I agree with most of your points. It came to a point for me where I felt like I was JUST a dollar sign. I know companies are in it to make money, but I feel like our enjoyment isn't just the second priority, it's like the 3rd or 4th or 5th on the list. There are members of the team that care. You can tell they do when you…

It would be a cool cosmetic but they would pretty much have to give it away for free or it would have the potential to look like they are trying to profit off the pandemic.
-
Why did they re-add it? I've been on break for many moons so I'm out of the loop, but that was one of their best QoL changes.
-
I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone associate a cause/effect relationship to doing gens and camping. One of those things is literally the objective of the game for survivors. The other is a side effect of too much altruism, or something you do when you really want a particular survivor to die.
-
I turned off commenting and made my profile private solely because of the DBD community. It became a chore deleting the disgusting comments every single day. Some killers wear them as a badge of pride. I'm getting too old for that ######### myself.
-
When you refuse to play against SWF groups your DBD experience immediately becomes infinitely better.
-
Ya you seem totally chill. I have no idea why anyone would think you were trying to bully. That's so weird.
-
I wish they would. It's already easy enough to find out most of the time.
-
It's designed that way on purpose. The killer is meant to have an advantage in that area and rightfully so. You get the advantage of planning and preparing with your team before you even enter his lobby. If survivors could see killers they would dodge good ones all the time and it would become a problem. Killers dodging…

DBD in general caters to "old" horror fans, like Elder Millenials, Gen X'ers, and Baby Boomers. FNAF was geared towards young Millenials and IGen'ers. I think that is why you see most of the guff. Old guys don't feel like FNAF chars are "real" horror monsters, and generally don't have any experience with them at all beyond…

Take a break and see how you feel. Nothing wrong with that. I haven't played in like 3 months at this point. It's been quite refreshing, actually. But yes. This game has THE most toxic community of any game. By far, for the most part. There are only a few that give DBD a run for it's money. Sad, but it is what it is.
-
The enjoyment of DBD increases tenfold once you close the chat box and vow to never open it again.
-
Personal opinions on camping aside, it wouldn't even be near as big a deal as it is if survivors would start doing gens instead of throwing themselves into the altruistic meat grinder over and over. It's done because it works, and it's really that simple. Survivors are just as much to blame for the issue as killers. I'm…

Heh there were a few more options I wanted to put on there but 10 was the limit : /

Thanks to everyone that participated. This was something I was just always curious about. I find that I am usually exhausted, but for different reasons. I have fun playing killer, but it can be really stressful. By the time I'm done playing for an hour or two, the toll it's taken is really noticeable when I step away. Or…

There are pros that live in low ranks on purpose. Horrible players that were carried to red by SWF groups that can barely do a gen. Not to mention the emblem system mess. Pips and rank mean very little beyond the value you personally assign to them and that's just a fact.
-
I think it would be lazy and uninspired, personally. And they won't just flat out remove a killer that people bought cosmetics for with real money. They just won't.
-
I played since launch myself, and just quit 2-3 months ago. Every time I start to regret it a little, I come back to the forums and am reminded that it was probably the best decision. The game is a mess right now : /
-
A majority of survivors are perfectly comfortable being extremely toxic all on their own. SWF groups are bad, but they aren't the source of it. They just exacerbate it.
-
It's a noob-killer, like Freddy. Once people get some experience under their belt it's not even an issue. I can't even remember the last time I was killed by NOED.
-
I don't think this game was ever originally meant as a black-and-white, win-or-lose type of thing. There are sooooooo many random factors in each and every match that you just can't help but get hooked sometimes, literally and figuratively. I think we were all meant just to dive in and have fun chasing or being chased in…
-
I guess that's why no one uses Hex perks. Oh wait...
-
It feels like ptb and player feedback in general is mostly ignored. I don't expect him to change before release personally.
-
"DIDN'T THEY ADD A MECHANIC TO PUNISH HOOK-CAMPING KILLER?" Yep. It's called doing generators.
-
Lag favors the killer since they're hosting. You should always do it a second or two early. Personally I do it when they're -right- at the edge of the radius they need to be in to open it.
-
What are you doing engaging in post-match chat with survivors? Are you a masochist or something?
-
I haven't had a DC in any of my matches since Monday or so.
-
I'm worried because he's actually good right now. I don't want them to completely ######### him up and make him an actual F tier, and I don't want them to overcompensate because of his reputation and make him a killer everyone is going to DC against like Legion.
-
Just don't play against SWFs. Players having map-wide voice communication is really the only time this is an issue. If 3 randoms actually managed to coordinate something like that and work together though you kind of have to give them props. But it was prob just a group of friends with mics.
-
Don't feel bad, lots of us dodge SWFs as a rule. Once you start doing that and get back down to the mid ranks the game becomes 10x more enjoyable.
-
Come back down to medium ranks. Matches are 10x more fun and I don't even remember the last time someone DC'd.
-
Opinions on whether it should stay or not aside, I really don't get why lobby dodging triggers certain survivors so badly. You click one button and find another lobby in seconds, without losing anything. Is it really that bad? Feels like this is more about SWF groups not getting to bully people and being upset about it.
-
And he still looks pretty good :) Just don't stare at his face too long.

Tunneling is a legitimate strategy quit taking everything so personally.
