Allow me to introduce you to Garden of misery. A.k.a by far the worst map ever introduced in any game that has ever existed.
-
Was completely on board until you bought up bare feet 🤢
-
Just imagine 2 skull merchants with 2 different 3 gens... 🥶
-
Demogorgon lifeguard whistle. You're welcome.
-
Trickster: make him less obnoxious to play. Recoil on knives is stupid and there's no reason for him to be as slow as Huntress until he pulls up a knife. Skull merchant: absolutely nothing. No fix, no rework, nothing. The only killer I don't own and never will. Freddy: make his power more effective. Maybe give him both…
-
I'd sooner see both boosted maps and map offerings get permanently removed. Imagine if some godawful hell hole like garden of misery gets boosted? 🤢 Lets face it BHVRs record with new maps has hardly been good in the last few years even if Nostromo is a significant improvement.
-
Her perks are pretty mediocre but more importantly she herself does not look like Ripley or sound like Ripley in the slightest so unless you're dead set on getting every survivor or all the achievements I wouldn't get her at all!
-
I have every faith that BHVR will completely and utterly screw this up so badly it makes Colonial marines look good. Unfortunately as Alien/Aliens are tied for my favourite movie and as a massive Alien nerd this might be enough to bring me back to DbD no matter how much I currently hate the game.
-
Don't know what they'll do but I'd put money on one of them being called perfect organism (assuming that isn't the name of the power) and one of the survivor perks being the only way to be sure.
-
FNAF and child's play more iconic than Alien 😂😂😂😂
-
I'd like to be excited but with BHVRs recent track record I expect A Ripley who looks nothing like Ripley and a Xenomorph so dull and weak that even Skull merchant looks good.
-
Even when ruin was good running it with corrupt intervention was just a good way to lose two perks right away. Now ruin is a really bad perk and the above is still true.
-
Skull Merchant's power is atrocious. Fixed that for you.
-
It's absolute garbage. It's a perk that will usually only give you about 10 seconds of value (assuming the 3 seconds distance are used optimally) and only under specific circumstances. Namely being tunneled.
-
She's truly horrible to play against. The reasons why should be blatantly obvious even without all the other posts in this thread explaining why so I'm not gonna bother elaborating. Her design is also horrible. It's a Kardasian with a weird mask. That's all. As for playing her? Her entire power does precisely nothing (bar…
-
Agreed its a user issue but if devs would stop including these types of achievement and instead include achievements that reward and promote teamwork and interesting mechanics instead of pointless grinding there would be no issue. I don't see how thinking a number that shows you're the best in the world at a game is more…
-
I know. I'm one of them (or was until they reworked it) but that doesn't automatically mean that the map is suddenly popular does it?
-
Nor exactly. See if you're playing a game that shows your skill based rank that's you saying "yeah I'M that good and you better be prepared for someone of my caliber". That's an accomplishment. In the case of something like DbDs visual ranks its more of a "I'm this experienced" doesn't prove you're good. Doesn't mean…
-
Step 1. Play a different game. Step 2. Repeat step 1 indefinitely
-
RPD gets offered up a lot because of that one achievement. No idea why people would willingly try to do that for a meaningless icon and a small increase to a worthless number but there it is.
-
I agree with all of this but I'd also add: Trappers add on that let's him walk through traps as basekit and change the add on so that traps are no longer disarmed when he does it. Stake out good skill checks do not apply the effects of perks that require great skill checks. The great check itself MUST be hit. Made for…
-
None whatsoever. There's literally nothing to make grinding any character past P3 to unlock their perks worthwhile and as for the two you chose? P0 level 1 is more grinding than skull merchant is worth.
-
Boyfriends memo adds 50%. +50% of 0.2 is still just barely over half the distance of literally every single other lunge on every other killer so even with it he still has no lunge.
-
Here's a better idea. Nerf it again even harder this time so that those who are still clinging to it like Bubba does his basement hooks are left with no alternative than to accept its finally a dead perk and that's how it should remain.
-
Not that you're wrong but that was nerfed in 8 months. Dead Hard lasted years and object of obsession which was one of the most broken perks they've ever came up with wasn't exactly fast tracked for changes.
