If the unhooker immediately heals under hook, they can still get it off within ~7 seconds (if I'm doing my math right) even with the 50% debuff (assuming the unhooker has no healing buff perks or is using a Medkit)

I second this. The fact they made it a perk and not a base ability is to weird. Spies is a really good perk, and one of my favorites. It's usually pretty reliable, even against stealthy survivors. I think it's always fun when killers act like they don't have Lightborn equipped. Mindgame flashlighters and then give em that gotcha moment when it matters.

It only really shines for good loopers, or those that can escape chase, but even then it's outclassed by other perks. Second Wind is one of my favorites, since it encourages altruism and rewards it with a fast heal.

I've started running Spies in the Shadows. People will expect aura builds and run Distorion, but they won't expect you to find them using borbs, and honestly it's pretty good in terms of needing to find people while they essentially now have one less perk.

I had a match earlier like thos today. It was a Bubba on Mother's Dwelling that camped two survivors first hook till they died. Me and the last survivor popped the remaining gens, and right as the exit gates opened, he popped up to hit us with NOED. Like, he didn't even do anything that match and was rewarded for it.

That was a painful decision I had to make, and honestly am glad I made it when I did, because all of the major overhauls started not too long after (map changes, locomotion changes, etc). At this point I wouldn't bother swapping if you have everything on it unless your Switch explodes.

Honestly if they added herbs into the match I think that would be neat. Grabbing 3 would create the poultice seen in game and would serve as a nice side option, otherwise I would be so down for then to Regenerate.
