A long time ago, in the land before time Killer's could tell if survivor's were swfs because swfs would load in to the lobby at the same time. BHVR had a smart idea to remove this feature instead of asking why killer's are dodging.
-
My 3 biggest gripes about killer are 1. M1 Killers: These killers need to be updated because I feel that they excel when you create dead zones or when survivors make a mistake 2. Maps: I wanted to say Gen speeds, but I think map designs and sizes might be the main source of the problem. 3. The meta: I find it laughable how…

Only advice there is to give is to take a break and stop playing. I took a 2yr break, when I came back and tried playing again, the same frustrations and problems were still there. I only play maybe twice a month now, and I haven't purchased a DLC since Skull Merchant. Time is the only thing that will tell you weather to…
-
The game is much more balanced now than 2-3 years ago.., While I agree with this statement, I have to say that 2018 was dbd at it's peak (imo). Yes there was a lot of busted stuff such as, release MoM, instant DS skill check on the obsession without being hooked, OG Nurse and Spirit, OG Ruin, Killer's weren't tunneling and…
-
Past few months it's the most common perk I've seen survivor's run. When I ran some sort of blindness perk/add-on the survivor would run away from the next loop due to a lack of game sense.
-
Skill issue, if you can't loop without WoO
-
Meanwhile Infectious Fright is Dr. Carter's power with no cooldown after getting a down. Either I'm deaf or we're back to complaining just to complain.
-
So the community has a problem with UW.., But when I say Dr. Carter and Darkness Revealed have similar effects(sorta kinda) and are countered by the same perks/gameplay everybody is fine with that? The complaints about UW is starting to sound like complaining just to complain.
-
There's another way to get people to deviate from the meta. Something BHVR didn't think of or is too scared to do. The goal of the 6.0 update was to change the meta. Only reason why that update failed is because all BHVR did was give other perks a chance to shine with the same benefits. The best way to get rid of a meta is…
-
I find it funny how the community has still yet to notice Survivors cry for nerfs>> Said killer gets nerfed>> Community stops playing said killer>> Survivors start complaining about lack of killer variety
-
Nurse is from a different DBD era. She was released when survivor's weren't as strong they are now or in other words she was a head of the curve. Any further nerfs to her and you might as well delete her which BHVR isn't going to doing to do because of $$$
-
The perk is literally old school BT
-
Once you confirm a survivor is gonna spin the best thing to do is to stop moving and walk backwards a little bit. They'll either spin further in range, or they'll run into you like a brick wall.
-
The fact that you even responded to me, and said some of the same things I did tells me you read what I said and that we think a like. Thanks for the unnessesary ping though, glad we on the same page about the topic
-
"When there's one gen remaining, generators can no longer regress passively" Stopped reading at that sentence because That's technically nerfing and punishing killer for doing one of their objectives Maps are part of the issue, and I say this because of maps like Mother's Dwelling, Sufforcation Pit, Azarov's Resting Place…
-
CoH (boons in general): If BHVR had made boons work like Hex's, than Boons would have never been a problem Medkits and Healing: Idk who asked for this but I'm putting the blame on BHVR's poor choice of balance because of CoH (Even though medkits themselves weren't a problem) Second Chance perks: These had to go, because…
-
The issue is survivor's lacking a objective prior to gens. Right now survivor's are reliant on the killer for a secondary objective weather it's slugging, rescuing, or a hex totem. I also believe that other factors play into this such as maps and the fact that killer's have to depend on survivor's to make a mistake in a…
-
"Her add ons were gradually reworked to force players into actually using her power effectively." I will never understand why killers having to put in 80% brain power while survivors put in 20% is considered a justified changed especially when survivor's ask "What happened to such and such killler".
-
Former Rin Yamaoka main here, Everybody was too blind to see and understand that giving a indicator that she was using her power, butchered her kit. On top of that, with how frequent sounds break and perks that literally nullify all survivor sounds, why even play her? I still possess a lot of love for Rin Yamaoka, but from…
-
Your just going to have to get good at them since thats the only way. As for Great Skill Checks.., the best perk at helping you get good at that is no more. Ruin 1.0 (red skill checks), we used to troll each other in game for not hitting "Great Hex Skill Check"
-
Mindbreaker and Blood Echo exist. Keep in mind that Mindbreaker pauses any active exhaustion timer.
-
Up until 2 weeks ago I hadn't played for 2yrs. My only regret is breaking that streak because NOTHING HAS CHANGED ABOUT THE GAME
-
For any killer players, if you wanna make the snowball fights more fun and a little challenging. Clown with Invigoration add-ons/and bottles will test your aim and how good your movement is.
-
The only issue with the perk is it's duration I think pallet stun duration should be 2-3 seconds if a survivor blinds the killer with a flashlight than however long the killer is blinded (since this is affected by beamer add ons) should be how long the survivor are blinded
-
Genuinely don't understand the hate around STBFL.
-
Overcharge and Dragon's Grip exist for a reason
-
They're not going too! Frederick was reworked and with time (as usual) he got nerfed so many times that they preactically gutted him and called it a day. This is why I never look forward to or care about licensed chapters because.., The killer comes to live servers with tweaks that will eventually lead to them getting…
-
This is something I've been saying about maps like Sufforcation Pit and Azarov's Resting Place. Weather the killer intends to or not, some maps indirectly force killers to play the 3 gen because of map sizes. It's like being a Goalkeeper for both teams which isn't worth it.
