I finally got mine. Hbu?
-
Yep. I just replied to my support ticket today.
-
Ohhhh. I actually did look at other posts but didn't know that was the same thing.
-
Oh, good point.
-
Are those even purchaseable with shards? I tried to submit a request through the support website, but that is disabled it seems.
-
Hi. So, still continue to wait? And on what date should I take action if I still haven't received them? Two weeks from now?
-
The one I can 100% confirm is a killer having 4 hex totems in the match with 0 hex perks in map. This was recorded about a year ago.
-
Yeah. That sounds terrible. I don't want to play for a few hours just for my MMR to normalize. I've played against killers recently that returned and they didn't know about Boil Over or other changes. I felt bad for em.
-
Oooo, interesting. That would help people like me that play a varied set of killers. Not playing killers consistently, I sometimes forget nuance behind a killer's power, how I like to play the killer, and why I have the perk setup I have.
-
Well, you don't know it's NOED until you have one hooked and one on the ground often. But yeah, altruism happens. Winning one chase doesn't help if the other three don't have DH. In my experience, all teammates don't have it. I just go after the others. I think playing killer with 3 perks for most of the match "deserves"…
-
True. I did switch to mostly evening killer lately. Been getting relaxing matches for a month or so.
-
NOED is probably more variable. Could get a 4K or could do nothing because of it. DH is probably more consistent on a person that uses it well. But one person having Dead Hard won't save the whole squad. I don't think comparing a killer perk to a survivor one is very productive. 😂
-
It's so good. 🤣 And aren't games supposed to provide...joy and entertainment? Watching Dead Hard fails does just that.
-
Thanks. My experience suggests otherwise.
-
but pentimento 😱
-
When I'm killer going against Dead Hard: I like when Dead Hard works against me. I smile at their crafty play. I like when I bait it out. Because I just ruined their play.
-
I tried Dead Hard a bunch when I was a new player. Got destroyed so I stopped using it for like 6 months. Got better and started trying it again. Now I have about a 50% or slightly less effectiveness from it. Still not talking escapes. Just that I don't go down during usage because of better timing. However, I don't use it…
-
I agree with this. I would trash documenting a game if a player disconnects. Unless it's on death hook or something. It messes up the flow of the game too much. Survivors might stop trying, hooks don't break, etc.
-
Stress or inactivity / boring / waiting. Pick your flavor. The beauty of this game is that I can choose either based on mood or schedule.
-
That makes more sense. Thanks. Love math. Just too lazy to record my own stuff.
-
Do you use Boons as survivor?
-
Lul. I was about to respond to your other post while I threw my calculator out the window for not understanding. Friday brain melted from work. I'd expect the 2.7 kills per match to translate to a 68% kill rate.
-
I started playing December 2020 and have not yet taken a break. I have completed every daily since. However, I will have periods where I play way beyond my dailies versus periods like right now where I play only to complete my dailies (mostly killer ones) and half a challenge. This is maybe 15-45 minutes a day. Since I…
-
I'm cool continuing to wait. These forum updates are helpful.
-
I'm trying to wrap my head around how it's 2.7 kills per match but only a 45% kill rate. Can you explain the data?
-
Played some before posting this and didn't see it. Hmm. I'll see if I can get a clip next time on Twitch.
-
And the gold cog border would continue to fill up? Because from what I saw, it did not change. Whether in chase or solving it.
-
Obviously, I'm exaggerating. But she really is my least favorite killer to play against. She feels low-quality. Other killers with ranged attacks - Trix, Slinger, Pinhead, and Executioner - feel higher quality with their ranged attacks. And I'm not talking about balance.
-
That's really interesting. I was a survivor main first because I dislike first-person games. But that sounds like a cool killer idea.

-
Interesting. Thanks.
-
I would be playing tons more but I also play Elder Scrolls Online and a couple other minor games. 😁 Mixing it up keeps the salt levels way low.
-
Against bad teams, where hex totems aren't needed to sacrifice them, too long or all game. Against average teams, it varies. And they typically do not find all 4. Against good teams, where hexes are needed, it's like an expensive corrupt intervention. Lul. They really should bring back Hex: Thrill of the Hunt's…
-
Maybe. Not sure how I'd feel about buffing killers though. At least not in the conventional sense. I don't necessarily want my games to be easier as killer. However, I wouldn't mind if they were slower. What I'd like is 3rd person killer camera. 😁
-
How long have you been playing? Playing 15 hours a week for 2-3 years could add up to many hours very easily. Me, 14 months.
-
Hmm. Really? I'm not talking about the blue-ish chain outer-area. I'm talking about when it's gold and someone is mid-solving the box. When it's fully filled in, it means chain hunts are already going? Damn, I thought it was a distance thing.
-
Killer's not for everyone. I like it. But it definitely takes patience. It would be nice if they made it appeal to 20% of DBD players somehow.
-
I've seen this on Xbox Game Pass people from my PC as well. I'm with you on hours played. I don't understand why people wouldn't want to broadcast hours played. I think it's a cool way to see what games people are into. I see this as no different than "I binged Ozark."
-
That's a shame. I was hoping I could somehow chat with them from my Epic Games Launcher. Oh well.
-
4-man SWF on comms is an automatic 4-escape every time unless you're trash. (When all this does is put you in a higher MMR tier.) Killer is tunneling. (When hooks have been spread around decently). I actually do play killer and survivor fairly evenly and have the playtime split and stats to prove it. But I guess not sure…
-
So what you're saying is they should rework Huntress to be a melee killer because BHVR isn't good enough. Agreed. #RemoveHatchets. @landromat Huntress is my 26th favorite killer to go up against because of this garbage.
-
Yeah, that's not what I'm asking though. OUTSIDE of group lobby, they cannot chat with you, right? In other words, if some dood that I was talking to in post-game chat friended me, I have ZERO way to communicate with them outside of a group?
-
So they wouldn't be able to message me until we were both in a group?
-
Maybe they're working on it?
-
Each killer has their own MMR. However, the floor of that MMR is based on your overall killer MMR. So, it's a mix. You buying and playing Pig for the first time will not be the same as a person playing DBD killer for the first time. But it also shouldn't be the same as your best killer. That was one of the best things…
-
Ah, OK. Thanks. That's a shame.
-
Body blocking a killer as a survivor is fine, allowed, risky, and good play, because a killer can hit them and then walk through them. Body blocking a survivor as killer is not fine because the survivor literally cannot do anything. Know the difference. And if it bothers you so much, use Starstruck. Or perhaps stopping…
-
Calling you. Hook phases while being camped is 120 seconds. Let's assume that survivor had a (generous) 40 second chase. That's 160 seconds. 1 gen takes 80 seconds. That's not even considering travel time. Three survivors, if they ignore the camped person, will complete 3-4 gens at best in this time. Then it's 3 v 1, which…
-
Same.
-
Did they ever give a reason? And are there plans to bring this back?
