Eruption/Call of Brine/Overcharge was definitely worse, probably the worst if being honest. Agree that not being to see each others perks is pretty ridiculous. That should have been a feature like yesterday.
-
It actually is a buff. I turned it on immediately and now even killers that have more subtle themes that I had trouble hearing as they approached when I'm on a gen are instantly noticed because of the visual cue. The fact that people are getting uptight about you making a statement, not even of ill intent just a statement…
-
I was so excited for dead hard to die so I could feel free to use M1 killers like Sadako and not feel the pain of getting hit with a free chase extender. Sadly DH is no longer dying.
-
I'm gonna be honest. I was willing to accept the killer nerfs because Dead Hard was getting buried but now it's not and we've still lost our best perks and now I've lost motivation to come back and try the patch. I'm glad they reverted the base healing but now SWF will be true menaces with CoH. So killers are the big…
-
Pain Res has no place on my killers anymore. CoB and Overcharge are dead. I'm actually considering Pop which speaks volumes about the state of regression perks. We're gonna hit a point where Oppression and Grim Embrace are our best options if this keeps up. Wouldn't be surprised if Deadlock is the next target.
-
It's just a badly designed perk. It makes the killer hesitant to even hit the target which is their entire goal. This is somewhat like a survivor being hesitant to be on a gen because of old eruption. It's stupid and a perk shouldn't make you hesitate with interactions of core gameplay, it creates a funky feel.
-
Pain Resonance and old Pop are still the best designed regression perks. Rewards the killer for playing well and getting hooks and creates good game flow. Current 3 gen giga regression is so unfun.
-
Yes. I've won games singlehandedly with this perk that would have been unwinnable. Haven't felt this strong since ruin affected skillchecks and the totem was never found.
-
Not to be a dick, but mentalities like this are how we ended up with loot box systems, battle pass systems, "Limited time" systems, etc. Don't downplay anti consumer practices. These tactics prey on personality traits to squeeze as much money as possible.
-
Killer could have risked it, survivor could have just moved. I know this forum loves to circlejerk one side but it takes two to create this situation.
-
Some people have way too much free time if they can just waste 2 hrs like that.
-
Unbelievably buggy. Multiple game crashes as killer. New killer can lose his power for the entire game. New map spawns every pallet. Can't access archives or you get a cursor bug on console completely removing your ability to play. Can't progress archives because there's a bug where you need to deselect and reselect to…
-
I'm on PS5 and I got it. Crazy that a gamebreaking bug made it through to live. Literally unplayable.
-
I always let survivors do their glyphs. It's petty not to. Don't need to further perpetuate the stereotypes about this community by being a dick.
-
I've been wanting a "training mode" for a long time. Now I can try out different killers and techs without getting my face stomped.
-
Good on paper, awful in execution.
-
A bit yeah. Long queues for killer which is the role I enjoy the most. Solo Q is miserable and an even bigger coinflip than it used to be and the role has never been that engaging to begin with. So I just end up not turning on the game most days.
-
You could have compared it with basically anything else but you chose Overwatch 2, the worst F2P model I've ever seen.
-
I'd do 7.5. Massive maps, green med kits, bnp, swf comms are still problematic. But the overall killer buffs helped and killers have gotten a lot of good perks over time (pain res, deadlock, call of brine, eruption) on top of survivor perk nerfs like DS and Dead Hard rework. Some killers still need help but killer has a…
-
What do you mean, there's literally no difference because of that busted ass add-on. That's the whole point. Make Blight take off Alchemist Ring and watch how much of a difference getting hit by the first rush compared to the 4th rush is.
-
Personally, he doesn't have a satisfying feel except when you pull people into lockers which is rare. Compare this to Wesker who grabs survivors and zooms them into walls, feels amazing.
-
Not at all. I just wish we didn't have to hold to confirm on the bloodweb, takes forever.
-
Perk is reliant on RNG. As much as I like how hyperfocus makes gens kinda fun it was also equally unfun sitting on a gen and barely getting skillchecks. Something you don't care about too much when you're not running it but with it, it is really annoying. Eventually I just went back to Prove Thyself, can't stand RNG and…
-
It's not even going live next update. People really going full smooth when there is gonna be plenty of time to test and change things.