-
II'm getting a mix of both
-
You sure you want that? Back when killer's could identify a swf in the lobby, swfs couldn't get any matches. You do a killer repeat prevention you'll be sitting lobby for a long time or not getting any lobbies.
-
Without slowdown or regression the match ends in 5 minutes and both perks have already been nerfed. As for tunneling, survivors are just gonna have to deal with it, because tunneling is a direct product of regression not being enough. 6.1.0 update didn't change the meta. The meta stayed the same for both sides, other perks…
-
It wasn't my intent but I made a lobby DC with a speed build on Singularity. Build: Add ons: Soma Family Photo (+5% haste wile Overclocked) Perks Play With Your Food: Up to 15% haste at max stacks Rapid Brutality: 5% Haste on successful attack STBFL: Do I need to explain why? Fourth perk of your choice Let's just say that…
-
As much as I hate indoor maps in this game, I still wish Ghostface came with the store map in his trailer.
-
Imo gen speeds aren't the problem. I think the problem now is survivor's lacking a objective prior to gens. Right now survivors rely on killer's for a secondary optoinal objective weather it's downed/hooked teammate or Hex's that pose a threat. Granted this is a core game issue but the only way imo they can address it,…
-
Thats really the 'only' compensation you could think of? Really? I apologize that I took the time to voice my idea's while 26hrs into a 48hr shift. I'll try to work on being more creative while not only sleep deprived but taking a mandatory ventallation break from the chemicals I work with.
-
I feel that EMPs should have a priority. To Elaberate Let's say your a Slip Streamed survivor, you pick up a EMP and you walk over to a Bipod and detonate the EMP. Instead of taking out both the Slip Stream and Bipod, it takes the Slip Stream off, and than you have to use another EMP to take the bipod offline. Only…
-
Imo, no! I only say that because all they really did was update the meta instead of gutting it entirely. Survivor: Second chance/Chase perks Killer: Regression/Slowdown perks I was slowly getting back into DBD, but than that dev stream happened and I'm considering going back to the bench
-
Last sentence in the post said "Granted a situation like this will never happen again with DS"
-
"I think Decisive should actively punish killer who wish to hook the survivor just after being unhooked, not punish a killer for winning a chase and letting someone slugged." So here's the issue with this. Survivors will go out of there way to harass/annoy a killer to force a DS even if the killer has no interest in…
-
You say you've been playing since 17' and you still don't get why it's a crutch and why bringing the 5s back is a bad idea? What makes it a crutch? Let's see Base kit BT that's synergizes with OTR (CHANCE 1) Weather OTR is used or not and you go down DS to get free (chance 2) Now that your free you can use DH to take…
-
You think Frederick is bad? Mikey is probably the most outdated killer in the game and my 6yrs playing this game the man has not received a very miniscule buffs/updates. His son was practically reworked twice(if we count his PTB failure) Pig is getting a update But Mikey is somehow just existing
-
Don't mean to quote OneRepublic but, '"Its too late to apologize" Now that I got that out. "But never question ourselves why?" All due respect that's not for any role to be asking, that's what BHVR should be asking before considering buffing/nerfing something based on word of mouth from the community.
-
Tunneling is The Nature of The Beast, there is no way to address tuneeling with the current state the game is in. Everytime BHVR tries to address tunneling it gets worse mainly because of core game issues such as gen times, map/killer/perk designs, unnessesary buffs/nerfs to perk etc. The slowest the gens ever were was…
-
Not trying to crush your hopes and dreams but Imma be real honest with you. 6.0 didn't change ######### (Capital letters). The meta might be healthier, but this is the same meta from when I started playing 6yrs ago and that's very disappointing. Trying my best not to project, but this just makes me glad I quit.
-
Imma be brutally honest with you! It's time to move on to a different game. Your literally explaining how I felt when I quit this game 2yrs ago. Only reason why I'm still around on the forums.., (If this gets me banned idc) I'm waiting for this game to die or to get better. Imo every update feels like BHVR takes a step…
-
Projecting is not a good way to start a discussion, especially when you project at others that are calling you out on the fact that your projecting.
-
I don't intended to be passive-aggresive, but a lot of your comments and responses seem to show that you play very little killer because you refuse to look through the killers scope. I don't wanna kick a dead horse because i've read 60% of the comments here, but I think you need to spend more time playing killer and get to…
-
Gen speeds are fine. Map designs and maps being RNG are the issue along with poor killer designs
-
Yes camping and slugging tactics suck, but that is the nature of the beast. Nerfs to killer tactics will only lead to scummier ones which will eventually get to a point to where it's not even worth playing killer. Like a Deer getting upset that it's predator is vegetarian because it's predator isn't allowed to kill.
-
Tunneling is part of the game, the devs have literally pushed killers to that point. I disagree with DS going back to 5s because Game State: The state that the game is currently in with BT basekit, God loops, **it map designs and RNG litertally being a factor. Granted these are core game issues if you bring back 5s DS now,…
