I suspect the reaction arose from the fact that Hattie Mae is the name of characters or people that are black and that the OP uses it as a nickname for an ethnic character.
-
If you hate the game, why do you still play?
-
We don't know what useful data looks like, because DbD players tend to take any data and throw it out saying it's bad
-
Didn't you know? A Killer taking 2 seconds is totally more time than a survivor not doing 20% of a gen.
-
So then you'll go back to complaining that survivors run the same 4 perks
-
That's how it works. The first DC is a 5 minute ban. Within a certain time, each DC adds more to that. When DC punishments are enabled, that is.
-
Thanks for proving that you're a waste of time.
-
I predict that the answers in this thread will be totally unbiased and not simply "Hexes/Boons are stronger because I'm a Survivor/Killer main!"
-
If you're getting your hit taken away they much, maybe wait until your internet connection is more stable?
-
So you want Killers to get hits when they shouldn't be.
-
Ping is variable. Any time my ping gets bad, I start getting hit when I shouldn't have, according to my screen. Server validation made me get hit. Sounds like a you problem more than the game.
-
That's of course assuming one side wants the game to be fair for the other. That statement is indiscriminate in who it applies to.
-
Stop trying to "gotcha." It's bad form for debate. It did not change a numerical value, nor did it change core functionality. All it did was make the game actually take into account the i-frames during an attack. If a computer AI was playing DbD, the bug fix would not alter the conditions in which it would attempt to DH.…
-
Hit validation makes it fair, not "guarantee the killer doesn't get the hit."
-
The hit should not be blinded accepted. Literally every competitive pvp game operates on that fact. Sorry to burst your bubble, but if your "fair" hit was rolled back, it was not fair. Simple as that.
-
You just demonstrated your failure to grasp video game terminology while simultaneously insulting people. Congrats. Fixing a bug is not a buff. Full stop. Just quoting a sentence from wikipedia doesn't change that fact.
-
The survivor most likely DHed coming out of the pallet vault. But from your perspective there was a little time because your game is always delayed due to you needing to get information from the survivor, validated by the server, and sent to your client.
-
Twins, Freddy, Bubba, Hag. Basically any Killer with a ######### playstyle.
-
They aren't being robbed of anything. The server said ot was not a good hit. It looks like that because your game assumes it got the hit so it plays the animations and sounds before the server says don't. If you were getting hits before, and now you're not, that means all of those hits were unfair. Simple as that.
-
Imagine thinking fixing a bug fixes the survivor a 3rd health state. If anything, it just means you abused the fact that pallet/dead hard hit validation was notoriously killer-sided.
-
Yes and no. In server-based FPS, the same effect still happens as in DbD. The bullet has to be verified by the server as a hit. This process is much simpler though, because most bullets are hitscan. So the server doesn't really have to do many calculations when it compares the locations of the hitbox and bullet. It's…
-
Maybe you have wildly inconsistent ping?
-
Yeah, maybe if it was restricted to like only work while injured or give it a cooldown that doesn't count down while the survivor is running.
-
They nerfed him because he got free zoning by not committing to using his power. The moment I see his gun go up I had to start trying to juke, so he could just tap ADS and get me to lose speed for no cost to him. Plus, quickscoping removes agency from the survivor; if the Slinger missed a quickscope, it was solely because…
-
And that's fine that you disagree, but you're in the minority. They changed him because the overall feeling was that as a Survivor you didn't really do anything to influence Slinger missing or not. And it feels bad when the Survivor has no real counterplay to the power. I can dodge knives/hatchets/bottles, but I can't…
-
Lol yikes
-
I'm glad that I'm on XSX; it's very rare that I get messages anymore.
-
There's a .2 m per second difference between 115% and 110% Killers. You traverse 32m in 6.96 seconds at 115% and you traverse 32m in 7.27. There realistically is not much difference between the two speeds in loops, the bigger difference is map pressure. Anyways, he's got the same lethality as pretty much every other Killer…
-
IF is great on every Killer though. The fact that he only has to traverse half of his terror radius in order to put you in danger of being hit is pretty good. Not to mention that it takes basically a quarter of a second longer for him to go 32m vs a 115% Killer going 32m.
-
Making the survivor scream and kill themselves anytime they move would be a better solution
-
I enjoy the thought process in saying that a cooldown on DH isn't a drawback. Or that only having access to it when you're injured isn't a valid condition. This thread is pretty obviously a "gotcha" disguised as a legitimate debate.
-
So you've tried it with the new terror radius?
-
The infinite loading glitch isn't the CoH crash though, so disabling one won't fix the other. My game has yet to crash since they disabled CoH, but I still get hit with infinite loading.
-
2 things can be broken at the same time.
-
If you lose a hook because you got bodyblocked, you got outplayed.
-
If you add a cooldown or once per trial useage, in a week you'll be back to complaining that survivors only run 4 perks.
-
If you can't play without Scalped Top Knot then you don't deserve it
-
That user is super melodramatic about the state of Survivors vs Killers. Every survivor is a SWF Seal Team 6 kinda melodrama.
-
People are just salty their "push button to win" killer was marginally nerfed.
-
I mean, they might not want to disable all the boons because it would have a semblance of unfairness to survivors if survivors' totem perks get killswitched because of that. Realistically, once they fix the circle of healing they should come out and say if they will or will not killswitch totem perks due to unbreakable…
-
It's just someone who thinks if you don't have a pc you shouldn't be allowed to play video games. Don't bother with them.
-
It's okay though, because you apparently don't deserve to not have the game crash because you didn't shell out the money for a decent pc.
-
Why shouldn't an effectively nonrenewable resource not be fairly safe?
-
Also, they literally could not killswitch uncleansable before because it did not exist before.
-
I'm on an XSX and they were still crashing me. Also, you sound like an elitist with your "get a better pc" mentality. Good news, you can still test the shadow step boon. They only killswitched circle, because, again, it crashed the game for those dirty plebs that "don't have a decent pc."
-
They aren't shutting off the boon because of unhittable totems, and they probably won't.
-
Bruh, the boon perks crash the game. Shut up about killer coddling.
-
"Manchild syndrome"
-
The amount of QQ in this thread had me thinking they nerfed a survivor perk. Anyone who thinks Spirit is dumpstered without knowing specifics of the additions (how loud the footprints are or how much dust is kicked up) is an idiot.
-
Isn't Killer MMR based on which killer you're playing? So your Nurse MMR will be different from your Pig MMR. Also, losing games as Killer will drop your MMR, letting you match with worse players over time.
