I rarely play him. Nemesis wastes too much time for the lack of lethality he has. I don't feel like giving each survivor extra sprint bursts in a meta where two generators are often done as the first hook happens.

Spirit's entire design is a symptom of a greater issue - poor map design and unbalanced survivor perks (similar to Nurse). Changing her doesn't fix the game or get it to a better place, but.. y'know, expecting the developers to realize this might be nigh-impossible.

Poor map design, quick gen speeds, and incredibly powerful second chance perks give survivors incentive to bully, play recklessly, and treat the killer like a joke.
