deal with: you chase someone, it takes time and sweat, you finally down them, and then…
-
As many said before me, the game is getting more and more stressful on the killer side, where every little mistake (or unlucky events) comes with high cost. At the moment as a killer you're literally forced to run 2+ gen regression perks JUST TO PLAY THE GAME. If you don't, the game usually ends in a bunch of minutes, and…
-
His bag. Art have his bag full of gross and sharp things. His power should be in his bag, getting a random weapon with different powers and use.
-
I'm so happy they listened. Can't wait to see more iterations like this in the future.
-
I'm so happy they listened. I really hope to see more iterations like this one in the future.
-
Usually you play a game because it's fun. You can express your skills in game.
-
It's as simple as effective, very good one indeed 👏
-
I noticed that inside the ship in Toba Landing scratch marks were almost invisible. It was a little better outside, but with low visibility too.
-
Manipulate and abuse, locking you, as a killer, in a blind state, usually twice, freezing yourself on the spot (aka "not playing", which is literally insane in a game if you ask me) for many seconds. Btw, in a chase the chased have the initiative, while the chaser must act in response of the actions of the chased one. A…
-
It opens the gate of many more mindgames and create many possibilities for killers, but for survivors too seeking counter measures and the game becomes eventually more dynamic and fresh. I think this is the main reason.
-
Tru3 had a wonderful idea and I absolutely dig it for many reasons.
-
Wander around the map, break doors, pallets or whatever you left. If there's nothing left, just alt+tab and do whatever you like, go on Youtube, read the news, anything. If they want to waste your time, let them waste their. There's no need to a new feature here, just don't take it too personal, let it slide.
-
As I said in another topic: just make this game survivor only and use AI killers. I can't really stand players cry for anything a killer do or don't, asking always for more buffs and basekit and nerfs. Playing killer make yourself in the position to be the bad guy, if you play well or not, if you "win" or "lose", whatever…
-
As I said in another thread, just make this game survivor only and use AI killers. I can't really stand crying survivors anymore, playing killer is just frustrating and you always be the bad guy, socially speaking, whatever you do.
-
At this point just remove the killer role and make this game survivor only with AI killers. It's honestly unbearable to see survivors complain about everything a killer do and/or use and call it "toxic". Rewarded how?
-
"Panic attack"? 👀
-
Ok but read me again: As I said: I DON'T tunnel. NEVER. Still, the game punish me for NOT doing that with sweaty matches and so on. What's the point in saying all this?
-
Lol (?)
-
Killer main here: I don't tunnel like... Ever. Don't like it, never liked it. The game punish me for this most of the time.
-
Oh, you naughty boy... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Ok, sounds fair. At the same time let the killer bypass survivors that bodyblocks doors and passages to save teammates. Thanks. EDIT: Before the flame starts, I'm ironic. Basement is not a safe place and I hope it will never be. And even if I find annoying how survivors bodyblocks the killer, I'm not REALLY suggesting this…
-
As I said here (Lights out is fun and the reason the perk system has to go — BHVR) I'm totally fine with this. A skill system is better than the actual perk system, and more sustainable in the long run. If you continue to add more and more perks in the pool, the game will be progressively difficult to balance, not to…
-
What's all this hate for the Plague now, it's increasing day after day. 😂
-
Never mentioned your anxiety. I'm just saying that what you're talking about it's body horror, and it's a horror genre. I'm sorry about your anxiety, I truly am, but that skin IS horror and in specific it's body horror, that's it.
-
It's body horror.
-
People play Lights Out like they normally play DBD. Sure, it needs some adjustments and balancing and you're absolutely right, it favors the killer atm, but the main problem is the lack of mental flexibility of a lot of players. It's not the same usual DBD, it's different.
-
Someone finally said it, but of course you'll be not listened at all, 'cause you're telling them to stop running the strongest perks to loop the killer over and over and over, asking for the entire game to change to let them do it, instead of playing a role in a team and help the survivors follow one of the main objective…
-
Well I said what I felt to say. c: I can understand the point of view of everyone against this, but, as my last answer, I'll ask you to be less conservative about the game and more open to possible and radical game changes, for the benefits of the game itself. I can be wrong btw, but until I can't see it fail, for me, this…
-
Absolutely yes, that's wait I said from the start. Works on shooters, works on mobas, it should work on DBD too.
-
Lol I wish you a killer like me ten times in a row, so you're gonna get toxic-free games and maybe even easy wins (?). How many builds are actually used in game? DBD lacks in roles and it doesn't identifies survivors at all. Imagine a STRONG survivor basekit to counter tunneling and one unique ability for each survivor…
-
That's why I talked about unique ability/abilites for survivors, just like the killers. Then we can work out a solution, as I said: it's easier without perks. And as I said, again: no perks BUT unique abilities.
-
I had sincere and complete fun without any kind of frustration for the first time after I don't even know how much. The total absence of any kind of loadout is absolutely brilliant in my opinion. Raw gameplay is so fun.
