A noble cause

Beautifully made Ted Talk, I’m already looking forward to the next one. Seriously though, I agree with everything you said. I’m honestly excited for the new builds that’ll probably come out for this (maybe not many honestly, but here’s hoping for it). Now that many toxic people won’t use Object Of Obsession, I’m hoping for…

If you can’t see that Decisive Strike needed the nerf, then you should play Killer at higher ranks. This clearly shows you don’t play Killer as much as Survivor, maybe not at all.
-
If you manage to deal with Decisive Strike users like that, then you should also know that Unbreakable is used alongside it, meaning even if you slug them, they’ll get right back up and leave or 99% the recovery so someone can come pick them up. If you watch Killers at higher rank like Otzdarva deal with Decisive Strike…
-
I believe the reason for that though is so you don’t do things in front of the Killer’s face like Generators, Totems, Healing, and Unhooking. It’s meant to be a anti-tunneling perk, and so it is one. If you are being tunneled, then by all means, use it, it’s what the perk is made for. If you’re not being tunneled and…
-
Why though? It still deals with tunneling, what it’s meant for. Why change it out for something else after the nerf exactly, you’re still gonna be able to stab the Killer if they tunnel you.
-
I mainly play Survivor, most times with friends, and I can tell you Decisive Strike needed the nerf because it basically was being used aggressively instead of against Killers who actually tunneled. Survivors who used it would literally do a Generator in front of a Killer's face because they know they can get away with it,…
-
A perk meant to counter tunneling is going to encourage it more. I... don't think that's how that works.
-
Okay, I'm sorry, but if a Killer sees you working on a Generator after just chasing and hooking someone else, are they supposed to just let you continue? No, especially since they're not tunneling at that point. It's a Killer's job to stop you from escaping, so why would they let you do a Generator in front of they're…
-
I can definitely see the concern in that.
-
Corrupt Intervention to save some time so you don't lose Generators too early and can get Survivors to come to you so you can stalk them, Monitor and Abuse to sneak up on people in Evil Within 2 and lowers your Terror Radius while in Evil Within 3 so you can catch them off guard a little, Save The Best For Last because…
-
Then the best you can do is try to loop them or hide from them.
-
That’s the thing though, the new Decisive Strike is meant to encourage Survivors to leave the area the Killer is in and if the Killer does chase them down, then congratulations, you were tunneled and you get to use it. But if you believe you are safe to heal or repair, then you’re not being tunneled. The perk is supposed…

Damn, lured him into a trap and finished him. Well played.
-
And don’t even get me started on the synergy with Unbreakable.
-
5 sec stun by from each Survivor, which could potentially be 20 seconds. At that point, as a Killer, you’ve lost the game most likely because each second count. And by abusable, I mean do a Generator in front of the Killer, playing aggressively towards the Killer, and just be obnoxious and cocky with it because, with the…
-
I’m sorry, but I’m gonna have to disagree with you on that. Decisive Strike will still be used after the nerf comes to the game and I believe it’ll still be relative to the meta. There’s just no doubt about it, it’s still very much a useful perk, just not one you can be cocky and abusable with.

Survivor: Botany Knowledge. Always loved being the healer of the group and while their are perks that heal faster than it, it’s a perk that isn’t as limited as the others like We’ll Make It, which you need to unhook a Survivor to activate. Killer: Save The Best For Last. Just amazing on many killers who don’t have a…

I see where you’re coming from and yes, it’s not fun to be camped or tunneled or to do either, but as the Developers said during the Q&A, it’s a strategy used to put pressure on Survivors. I wish tunneling and camping didn’t exist, but it happens. Decisive Strike was the answer to it, but it was too powerful, especially…
-
Jesus, you killed him outside of a match.
-
Didn’t even notice the indirect buff for stealth Killers, good idea there.
-
Being healed by a Survivor doesn’t deactivate Decisive Strike for you, you healing another Survivor does though. Your suggestion in your last paragraph seems like an interesting idea by the way, but I think the way it’s meant to be used now is so that you get far away from the Killer after using it and once you think…
-
Why can’t both sides of the game NOT be so divided and at each other’s throats? I can understand why he would think this way, but you would think he’d want the game to be healthy and balanced. Do many Survivors rely on using Decisive Strike aggressively that much?
-
You can’t be serious. You just can’t be. This Decisive Strike needed to be changed in this way so it can’t be abused, especially with the synergy of Unbreakable.
-
It only deactivates if you perform a healing action, not the other way around. Meaning if you use Self Care or a Med-Kit or heal another Survivor, it’s deactivated.
-
Wanting the game to be healthy and balanced for both sides is Killersided?
