I agree with most of your points, other than where you call players who make 'Juke' compilations crap lmao.
-
You made a fair argument, but we'll have to agree to disagree. Take my Vote up sir.
-
Again, didn't even mention what you said I did. Also that's very funny that you posted the exact same comment twice but you went and found a cute little picture of Dr Evil to add to the relatable factor of your comment! And no, I want the thread locked because clearly both sides disagree with the other, therefore there is…
-
That's a fair argument, but that still doesn't explain why you get less points for doing them.
-
I'd just like to say as well, I've been replying and reiterating my point a lot in this thread, but this is the problem with these forums is that, people aren't willing to change their mindset, and that's okay, but it makes these posts completely pointless and redundant. Someone please get this thread locked, as so don't…
-
As I said in my previous comment, it was clearly a joke. Although I wouldn't say it's delusional. Hate one person>hate group of people because of them. Hate twitch streamer cause he teabagged you>hate and tunnel all twitch streamer forever because they all bad hello I'm cannibal chainsaw go brrrrr
-
The comment wasn't aimed towards you lmao. I never said "Dizzy1096 claims that all twitch streamers are bad and I'm comparing him to certain historical figures!" Cmon bro, don't make stuff up to defend your argument. Secondly, it was clearly a joke guys, this game literally has Freddy Krueger, a pedophile running around…
-
Is that not a fair comparison to make? I mean it's definitely a bit of a jump, but the premise is the same. Hating a group of people (streamers) based on bad experiences a player had with one of them is to an extremely less extent the same thing.
-
I think the point they were making is that in both scenarios, you're opening an external source in order to have an advantage in the game. You can't argue the same thing about Comms, as steam, Xbox and PSN all have their own built in voice-chat mechanics. Using something like Discord is just an extension of that.
-
I know my experiences don't count for everyone's experiences, but this has never, ever been the case for me. But you can't really blame me, seeing as "matchmaking is broken", lol.
-
It sucks that just because someone had one bad experience with a a certain person means that they will treat all people from that particular group with aggression and unfairness. Sounds similar to something from the history books I learnt about in school🤔
-
You guys are having a discussion more about whether the streamer your up against cries about it, when that isn't really what the topic is about. You can stream snipe as much as you want, no one is going to stop you, and yes you're absolutely right about it being broadcast to the ENTIRE WORLD (big of an exaggeration but oh…
-
That literally is the explanation for why a brown rank would be put with a red rank. The ONLY two ways it can happen are if you're extremely unlucky, or the more common reason is because at least two people are a SWF and one of them is incredibly higher than the other player they're teamed with.
-
Okay but you're now talking about a matchmaking issue, which everyone can agree on. That still doesn't make it fair to stream snipe a streamer with friends just because they're a streamer. You can do it, sure, but it's cheating. And by all means, cheat in your video game, no one is gonna stop you, but when you don't…
-
Well I'm sorry to flex but, I got both rank 1 on both killer and survivor within the first 70 hours of the game and I've been playing for nearly a year now, and I've never stream sniped anyone. If I play against a streamer and they're better than me, I take the L. If I play against a streamer and I'm better than them, they…
-
Okay that was pretty good I have no come back, take my Vote up.
-
But the matchmaking has nothing to do with whether it's fair or not to stream snipe. The matchmaking is something BHVR are actually trying to fix to improve everyone's experience. Also as I stated in another comment, the reason you get put with red ranks at the rank you are is mostly because the game is trying to balance a…
-
If you beam the stream, you are the meme. (Aka, the butt of the joke)
-
And that's the fair way to do it. Amen my son.
-
Right but the matchmaking isn't fair because they're still trying to figure out if it works. It isn't a flaw with what I said but the game itself. The Devs have got rid of and reintroduced better matchmaking a dozen of times, and it's not the best, but it'll get better. And saying "in a world with fair matchmaking", the…
-
9/10 small streamers don't make profit out of streaming, so to use that as an excuse to play unfairly isn't really a justification for doing so.
-
It would be both sides complaining, not just survivors. Damn do you ever actually play survivor? You need to out an equal amount of hours into both sides before spewing nonsense about a topic you don't have the knowledge to argue against. I'm a survivor and killer main, and you have to start looking at things from both…
-
Does explain a lot, doesn't it? lol.
-
No. Having TTV in your name is a form of promotion. But that's also not what this post is discussing. I've only been streaming since October and I've built a pretty great community, and I don't use social media, so having TTV in your name genuinely, does help and is definitely beneficial.
-
Ah, see, with this post you proved why you posted it in the first place, because you hate that streamers potentially have a SWF and you can get an advantage over them. You also said you dip a match if the streamer has a SWF, but also defend stream sniping and say it's fair? Literally you keep contradicting yourself in this…
-
Amen brother, DAMN.
-
Why don't you explain it better then? Lmao.
