I'd like to think BHVR has moved on from nerfing perks purely because they are popular. But maybe I'm being too optimistic.
-
I think that it doesn't matter too much if it gets changed, but I wouldn't call the perk fine. You could keep it as a one hit down whilst giving it some other buff to make it more worth using. Giving it reduced scratch marks or something else could improve the perk, whilst keeping it's risk intact.
-
I've never really seen No Mither as a meme perk. Cage's perks are meme worthy. No Mither is just bad. There's no reason it should be completely off the table when considering improvements for perks.
-
Huntress seems to be loved by the people who play her and survivors too. I don't play Huntress but I enjoy playing against her. In some ways she feels too perfect for an overhaul.
-
I think the positives might outweigh the negatives. Solo queue needs all the help it can get, so it would likely be a net positive, even if dodging increased.
-
You should play some solo queue. There is nothing chill about trying to coordinate with your team when the game does everything it can to stop you from being able to do that, whilst also expecting you to work together to escape. Playing well, only for your teammates to screw everything up and get you killed repeatedly. You…
-
They could test it like they did with hiding prestige. But I agree there is the potential for it causing more dodging.
-
It's memeing to do it in chase, so I let them do it and then continue.
-
Here's hoping they can stretch it out a bit further.
-
I don't want DS to get nerfed. But I kind of want it to happen seeing as everyone is assuming the update is gonna be a buff. Imagine if they nerfed it further instead of buffing it lmao
-
Maybe I've just been lucky, but this is the most dodgy PvP game I've ever played. Almost every play session you encounter some sort of jank. I mean, I get it. The game was built on shaky foundations and they don't have the luxury of rebuilding it from scratch. It kind of reminds of Bethesda's Creation Engine. Instead of…

I'm afraid I don't know the answer. But I hope the banners aren't locked behind the outfits. Those things are really expensive.
-
If the long awaited Twins rework is amazing, I will wait patiently for Freddy's. If the Twins rework ends up like Skull Merchant then I'm going to start drinking again.
-
I think certain Hex's not lighting up until some condition has been met isn't a bad idea. They shouldn't get cleansed immediately because a survivor spawned near it.

#Xernoton4President2024 Anyone who can make me laugh that hard has my vote!

A friend of mine started playing for the first time about a week ago. I was not anticipating it going well but it's been really good. Other survivors have been helping protect the bubz and the killers have been very kind towards him. With the exception of Wraiths players. Every single one them has been awful. I died saving…

Here is a picture of one of my cats chilling in a tractor tyre. I hope this helps 🐱

It would be great if it didn't completely invalidate flashlights. But when I consider the kind of BS survivors squads can do with them, it feels like an acceptable sacrifice. If BHVR came up with fixes to limit a bully squads ability to grief killers, I would likely entertain changes to Lightborn.
-
So, he's a Jackapoo? I had suspected as much...
-
I wonder if BHVR could increase the sensitivity for console to even it out? I have no idea if that's possible as I'm not a scientist.
-
Mixed with so many others? Gabriel's not a dog 🤣
-
You are not wrong. Trying to keep this community happy must be insufferable. But after that crap they pulled with the player cards, my sympathy well has dried up for now.
-
I kind of wish BHVR would be more clear on what techs are bugs and what techs are just part of the killer's skill expression. People are still debating Blight's hug-tech now. I'm sure BHVR has had enough time to decide if it should stay or not. Some communication from them would help quell some of the constant debate over…
-
Lightborn isn't really a problem. Plus it's a great perk for when killers encounter bully squads. As long as the squads are still around, the perk should stay as it is.
-
Is this just to punish killers? As it doesn't sound like it would be that useful for survivors. If you really want to make them hurt, may I suggest some sort of shart mechanic? Now that would really make them suffer. The Crapper Trapper probably wouldn't care though.
-
It definitely happens on both sides. But if someone made a post complaining that locker save infinites got removed I'd also be like: They abused it, and now the authorities have come to take the kids.
-
There's nothing more masculine than punching a boulder.
-
Good on you for trying to be nice. I gave up after his 1000th thread about how BHVR only cares about survivors, and how killers are just playthings that are there to be abused for laughs. I've met people who have suffered horrifically in their lives, and even they don't come close to exhibiting the level of self-pity that…

