PS all survivors are bots now - but myself and the killer are still in game. Live bugs and cheats are great to get. Take it while it's hot hot hot. Update: Well - that was an interesting hour long battle of stubborness between myself and the epic exploit cheating killer. He finally booted me out. Guess I outlasted them.…

Thank you all for taking the time to comment. I feel better about it all now and thinking that my perception might be a bit off. I appreciate it. Going to go in and play now - hopefully with a different perspective thanks to you all.
-
Maybe I'm just being overly suspicious then. In the three cases I saw the teammate unhook themselves I can think of one time where the killer was close - the other times the killer was chasing other teammate quite the distance away. I had no idea there was a bug that didn't show all of the perks but only a few, so that…
-
It gives someone a chance to keep playing, and killer to get second hook points. Win-win. It's especially when teammates are the self types so focus on them and their own points they leave teammates to die. I can't count the number of times I've had bad luck and the game has literally just started and I'm hooked and I'm…
-
Hmmm. Okay Thanks.
-
Have these been completed?
-
Usually I do that when the teammates have been toxic to the killer. Stay at the gate and let them do things, especially during an event since they might be looking for something, Often times they get my death naturally as I'm just left to die by teammates so I just naturally die. so-to-speak. It is what it is.
-
I often stay at the game for a bit - not to make the kilter mad or gloat but in case (especially during an event) they need to find, or do something. I also like to try to give them extra points like finding and closing the hatch and I'll knock a few pallets close to the exit so they can break a few for some extra points…
-
I always find these events super unpleasant. People are so aggressive. Any cakes ever put up ... even after events over ... games are super aggressive. Teammates just leave you on the hook ... more than normal. Killers are super nasty. The only way I can deal with it sanely is to suicided pretty much every game. Since…

@PlaysByShady First a really big thank you for putting the time and energy into this post. I actually understood it. :-) I appreciate it. I don't understand the fuss as I think it makes sense and most important... if I'm having fun playing - I don't really mind what's going on. If I'm not. I stop playing. Games are suppose…
-
@RockoRango I stand corrected. There is Blockchain Tech. Something's not quite right. I have to say I'm a bit disturbed. We'll see how it all plays out though?
-
Most people are exactly that. Very few have the luxury of not worrying about day to day living or have enough of a stash, or are frugal in how the live their lives that they could comfortably do that. Financial security is something majority of people don't have. Some people like me, live well under their means and could…
-
I think this is one of the main issues with the whole fiasco.
-
@Boss I'm sorry you decided this and I hope it's for now. I feel you. I really do. I have a love hate relationship with this game. It's a phycological mine field of poop on the best of days. (That's playing it.) Never mind the rest of the issues you mentioned. For the foundations of the game itself, there are a lot of…
-
Sadly that is how it's looking. A higher end programmer also would have had to know. Not quite was I was aiming for - but thank you. You have probably helped people a bit. :-)
-
It all depends on the type you're referencing and how it's all implemented and place together. Not all NTF's contain what most people consider Blockchain Tech. It's why I thought it might be a good idea to have one thread with a full explanation that's easy for an average person to understand. Sadly I understand it - but…
-
There is an issue. They're on it. https://downdetector.ca/status/dead-by-daylight/
-
Let me rephrase it... livelihoods. As in paying bills, eating etc. Life basics :-) Right about now my comment "Also this is a VERY important note: "Absolutely zero blockchain tech exists" and they can verify that if they wanted. It would ease a lot of this." Is looking like a really good idea for them to do.
-
I cant believe I'm actually going to say something in support of what a mod said... "Remember some peoples lives depend on this game" This is always something to keep in mind everyone. I am empathetic to that. That being said I completely suck at translating some things for people to understand. It might be an idea for…
-
There is an issue sadly. We'll have to wait it out:
-
Just give people the option to play with them or not. Simple. I've had 5 games running where I hooked suicided because of SWF and some were SWF's with killer friends. It's frustrating to play with that. IMHO and completely unfair - especially with a killer friend. Some SWF teams are wonderful though and they treat the rest…
-
I just had a really great game with strangers. I think they might have been a two man SWF. I was AFK at the start - now in fairness to me I cancelled long before I hit the lobby (and this has happened a few times now - very weird) I walk by my PC and WT helk I'm in a game! Welp geesh there I am on a hook and a teammate…
-
I make a point of playing killer now once a week - it helps with the toxicity that if often abound. Keeps it fresher. (Though I can't say I've been bored. Frustrated, yes. Bored not yet. lol Just had a really great game with teammates that I wish I always had. That often brings so much joy that I stick around. Deeply in…
-
That last line is precisely the issue... it's not fixable. It kinda is-what-it-is if you know what I mean? For all the discussions of frustrations with the game, many are not fixable as they are behavior based. We can't change how players behave. We can only react / chose how we are going to behave in kind. I sympathize…
-
I have to agree with many here that every situation is unique (from killers stalking the hook, etc etc)- that being said - I totally feel you. More often than not there is NO reason to let a teammate get to phase two. It's one of the multiple reasons why I will suicide. It's frustrating. Especially if you are wearing…
-
BOOYA! Exactly. XOXOXO
-
Pretty much. I mean they have to know that behaving that way to cause a negative reaction. *thumbs up* You are certainly entitled to your opinion, however, it doesn't make you correct. In fact you are quite wrong. Search my posts - you'll find out pretty fast I am a survivor main full stop. Since you think I'm a liar - I'd…
-
You're welcome. I really feel for the decent killer players now. I'm still flabbergasted at it but maybe overtime I'd be less sensitive to it. XO Nope really didn't see much of. Here and there sure but to see it first hand so widespread was a bit shocking. Playing solo I saw crappy teammates towards other teammates but not…
-
I play solo. Most of the time I'm doing gens alone (getting crappy BP for it too) and left to die (like just now) on a hook, at end game, after I've saved everyone else). I've noticed it on occasion but had absolutely NO idea how widespread it actually was. I'm focused saving, and doing gens - not watching what other…
-
That, I agree is an irritating bug. Another one that should be high on the list of getting fixed. It's unfair to the killers.
