My dude, YOU had a good game. THEY did not. Saying gg after someone disconnects is just rubbing salt in the wound of a game that was already awful. The best thing you can do after a game like that is to just not say anything at all. Just go on to the next round.
-
I have seen some bad suggestions tossed around in this forum, but man, I'm impressed. This is easily the worst I think I've ever seen. You want to actively make the game worse for everyone because you personally don't want to have a couple of cosmetics on your account? That's certainly something.
-
The game would be a lot better if they'd never touched FNAF, but unfortunately, the mistake's been made. Turns out that image of being an LGBT friendly company was all performative on BHVR's part. When it comes to companies, money's always worth throwing away your morals for. It's not a surprise but it is a shame.
-
Of the ones you're looking at, I'd say wesker is probably the strongest, but he's not the easiest to learn. His bound can be a real pain to use in chase. I'd say nemesis or xeno are the way to go, and as a matter of personal preference, I'd say nemesis is the most fun. Shredding pallets with his power is a good time.
-
Quick switching at all shouldn't be a thing, so yes. Survivors should be locked into their builds during the last 15 seconds of the countdown.
-
Yeah, and that's not what this discussion is about. Items have nothing to do with lobby shopping, player levels are the only connecting tissue here. At least pretend to try and stay on topic my dude.
-
Nah, you're wrong. I can't even say I disagree because you don't disagree with something that's just wrong. You can't disagree with fire being hot. But that being said, it doesn't have anything to do with this discussion. You're talking about player levels, they're talking about items. Those two things have nothing to do…

5-7 est is generally around the time people have come back from work, settled in for the night and started playing. That's why, on the east coast at least, the bp bonus switches over to killer around then. That's when people are getting online to play with their friends.
-
It's an asymmetrical game. Survivors get 16 perks, killers get 4. Survivors get 4 items with 2 addons a piece, killers just get the 2 addons. Killers need information a hell of a lot more than survivors do, because there's only one of them. If you want to start complaining about it being unfair, then okay, fine. Give the…

Taking a break is absolutely the best call there. No game is meant to be played forever. Take some time away, play other games, engage with other hobbies and come back only when and if you feel like it.
-
Trust me, you absolutely do not want it. End game chat is a cesspit. Just yesterday I reported a player because he went on a tirade about how skull merchant players are all LGBTQ and according to him, it's all a mental illness, and it's all just a fake trend that people are jumping on to because...reasons I guess? It came…
-
You're right. It doesn't make any sense. It's almost as if it's not a thing that happens and this is all just some "feels over real" whining. Killers that want to win tunnel out the weakest link. A p100 player has spent enough time in the game that they shouldn't be the weakest link in most teams. They aren't being…
-
Personally, I'm not big on games getting changed to cater to people's phobias, especially not horror games, but eeeeh, if it can be done in a way that adds something to the game, why not? I don't have arachnophobia, but satisfactory's arachnophobia mode is really funny, so that's fun. In this case, I'm curious how would…
-
k. And I disagree for the reasons I stated. I know they're going to remove the ability to see them sooner rather than later, they've already signaled as much, but I think it's a godawful idea and it will never not be a godawful idea.
-
Because the game is asymetrical. There's 4 of them and they can all bring tools that can make or break the killer's ability to play the game, way more than anything the killer can bring to impact theirs. If the killer couldn't see survivor loadouts and they came in as a 4 (or well, we don't even need to go that far, 2…
-
Can we please not though? It's much better if they're kept visible.
-
The only one of those that I've seen is a quiet place, but regardless, I wouldn't mind seeing some stuff from newer movies. That said, while I know they wouldn't be as hype for general audiences, I'd love to see them branch out into weirder licenses. I'd love to see a puppet master chapter, or hell, I'd kill for an uzumaki…
-
You can do the challenges in normal matches. Just saying.
-
So, with this, every single pallet stun becomes a lost chase. Cool. That sure seems like a totally healthy and interactive perk. I'm sure absolutely nothing would go wrong if it were implemented into the game.
-
1) Remember, no two people can ever use similar language ever. That's not a thing that's happened in the history of the entire world. But hey, as long as we're on the same page and understand that you are in fact being really weird about a coincidence, then great. 2) It wasn't a tangent and I'm right 3) I like lists,…
-
I wrote out a whole big response to this, saw a typo that I wanted to edit, and then somehow the post got lost, or at the very least, I'm not seeing it anymore so I'm assuming it got lost. I'm not about to rewrite it again, so to sum it up; 1) These are some weird, narcissistic patterns you're seeing here. "Remember" is a…
-
I can't wait to see them gut another killer tool, because survivors just don't have it easy enough. I'm sure all those killers on that list will come out just fine too. Remember that time the devs said that billy was fine and that they liked his current state, and then they added the overheat mechanic just because? I…
-
I see your lore argument, but have you considered the following: Who cares? Like, actually, who cares? The devs certainly don't care. Have you seen what cosmetic descriptions look like now? No, the reason why they're been making everything blue is because its a low effort way for them to squeeze some more engagement time…
-
I'm sorry but who are you? You didn't post in this thread before I made my post. This is just how I type. Do you just see random posts from strangers and assume they're talking about you or trying to take digs at you personally? That's weird man. To answer your question though, survivors could avoid the tail just fine…
-
Don't forget maps that completely delete killer's powers. Good luck playing billy on RPD, but yeah, that is fine actually, because survivors like it when killers can't do anything, and they're the ones buying cosmetics left and right.
