I can't see anything on the knights new map
-
Are they really creating artificial scarcity, or are they just selling holiday skins during said holiday? There are too many skins available now anyways, they should go into some type of rotation. Not having Christmas skins available in July does not make BHVR an evil company like you are portraying them.
-
They won't make as much going after a small market though. Say you get 100% of the 5% to buy a skin that fomo is affecting, it still wouldn't compare to just getting 10% of the other 95% of the people. Plus remember, 60% of the time it works every time!!!
-
I highly doubt they are making that much money of such a small number is people, but we have no way of knowing so we will have to agree to disagree.
-
I personally do not think they would target such a small market. You market to the masses, not the minority. I just don't like seeing BHVR attacked when they have managed to keep the game relevant for six years and you never had to spend a dime if you didn't want to. Even crossing console generations with no extra fee.…
-
Do you really think BHVR is targeting this extremely small market you speak of? Or is it more likely that they simply decided to have holiday skins be made available during those holidays? Or maybe they just don't want every skin available at any time because it clutters up the store? I see no problem with them rotating…
-
How about a hillbilly skin to look like the re4 chainsaw killer?
-
How is it scummy? What changes if you don't buy a skin that BHVR is supposedly pressuring you to buy? Absolutely nothing.
-
Guyfawx is right, there is nothing scummy about this. It is extremely common, nothing shady about it. What is the point of having 20+ skins for one character to be available at any given time? Who cares if they put them in some type of rotation so there is only 10 available. Plus this is all about skins which have zero…
-
The simps are the ones who fall victim to FOMO.
-
Because it's not that big of a deal to most people. To you and others on this forum it might be, and that's fine. This type of thing doesn't even register to the casual player. Halloween skins being available around Halloween sounds pretty normal, not like some evil plan to steal people's money.
-
The nerve of this company, trying to make money....
-
It is not even viewed negatively in the marketing world. It is common. They don't need to make an excuse to do it.
-
It is hard for me to get mad at them for FOMO marketing. It is probably the most common strategy used today in all sectors so why wouldn't they use it. I would consider it shady if it was directed at children but this game is rated 18+. Also, these are just skins that don't do anything. I still can't believe people spend…

First off I know I am the minority and I am about to get blasted for this, but why are people getting so worked up about cosmetics that do nothing to the actual gameplay? If you want them, buy them! If you can't, then don't! Either way the game is going to play exactly the same.
-
Not working for me either on ps5
-
I have done this multiple times, go to protect an injured teammate while they head for an open gate just to get hit with NOED...
-
Lot more kiddos on console is my guess. That and more casual gamers like mentioned earlier.
-
Am I the only one that has still been getting the cosmetics even when I die before the exit gates are opened?
-
If you want to play casual, then you shouldn't be worrying about "winning". What you consider winning is even up for debate.
-
Crazy that something with no physical form is bad for the environment.
-
I am totally I the dark here. I know the basics of what nft's are, but I do not know what is so bad about them. Can someone give me a quick lesson?
-
After seeing the blights POV camera, i would hate to see what chuckys would look like...
-
This is fine with me. Bodyblocking hooks is typically only used by SWF and they could use a nerf or two. I play solo survivor and no-one ever tries to body block hooks for me.
-
I feel the same way. Since I completed the rift I haven't played much either. I just feel burnt out after finally completing it. I don't know what the answer is to fix it either. I used to always want to play a match or two every day but now while between rifts, i don't want to touch it.
-
How can you tell what platform others are playing? Doesn't the symbol next to someone's name just mean that they are on a different platform than you?
-
A few minutes??? You spend more than that just trying to get into a game! If you could complete the rift by playing an hour a day (like the developers said originally) then there would be no grind. When you actually need to play two to three times that (4X if you count queue times) then it's a major grind. To be clear, I…
-
I don't think anyone is saying it is hard, it is just a LOT of hours you need to play. I can always finish all of the challenges but still only be around tier 60 to 65. Without any challenges those last tiers take forever.
-
You can definitely say that it encourages people to buy tiers, but there is nothing that forces you to do so.
-
Welcome to the game and all of its toxicity. All I can say is keep playing both sides and then hopefully you can appreciate each sides perspective. Try not to take it too seriously and just have fun. I have been playing this game for a long time and I still have games where I get zero kills, but then follow it with a 4k…
-
I might actually use them now. I won't feel bad using them and it might come in handy during egc. Maybe i won't have to eat a ds and watch the survivor teabag through the gates.
-
It's news to me so thanks!
-
I like the new maps. Anything to spice things up is always appreciated.
-
Percentage wise you are probably right, more console players are worse than pc players. I am guessing it has to do with the kids. I know this game is rated mature, but let's be honest about it, how many 8 to 12 year olds are playing? Do you think they are playing on console or pc?
-
To me it seems like it is a buff for the really good loopers, you might as well forget about them, at least until some pallets are gone.
-
Enough with the selfcare is garbage posts. It is almost as annoying as the NOED is OP posts. It's a good perk when used at the right time. Just like many other perks. Bad survivors make bad plays all the time, not just with selfcare.
-
I do it if that survivor is the last one I need for my 4 stack of BBQ.
-
I can honestly say this happened to me once when i was myers. I am not a hacker but I was running around like this for a good 3 or 4 minutes. I felt bad so I didn't kill anyone, I just 2 hooked them and let them go. I wouldn't be surprised if most suspected hackers are just more bugs in the game.
-
I have only purchased cosmetics with shards. I bought the original rift and earned the auric cells back. This last one i didn't get to 70 so i am only sitting on 950 auric cells :(
-
I like the idea, but that would hurt the solo survivor a lot that just happened to get teamed up with a 2 man or 3 man SWF. I would take your idea but reverse it. Any survivor in a 2 man SWF only get to bring 3 perks each (solos still get 4) 3 man SWF brings 2 perks each. 4 man gets 1 each.
-
@OllieHellhunter is right about playing each side once per day. You get a bonus 300xp each day for playing your first killer match and another 300xp for your first survivor match. It helps with getting shards as well as rift fragments.
-
My favorite killer moment was while playing as the pig. I just killed the 3rd survivor and the last one was already at the hatch in the killer shack. Apparently he wanted me to come see him teabag so he kept vaulting the pallet in the shack. I went stealth mode, snuck in the other door and closed the hatch before he even…
-
As a solo I hopped into a locker close to the gate while another survivor was opening it. He got it to around 90% before getting downed. The killer then carried the survivor right past my locker where i nailed him with head on. While this was going on another survivor finished the gate and we all left. Of course they all…
-
I think the majority of killers are just trying to be nice at this point. At a minimum they are letting you score points for opening the gate and most likely letting you escape. Same can be said for survivors when they hang out in the exit gates. Some are trying to troll you while others are just letting you get some more…
-
How about when you are injured with no med kit and nobody left to heal you?
-
@Kebek is 100% right. The perk is fine, some people just don't use it at the right time or run half a mile to use it. 32 seconds to heal or 16 seconds from a second person to heal is a wash.
-
I think it is far more beneficial to have all perks at level three rather than prestige. That said, i have prestiged most of the licensed killers. I don't plan on ever buying cosmetics and since we will never see cosmetics available with shards (for the licensed killers) I went ahead and prestiged them.
-
What do you think is more fun, 0 kills but hooking everyone once or twice or camping one person to get a kill?
-
As @cindlemain asked earlier, what statement are you making?
-
I agree solo can be pretty bad sometimes. The only point I was trying to make is that if you add comms to a potato then they are instantly much more competent. You could simply tell them not to unhook you while the killer is near, you could tell them that the killer is following them, you could tell them to jump on gens…