-
Oh man you have a lot of comments that everyone disagrees with. Do you ever just stop and think that maybe you are the one that's in the wrong, whether you 'agree' with it or not? The Devs don't favour either side. They're actively trying to make the game more balanced. They could listen to the community more for sure, but…
-
the Devs ABSOLUTELY discourage tunneling, slugging, camping, the whole ordeal. They literally have designed perks to stop killers from doing these things. Here, let me name a few for you: Tunneling - Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike Slugging - Unbreakable, Soul Guard, No Mither, Tenacity, WGLF, practically any healing perk…
-
After reading pretty much the entire thread, I actually have some other points I'd like to make out too. Growing up I used to play Halo with my brother, and back then all we had was splitscreen. One console. This meant you could screen-watch, thereby cheating to gain an advantage (In this case, knowing my brother's…
-
I mean a full SWF that are actually trying to go for win streaks or destroy killers usually have a OoO, if not all of them will have it, coupled with the information they get from an external source. It's not fair for the killer to see their side, and it's not fair for the survivor to see the killers side, but there's no…
-
Yeah but you're the same person who runs Moris and tunnels streamers out the game just because you've a few bad experiences with them. Imagine hating an entire group of people and treating them differently just because they're different from you. Sounds like someone from the history books👀
-
I will agree that that Rank reset has been THE worst by far that I've ever seen in my entire time playing this game. I just played a match against a Freddy and threw my headphones across the room and put a hole in my table because of how toxic they were. Lol!
-
And you're definitely not forgetting that survivors, for a full stack of WGLF need 4 tokens, meaning 4 safe unhooks and/or protection hits, which means they're probably also injured? I think it's a great perk, the reason people are running it right now is because of the Empathy challenge in the latest tome, that's…
-
Understood every word you said my friend, probably better at English than I am and I'm from the UK😅 But you're right, and it sucks that it is this way, but the more we all talk about it, the more likely BHVR are to keep working on this game and perfecting it.
-
I always tell people not to teabag, always. I hate it when I see that #########. Unless the killer has been toxic and clearly is trying to ruin everyone's experience, I won't teabag. But I can relate. I don't even get why survivors teabag when the killer got two kills? They're essentially saying "haha you played well and fairly…
-
I mean, you can see I've been on the forum before lmao. Only recently created my account because I read a lot of forum posts anyway and have for a while, just never had the need to share my opinion until now! And I'm not you unfortunately, so I can't relate.
-
Pleas point out where I told people to play a certain way also, because I just read it like 3 times and can't seem to clock what the ######### you're talking about, lmao.
-
Everyone please listen to this commenter, lmao. We need more players like you in this world sir😔
-
Didn't exactly tell anyone that they were bad for playing a certain way, but that it's actually ineffective and potentially could cost the game playing that way. The survivors guide for killers is a big meme, but at the end of the day the rules we have put in place for ourselves were made up BY the community. I think it's…
-
Sure, when queing against solos you could tunnel someone out of the game, eat the DS and so on, but players who tunnel incentives more Anti-Tunnel game mechanics. The whole reason they added DS, Borrowed Time and perks like Unbreakable and Soul Guard were to counter Slugging and Tunnelling because that's not how they want…
-
I could tell you how I play Hag and the strategies I use, but I think they're personal to the way I play her. I don't trap hooks, though. If you're a good hag, you don't trap hooks because it's expected. Don't want to advertise my twitch here, but if you want to see proof you're more than likely to check it to see how I…
-
I think it's deffo a mix of both tbh, some players just see players like N00b3 and JRM being toxic, and although I wouldn't say those guys are purposefully trying to ruin other players days, they definitely so that and their impressionable audiences think that's how you should play the game. The other half just love to be…
-
I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said, couldn't have said it better myself. This game is at its Peake amount of fun when EVERYONE is having fun. When you have the choice to make the game fun for everyone, you should make that choice. And if they SWF decides to teabag you at the end, ######### them. At least you're not…
-
I would disagree. Myself and a lot of others agree that when you play fairly, it's a better experience for literally everyone in the match. When you actively know you could be ruining someone's game, their entire mood and attitude in real life just because you rely on rubbish tactics that would never ever work in…
-
Basically in all my time playing (Which is only about a year) I've never experienced the amount of sweat and try-hard killers who care so much about their rank this much ever, and after this post I actually switched to killer, same thing on here. Literally just quit because it's now 2:19am and I was just trying to have a…
-
Although this post is dumb as hell, it's definitely not survivor sided. At red ranks practically all killers have a win rate of about 60% or higher. There are actual statistics that one of the Devs released proving this. I'll post it if people want to see it. But I disagree with everything this guy has written on this…
-
you can get temp banned for doing it, as long as you record it as evidence and send it to dbd through their report system on their website. If you report the player as well for Unsportsmanlike, then they'll usually do something about it. I actually tested this theory by doing the same thing on a smurf account, reported it…
-
Players also get two depips if they disconnect, 1 if they kill themselves and they get no bloodpoints for disconnecting, as well as increasing matchmaking lock if they keep disconnecting in games. I think sometimes, especially at red ranks, players just tend to turn off the game or Kill themselves if they've played against…
-
If you want someone to get a penalty, the best way to go about it is to record the gameplay of the match, and then report than player with a timestamp and the video. To double down you can also email behaviour. They do deal with these issues, they just don't tell most of the player base unless they're hackers/cheaters. If…