-
Thank you for that. Keep doing videos! :-)
-
Thank you! Thank goodness I'm not alone!!!. I was thinking the killers were going to start to think I was cheating and it's like not my fault at all ... ....and that last one with my Teammate on the hook and I couldn't get to her. I'm thinking she's thinking "This girl is seriously going to stand there and let me die" but…
-
Thank you for taking the time to explain the origins. I have a great deal of appreciation for your approach here than originally. :-) Very appreciated. :-) It's also a good history lesson about the game as well. Those past ones did note the problematic originally facecamping issues - which would have been terrible! EKKK…
-
According to all the webpages I've read and what other users / players have said: Should I go on... Now the only change you are referencing is apparently they could get even closer and prevent and other player from unhooking. Everything else is the same minus that bug. So - consider that rude one :-p
-
I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic or not but if not ... I've only been around since the summer and yes, I know what it means and yes I've seen it quite a bit. A killer literally standing at the hook at your face. Sometimes they keep smacking you or puking on you - the whole time you are on the hook. People have…
-
Wow. On one hand I would have liked to experience that - on the other though I'd probably be very frustrated now. Since I came to play - they've never been any real good. :-( At least I'm used to that. It must be horrible to come from a time period where they worked properly. :-(
-
Easy answer - you meet a killer like that or teammates without a killer camping / tunneling killer who just won't save teammates - suicide hook and move on to the next game and hope for better teammates in the case of non camping / tunneling killers and / or a killer who doesn't make the game miserable. Actually both types…
-
Since when were the flashlights ever not horrible. I'm serious here. Was there a time?
-
So I'm going to add this: If you aren't going to get me off the hook and leave me until I'm almost dead. So then the killer goes right after me again and I'd dead. When I can sense a game like that? Why on earth should I try? Teammates leading the killer to me while another is on the hook and I have Kindred on or they knew…
-
And you believe them? ;-) *hug you*
-
Yes, you have to opt out of it. So it's opted in atm. As survivor Queue are ok again but were fasted on PC only. I never had an issue. (Killers I know did.) So I find it really freakin' weird that all my PC players have vanished and been replaced by console ones. Yeah that is odd. No issues getting PC survivors previously…
-
Breaking News: Not letting your teammates die on the first hook - kinda part of getting those done. :-) After all it's a team. I realizes while there is no "I" in team there is a "ME" but the me is second when it comes to teams :-p
-
Is it hacking, bugs, or exploits though? What are the experiences?
-
All depends on the structure of the company and if there is a board / shareholders etc etc. If they are completely independent without anyone overseeing it by way of outside operations - no one's getting fired. Hmm looking into the structure of the company might help s to understand the madness. Hmm.
-
LOL, yes - as a PC survivor this has been my experience too. I think it might be the way they've had to play for their platform for whatever reason?
-
I think you are correct xo. Not surprised by that correctness either. They are using, by the looks of things, multi-script languages. Unity C (C#, C-sharp) is a large part of it and that's object-oriented scripting languages. Which makes sense. At least that's my impression based on how things react, the bugs, and the…
-
claps Well done but You remembered the dew but forgot the cheetos. I'm sorry, this is a page 1 rewrite. 😋
-
Some killer are too. Record and report is the best bet really.
-
I sometimes do a leroy Jenkins when it looks hopeless. It's pretty funny and good practice for chases. I get beat down bad by the killer but it's fun.
-
People are making me spit out perfectly good tea lately! LMAO Oh the sarcasm of this is real. LOL Love it.