Adrenaline is very strong. As it should be, seeing as it only activates once per match, and only if you survive to see the gates powered. This entire situation only occured as a result of a 4% chance. 1/25 isn't bad considering in the other 24/25 times everyone would just die. Killers already have a bunch of things they…
-
You describe 4% being a free escape. But what happens if you remove that? Oh yeah, it becomes a free kill. If survivors aren't allowed the ability to escape in end game, I have to ask, why should you get a free kill on someone you've only hooked once? It's unfair that survivors get a free escape, but you want a free kill…
-
3% for a perk that only activates when all the gens are powered? Meh.
-
I appreciate that you guys had a go at making him less frustrating to play against, but the experience is still very much the same. If he finds you in an area without tall cover, you're going down. The lack of counterplay that made him obnoxious to play against is still there. I don't think he should be able to stack haste…
-
This is not good. Hyping up the release, only to let us know after, that there's no content to be had until next year, unless we buy Chucky. BHVR had this info for months at least. Why did you guys refuse to tell us until after the feature had launched?
-
You know, if killers didn't camp the hook, there'd be no AFC or basekit endurance after getting unhooked. If they didn't tunnel there'd be no anti-tunneling perks. If they didn't rely on stalling the match out by kicking gens and refusing to chase anyone, regression perks would not have gotten nerfed. At some point people…
-
It's just a theory. We don't have any idea what they are doing with her, so maybe orbital strike will stay intact. Other than Iri Head, I don't know what they might want to change.
-
It would be nice if it didn't switch the obsession to a survivor who has just been exposed, downed and rescued from the hook.
-
I appreciate the sentiment considering how badly my matches went tonight lmao
-
So I got screwed over because of my pro gamer extreme skills? That makes me feel slightly better lmao
-
Players AFK when they get frustrated. Survivors haven't learned the matchup yet. This happens every time a new killer gets released. I'm not sure that it's some sinister plan to get Chucky nerfed.
-
I outran and hid from him the first two times I got exposed. The third time I went down, got hooked and the obsession changed. I got rescued and healed only for Chucky to get another hook and I became the obsession again and he exposed me. I just wish the obsession would swap between survivors instead of just afflicting…
-
I did have a brief conversation with Reinami(?) who thinks it might be related to the orbital strike tech. If that's the case I'd hope BHVR would simply make changes to limit it's use, rather than change Huntress. I did enjoy watching OhTofu going for orbital strikes though. Yeah, I'm not sure how you nerf it. Iri Head and…
-
Yup, some killer players can be extremely nasty when they feel like it. I think a lot of them are children. That's why they tend to just project their feelings onto everyone else. They accuse survivors of being toxic, when they are out there being as anti-social as they can be. When you critique their behaviour they just…
-
I just wish it would inflict itself on someone else. Getting exposed every time someone gets hooked is frustrating. The obsession should at least change so it doesn't hit the same survivor constantly until they are dead or the match is over. It's like Rancor but it lasts through the match.
-
When I saw Clown and Huntress I assumed they were going after the insta-down add-ons. Seeing as they are used to hook camp.
-
Why does it only expose one survivor? There's three other players, yet it's designed to only expose one player?
-
Is the perk meant to expose only one survivor for the entire match? Everytime Chucky hooked someone I was exposed. It happened four times and it exposed nobody else. Please tell me it's a bug and BHVR didn't build a perk specifically to help killers tunnel.
-
That's probably true. A killer that relies on spamming projectiles is unlikely to ever be popular.
-
The Trickster rework was meant to make him stronger and less frustrating to play against. They achieved the first part and then completely screwed up the second part. Imagine if he went to live servers with all the buffs intact. His playrate would skyrocket and we'd be stuck with one of the most obnoxious killers being…
-
I don't use the perk, so I'm not that well versed in the fine details, but I've heard people complain about how good it can be for tunneling/camping. Maybe that's the issue.
-
I don't know why nearby slugged survivors disable AFC. You can just slug someone who attempts a rescue and then just stand there as the person on hook dies and the slugged survivor bleeds out. I was being face camped by a Wraith (shocking), a teammate tried to save me, got slugged. The killler continues to camp me, but…
