It has been, before the removal occured actually.
-
You're right, though the mod team shares responsibility in that as well. I renamed the topic to suit this.
-
Oh we're talking about Dead Hard? I don't have any issue with Dead Hard. It's fine just the way it is. Entirely counterable. My stances on these are "Bloodlust is an important mechanic designed to prevent infinites" and "Dead Hard is perfectly fine as it is."
-
I play almost exclusively solo queue. Red rank survivors should be pressuring gens. If you get a killer to level 3 bloodlust and no gens pop, that is entirely your team's fault, not a balance issue.
-
If a killer is using bloodlust to get you down, you have successfully wasted SOOO much of that killer's time. If bloodlust is getting you downed, then 3 gens should have popped during that chase. Bloodlust downs only ever happen when you have exhausted all of your pallets in the area. Unless you are just looping the killer…

I agree 100%. Tier 1 or 2 perks are universally undesirable. There are now around 90 perks for survivor, plus more addons and offerings than when the bloodweb was implemented. I think it's about time to remove the unnecessary tiers. I think the tiers were originally in the game to give players something to unlock anyway.…
-
Does bloodlust even need a counter? Bloodlust itself is a mechanic designed to prevent chases from lasting forever (which they still nearly can anyway.)
-
An alternative to this weekly or daily bloodhunt could be daily login or "first match of the day" bonuses that give an extra amount if points. Or to increase the amount of points we get from daily challenges. Or to have weekly challenges.
-
Agreed. I mostly play killer and I strongly believe the game has always been survivor sided, but it is slowly becoming more and more balanced toward top tier play. The things that can be exploited unfairly are slowly being phased out of the game.

Charge your battery

*screeches in tombstone*

Except Deathslinger's addon is aweful due to his range limit. Also, the reason iri head is still in the game probably the same reason keys and red moris are: the devs haven't gotten around to balancing them yet. They will sometime this year as long as you keep talking about them.
-
30-60 minutes is what I would say is 100% holding the game hostage. Unless they are actually going around touching gens trying to play the objective. There are such situations where survivors are just cowardly and playing painfully slow and that is not hostage holding.
-
Holding the game hostage is one or more players making it impossible for the other players to leave the match without disconnecting (using the Leave Match option or closing the application.) There are many ways to do this and I will list a few: Hiding and never doing gens. Hiding and never opening the exit gates.…
-
The game has always been a time management "simulator" on the killer's part. Even with old Ruin. But with the removal of old Ruin, now they are scaling down the survivors and their gen rushing, so it's balancing out alright over time.
-
So the Micheal Bay version then
-
I disagree with a lot of what you said, but some perks are indeed not worth the drawbacks (Mettle of Man.) And you are correct, "git gud" will not solve a lot of the problema you have. The thing is: if you don't enjoy DbD at all anymore, why even play it? Is it just because you feel like you've invested too much to drop…
-
A game should be balanced toward the top level of play without sacrificing the bottom. We already have Plague who is STRONGER than this hypothetical killer would be and she is fine. Even considered a litte underpowered.
-
I play almost exclusively killer for over 2 years and I agree with them. Against an experienced swf group that is communicating, using an OoO, and gen rushinh, this killer would be virtually helpless unless the survivors made a huge mistake.
-
And these are almost never solo survivors
-
Both sides have a challenging match and both sides nearly win.
-
I think it hurts stealth killers more, but I'm ok with it being in the game. It doesn't make that huge of a difference. If that player was already good enough to run you around for 5 gens before you kill them anyway, Object of Obsession isn't going to make them any more likely to do that. The reality is just that the game…
-
Interesting. Lmao, good thing that's not my goal here 😂 Thanks for the replies, I was curipus about this. I notice girls play DbD a lot more than other games, or at least are more open about it. There are a lot of friends I have who are women that ONLY play DbD and then only play survivor anf don't like any other games. I…
-
Turns out they changed his grappling hook to just count as hooking a survivor to be sacrificed.
-
It depends on whether I have company over and my mood. I will spend a whole day playing survivor with my neice, but I will also spend a whole day playing killer on my own. Sometimes I do solo survivor queue, but it gets boring a bit faster for me. It also depends on what other games I've been playing. If I played a lot of…

Poor Legion mains. I cri evertim
-
The sabo is fine. I would prefer having it take 4 seconds, but honestly the way they are handling it, it won't be a huge problem. Saboteur has a long cooldown, if all the survs are busy with alruism that means they arent doing gens, so a sabo team is easy pickings for slugging.
-
Tunnel two toolboxes, then slug the last two.
-
I think it will be fine. The devs have gotten pretty good at making adjustments to PTB. The only real exception is Legion T-T
-
I think it's a good idea as long as players with less than 100 hours have sbmm of some kind.
-
Sometimes turning on a VPN can fix the problem, but it only works about a third of the time for me. This happens to me for about 3 days every month.
-
It's a network issue. Don't listen to people saying it's a player count problem. It's always been in DbD and only effects certain people for random amounts of time.
-
You can't do 7 matches per day? That's like an hour of DbD every day. Don't buy a battle pass if you can't even put in an hour per day.
-
Yeeeaaaah. Out of everything that could have been buffed on doc, what he needed was no delay between shock being used and shock hitting someone. Other than that he would be fine.
-
WHY did 80+% players use it?
-
Well, I would support this if they increased gen times to 100 seconds instead of 80. The game just goes by way too fast, that's why people used Ruin so much to begin with. Survivors finish every gen in less than 6 minutes OR they all die in less than 6 minutes. There wasn't much of an in-between in red ranks.
-
They seem to be under the impression that people used it to rank up Gatekeeper.
-
MoM is too inconsistent. The protection hits shouldn't have to be while standing near an injured surv, it should be any surv. DS is fine.
-
You can always do the archuves tomes and unlock those cutscenes. They are permanent. The Rift is the only thing that goes away.
-
It's ok being niche, but it's just barely stronger than Dead Hard. Needing to vigilantly work the whole match to take one extra hit is not worth the perk slot. Just take a styptic.
-
Basically, certain people like DbD to be a power fantasy and they get upset when it's not.
-
I agree. And yes I was disappointed that those skins could be bought with money.
-
Being able to get them with money cheapens how special they are.
-
Why not both? Old ones return with a couple added every year. So yes, you are correct.
-
Grim Panties, oml lmao
-
But the way it's spelled has the L being the third phoneme, not the second like people pronounce it.
-
I have to pronounce things correctly for my job, but some words have multiple correct pronunciations depending on dialect. "Crick" and "creek" for example. But that's different. I think this mispronunciation just stems from the game of telephone. Edit: meant dialect, not dialogue.
-
It's pronounced exactly how it's spelled though.
-
Where are you getting this 25% figure from and why are more feral hits a threat?