-
I remember when he was S tier, how sad.
-
Yeah, it was when gens were 80 seconds, deadlock didn't exist, ds was a threat so hook trading actually worked, and survivors didn't suicide the majority of the time they're getting camped. I guess be disingenuous and pretend things haven't changed.
-
No shot BHVR could get that working.
-
Early game is the most important to get momentum going. Unless they change something fundamentally about it, having to spend it setting up blows.
-
It's all good man.
-
I don't know how you can read what I said and this is your take but the people on this board love creating bs out of air so I'm not surprised. Said the 2021'er to the 2018'er. Keep creating delusions so you don't have to hear things you dislike. It was a joke which should have been obvious considering the followup but I…
-
People love scapegoating, it's always something no matter the time period. You relied on dead hard. Killer is fine just pressure gens lol. Ruin's not even good just land your greats. People never wanna hear something that will make their role weaker cause most people don't care about balance, just the side they play. Cool…
-
Ah yes, the hyperbolic hitting of every great skillcheck flawlessly. Just like the ever so common merciless storm pain res people were complaining about. Be careful what you wish for cause they have a way of changing things in ways you don't expect. And no, I think it's a perfectly fine skill that requires lots of focus…
-
Tiny buffs? Literally 50 extra seconds minimum on top of buffed perks like pain res, on top of better chase potential because of shortened CD on hit, on top of the survivor nerfs. The downplay is real. Also lol to the guy who told a Ghostface pfp to play killer.
-
I've been running hyperfocus and stakeout and I enjoy the combo a lot. It's very satisfying to continue to hit greats at increasing speeds to break up the monotony of doing gens. Stakeout also serves as an information perk letting you focus on skillchecks until you start to get a visual cue. Do I think it's a problem? Not…
-
10 bucks at most. If you've ever played League of Legends, their best skins change all their attack animations and everything. That's what I expect.
-
Mate, this was legitimately the case in multiple instances in the past but now more than ever you have way more leniency than you used to as killer.
-
It's only potentially good for SWF. You think most solo players who get camped are gonna wait it out? They don't care, they will DC if you reassure them.
-
It's okay to stop playing, come back when you're actually looking forward to it again. I took a 15 month break before I came back, it's a game not a job.
-
Yeah, it's annoying. Just hook me and quit wasting everyone's time. Hatch escapes don't mean ######### anyway.
-
Usually, unless the whole group were dicks or I'm going for an adept.
-
Even if the grind is "reduced" it feels awful going through the bloodwebs when you make less in the bank per round compared to BBQ/WGLF era. And you're telling me it's gonna be like another month before it's back? Disappointing.
-
Working MMR. That's the real buff solo queue needs.
-
You can thank Le Reddit for overblowing a situation that would likely only happen 1/100 games if that. Oh well, guess they'll really have something to complain about when the combo returns and you see it much more often than that.
-
Just turn off end game chat. Nothing good ever comes out of it.
-
They picked a hell of a time to killswitch incentives. I know it wasn't working properly but they should have left it on until they had a fix. It's their mistake after all, why punish us?
-
Just needs more fine tuning. It's been 9 days and you guys are unrelenting like it's been months, take some deep breaths lol.
-
Numbers always drop after the anniversary.
-
I get what they're saying. I had a game earlier where I was splitting the hooks, I hook a Jill and she hits stage 2 before getting unhooked by the guy I was chasing. I ignored her and downed him and she flashlight saves as I pick him up. I obviously downed her and hooked her after that. Not the smartest move for someone…
-
BHVR had good intentions and I think some of the changes are good but they didn't factor in that people who want to win are going to use the best stuff regardless of whether they need it or not.
-
For survivor my only core perks are Prove Thyself and Sprint Burst. Sometimes I do Inner Strength + Detective's Hunch, Blast Mine + Flashbang, We'll Make it + Botany Knowledge. For killer my only core is Pain Res. Usually an information perk and then 2 random perks for comfort or BP gains up.