-
Remember, if killers have anything at all that gives them any sort of edge, it's bad and "unhealthy" and "not interactive" and it needs to be nerfed to the ground. The original cooldown on the tail was fine, but survivors didn't like it because it meant that they had to actually play carefully, so now here we are. Of…
-
The problem here is that neo-nazis, and really just bigots in general, have turned a bunch of things into dog whistles. The OK hand gesture, milk (although that one failed, it's hard to force milk into a conversation in a way that isn't convoluted), pepe the frog, the colors black and yellow together. They're going to just…
-
You got it wrong. The answer is the omelette. The omelette is the reason the chicken and egg exist.
-
The clutter isn't a problem if it's functional. I don't care if the main menu has a bunch of buttons, as long as they're organized neatly and I can get to the thing I want fast, then great. Adding an extra click to the process isn't a huge deal, but it's an annoyance that wasn't there before, that doesn't need to be there.
-
It's absolutely going to be nerfed, and it does not deserve it. It's fine as it is, it's even fine with DMS. There's finally a perk that rewards killers for spreading hooks around (which should be a basekit system), and you know it's going to be taken out behind the shed because survivors don't like it. God forbid killers…
-
In what universe is this a buff. Explain how making the perk worse with no upsides buffs it.
-
That's not a thing already? Weird. It's a standard feature in most multiplayer games that let you host custom matches.
-
Come on. Don't try to spin this like it's some kind of buff. It's a nerf. A big, blatant and completely unnecessary nerf, and one that completely misses the mark by doubling down on the one of the big reasons people complained about STBFL in the first place; It encourages the killer to just ignore a player.
-
As many times as I wanted without having to keep an internal note in my head about how many times a given generator has been damaged. You do understand that this is not only a nerf to killer perks, but it makes the game even more unintuitive and miserable to start than it already is. I would absolutely hate to start the…
-
Have you considered that this is a god awful compromise? Because it is. This is just twisting the knife that was already lodged firmly into the spine of all gen kick perks. Why would anyone run nowhere to hide, or surveillance, or oppression (not that anyone was using that joke of a perk as it was) or dragon's grip? Surge,…
-
In ways that have very simple and straight forward counterplay, yeah. Did they kick the gen? Tap it. Done. The gen is no longer regressing. Even if you let it regress for a while, they butchered all the gen kicking perks so it'll take no time at all for you to get your progress back to where it was. When you're doing a…
-
It shouldn't be a trade off at all. Imagine if you played a game and chose to use subtitles, but if you did, all sounds in the game were heavily muffled and distorted. It's a choice, but not really. All it does is hurt the people who choose to use the option. It shouldn't be a thing.
-
If you don't think it's problematic, then hey, how about we give killers a perk that lets them delete a chase. Let's say, a perk that can be activated every 60 seconds that lets them phase through an obstacle. I mean hey, if it's fine for survivors to invalidate a killer's play with no repercussions and no counter play,…
-
If a million people point out that humans breathe air, they're not being original, but they're also not wrong.
-
This roadmap may as well be called "the survivor's wishlist". Survivors are getting everything they want. 3 gens are going to be gutted, STBFL and ultimate weapon are going to be gutted, mangled as a whole is going to be gutted, and DS is going to be buffed. That's the direction we're going in and it's going to be awful.…
-
Things being better now doesn't mean that there is no problem.
-
I'm just going to copy and paste my post from your last thread since you never addressed it. === I'm going to ignore the issue of whether it's cheating or not and focus on the far more practical problem with this suggestion; how would you enforce it? Filters like reshade or nvidia freestyle don't modify the game's files at…
-
I don't know if it's happening a lot, but I can say I've certainly seen it happen in my games.
-
I'm going to ignore the issue of whether it's cheating or not and focus on the far more practical problem with this suggestion; how would you enforce it? Filters like reshade or nvidia freestyle don't modify the game's files at all. I guess dbd could scan your computer to see if you have reshade running at all, but that…
-
These changes are trash. Absolute trash. I haven't had a good game since they went through.
-
In what way is that suggestion not fair? It lets buckle up protect the person being tunneled, turning it into a true anti-tunneling perk. That's what people are are pretending buckle up is for isn't it?
-
Well, if people argue that it's an anti-tunneling perk, then buckle up would be fine if it only worked on the survivor that got picked up and only when it's used on them within, say, 30 seconds of being unhooked, right? That seems like a fair nerf to me.
-
If you made it to the end game, then you didn't get face camped, meaning that the anti-FACECAMP system did its job. Once the endgame hits, the killer needs to be able to secure a kill through some means because they have no other objective.
-
Yeah, that's what'll happen when you give survivors 100% control over the killer's power. EMPs are not fun to play against so people just won't play him. It's a shame too, he's one of the cooler new killers.
-
That's pretty obviously what it is, yeah.