-
Never watched much of Puppers but I know all about him and his ALS. This is awful news. I hope his final days are easy on him.
-
This just demonstrates that A. Corrupt should affect the gens closest to the survivors and not furthest from the killer and B. BNP should never have made it past concept.
-
I hate to break this to you but David being gay was literally nothing but virtue signalling. Even if they do bother to acknowledge it again it'll be the bare minimum.
-
Going back to old dead hard would be the final nail in the coffin for many people. The death of that brain dead bs perk is the best change BHVRs ever made!
-
Is sprint burst is actually giving you trouble and you're not just exaggerating... Fearmonger. That is all.
-
It was both overused and overpowered. The original version was way more overpowered than the 2022 version but that doesn't make either of them fun or interactive. There's nothing exiting about catching up with a survivor then having to wait several seconds to see if they have a get out of jail free card.
-
Everyone understands that. Do you not understand that for many of us that's exactly what we wanted to see last year! A proper nerf that pushes it firmly and decisively out of the meta never to return! If its usage hits 0% I'll be satisfied. Until then they can't nerf it enough for my liking.
-
No but it should have some use aside from just boon countering. Maybe the ability to turn a dull totem into a hex.
-
Of course it's mediocre. It's a bad perk just like about 80% of killer perks. But making it slightly less mediocre won't stop it being used for camping. Only a rework will do that.
-
Absolutely not. If anything they should nerf it even further and bury it completely. That perk has been way too good for way too long and if its even viable enough to see 1% usage that's 1% too much for my liking.
-
But it still wouldn't be used for that. It would still be first and foremost used for camping.
-
It doesn't need a secondary effect so much as a completely new primary effect. Any new effects it's given otherwise will just make it a camping perk with extra steps.
-
Reworking some of the awful maps would obviously be more of a balance change than qol but it would be a massive improvement to the quality of the game so it counts imo. Offering reworks should also be a priority. Map offerings should be either removed or prevent that realm instead of prioritise it and offerings that spawn…
-
I'd have agreed with you at one point. I'd even been known to say that habitually intentionally DCing should result in a permanent online ban for the players entire home network! Two things made me drastically reconsider. Firstly hackers. The single best way to deal with hackers is for every single other player to leave…
-
Good. Dead hard has been the definition of ez no skill meta perk since its inception and whatever criticisms I may have for BHVRs track record lately they've finally done what should have been done years ago and nuked it completely out of the meta.
-
Pre original rework dead hard alone was pushing me away from the game. Other things were also contributing but that was the primary one. After the first dead hard rework I was happy until it made its resurgence. Still it was tolerable in its new form but the maps which have for a long time been bad just got worse and…
-
I think you're getting your perks confused. Furtive chase doesn't do anything of the sort it just swaps your obsession and lowers your terror radius in chase. In other words it's absolutely useless.
-
I don't want the chapter and what little support I had remaining for BHVR died after the mess that was the Knight.
-
It was fair for Nurse. For Artist it was questionable as it essentially deleted her power when done successfully but as she had sniping ability it wasn't too unfair. For Wraith however? That was complete BS and should have been removed years ago.
-
Robbed. That's what you really get.
-
I agree with you but my only argument is that since the most common exhaustion perk people use is dead hard which is only useful when the killer knows exactly where you are anyway that would mean Iron will would almost always be active when needed for many players anyway.
-
Step 1. Don't buy her at all. Step 2. Play any other killer and do every single thing she can do far better than she can do it because unlike her they actually have something in their kit. Step 3 congratulations you are now (possibly) having fun.
-
Absolutely nothing about this chapter interests me. I already uninstalled and the pile of manure currently in PTB is only justifying that choice.
-
They should scrap the whole PTB and go back to the drawing board. The design is not great but not as bad as some are making out but everything else is garbage.
-
Blindness is already worthless. A swf has communication and isn't affected at all and a non swf can still hard counter it simply by paying attention. And if they're not paying attention enough to be able to work out where their teammates are hooked by the dirty great bubble that appears on the screen then they're probably…
