  • It's a really strong perk, arguably the best in the game, but I really like how strong it is, because it's entirely altruistic. There are some slightly dodge combos, e.g. using it while your DS timer is still active, that can leave the killer without a viable target to hit, but if anything changes, I don't think it should…
  • I'd agree if the totems were more consistently placed, but unless you KNOW you got all 5, by cleansing you're just making NOED more likely to spawn in the god-forsaken corner of the map that no-one went to the entire game. Unless you get a lot of info about the hexes in play that survivors don't usually (and maybe should)…
  • What's the advantage of conqueror to billy? Seems like Billy's charge does more with no cooldown right now
  • Had a strange desire to flesh out some ideas from a month or two ago, so here's an upgrade of a killer concept to a whole chapter. Do enjoy. Ideas behind Quiet Deterrent and Disciplinarian were to have the objective busywork of the killer be able to provide some utility with chases and info. Methodical is designed to be…
  • It would be nice to have some adjustment but honestly a lot of skills are transferable so maybe just a bias to existing rank rather than a seperate one
  • It's the Cloak and dagger of DbD. It's got a good niche if you play well but by design encourages passivity. I'd like a rebalance where doing gens or something heals you to 99 instead of having to be useless for the duration of a short film.
  • I love the idea of titanium slab. It's a real early game boost but would drop off in use after the first 2 or 3 downs. Same for Frightful Surprise. Oblivious is such an underutilised status effect as it would genuinely be quite scary to know you've just alerted the killer to where you are an that you won't see them coming
  • Architect is unfortunately weak for the time investment. Pallets are great because there's no time investment needed. Reduce the time to 16/14/12 and it would have some niche cases, but for the most part it seems like you'd be better off spending that time healing or working on gens. Sturdy wood could be useful, but…
  • NGL, I totally forgot that there was already a perk called diversion. Can you blame me.
  • Fair enough. The flat speed increase is underwhelming, but the speed differential between survivors and killers is arguably more relevant in chases. 0.6 -> 0.8 means that a survivor can only cover 3/4ths of the distance before the killer catches up, making lots of loops significantly less safe. This would be even stronger…
  • Cheers for the comment. 110% seems more reasonable on reflection - and definitely opens up routes for survivors to escape him with pallet stuns. Quiet deterrent's first effect might be worth reexamining - a standard terror radius is still fairly large. I'm now thinking the radius should be 24/20/16m, otherwise it is fairly…
