I like the doctors design, as it seems very original and unique.
-
Yeah, I also think he should be returned to the way he was, and maybe given a nerf, as he was too good in that state as well! I do not think he should be allowed to hook survivors, as Freddy in the movies is not able to do that either!
-
I actually really like this idea. Normally I dislike fan-made ideas because the killer abilities are not well thought out, but this seems like a good idea. The only thing that might need to be changed is that the insanity rank when looking at him should be lowered, as otherwise survivors have no way to counter him. Any…
-
Might need to be 50% then.
-
What are you talking about. Iridescent hatchets are so much fun to play against. They are perfectly balanced.
-
The Clown. Duh.
-
Killer wait times are about to get nuked into the ground.
-
I see the appeal of your bloodpoints thing, but do you mean they earn 25 percent less bloodpoints forever or does it just take 25% of their bloodpoints from the bank. If it was the second thing, I feel like it would be fine, but accidental disconnects happen a lot too.
-
That is actually a great idea. It would allow even more perk combinations and builds. The only problem is that people would rage that x perk was placed in x point value.
-
Although this is extremely well thought out, I do not understand how ghost form could be useful, especially in outdoor maps. Perhaps you could inform me?
-
I feel as if his main ability is a much weaker version of the hags or trapper. That could definitely need to be reworked. Also, his 0 % power perk is ridiculously overpowered. Other than that, I feel as if it is a decent idea. What if his ability was that he could go inside lockers, and then immediately teleport to any…
-
I agree, but I do not see how this problem could be fixed without completely wiping the community. Perhaps they could reward using different perks with extra shards or bloodpoints, and it was discouraged to run the same build too much by removing some of the players bloodpoints or shards.
-
Pennywise as a killer.
-
Yeah. I had no idea people liked playing as him this much. His only rival is Myers, and that killer is universally loved.
-
It would be cool if the killer was a able to peak around the corner and wave at survivors.
-
That would be nice too. Maybe he could make a potion that took longer to make by around 5 seconds, but a survivor in its gas field would be exposed for 10 seconds.
-
The Mind Flayer in Stranger Things uses rats as hosts so that it can interact with others outside of the upside down. Perhaps that the Entity is controlling the rats to serve an end to its means, and it was able to infect them through this vial full of entity juice. Just an idea.
-
Pennywise. Just never add him.
-
Nice. Do you know why tunneling is called tunneling though? Camping and slugging at least make sense.
-
That's true. In my opinion, I wish that his chemicals had a more dangerous effect on players, as they do not seem to be that effective.
-
Yeah. Hopefully more people will comment, in which case I will update the graph in a few days.
-
You have a great point, and apologies for not noticing this. I will change that immediately, and will look at the data more carefully next time. What information did you draw from the graph?
-
So you are saying that the lower voted killers are just less fun to play and has nothing to do with power? But yes, fair enough.
-
Nice! Or a squeaker.
-
Got it. That makes sense.
-
True. I have no idea why they thought it was ok for them to mislead their audience like that. We have been begging for a shapeshifting killer for so long, and they exploited that.
-
Michael and Doctor are the most played, while nurse, wraith, clown, Hillbilly, and plague are less played.
-
Graph has been posted! Thanks a lot for your help, I got much more people to respond than I expected. BTW, this graph was taken from the reply's only, the straw poll was its one separate little experiment.
-
I definitely see what you guys mean. However, I feel as if the more someone plays a killer the more enjoyability they get out of it, and this is at least a step in the right direction in my quest for data. Do you have any suggestions to make it more accurate.
-
They could fix this by adding another Exit Gate, but I don't feel as if that would be fair towards killers. How often would you say that this happens to you, or was it just a one time occasion.
-
Also, what would make it unique from other killers, other than its cosmetics?
-
A shotgun sounds kind of broken however, and does not really fit with the games theme. What about having his hands shapeshift into knives like in the terminator movies.
-
This is interesting. Apparently, barely any killers like the current plague, or at least do not enjoy playing her.
-
Thank you for the results everybody. You guys are great. We are about halfway there to have enough data to create a graph that reflects of the killer community
-
Not a bad Idea, but it it hard enough to get people to respond given the view to comment ratio, let alone getting them to click a link
-
The plagues was pretty good, as well as the Huntress
-
Leatherface is pretty good if you run insidious and camp outside the basement. I respect your opinion, but I feel as if he shouldn't be LAST place. Clown is much worse than him in my opinion
-
Personally, I am a trapper main.
-
No offense, but I do not love the idea of another licensed killer, especially Pennywise. You are entitled to your own opinion though.
-
I had a fun idea for a new killer in DBD that I thought was very unique at the time, and would like to hear what you guys think about it. This unlicensed killer would be called The Child, and she would be constantly giggling and babbling, which would replace her terror radius sound. This giggling and babbling could be…
-
I agree with most of the list, but Leatherface is actually incredibly good, especially if you run him with a basement build.
-
Got it. So the gameplay and characters are the same, but the progression in the game is different.
-
Actually, on the Development teams post about the mobile game, they said it would have the exact same killers and experience, they just ported the game to be used for a mobile interface. I agree with you that you will probably not be able to transfer data from other consoles into mobile.
-
I am not sure personally, but I think that you will most likely not be able to.
-
I am fine with you disagreeing, this is a discussion after all. I feel as if the time and money they spend on the mobile version will not be worth it for either the developers or the players. They could have spent that time making DBD have a cleaner user interface and smoothed out some bugs, which I personally believe…
-
Although I see what you mean, I just do not think it is the right direction for DBD. Also, mobile games make more money than console and PC games because they usually pump their apps full of disgusting amounts of ads and microtransactions. Not saying that DBD will do that, but that is the reason why they get so much…
-
I just feel as if the Mobile game is going to launch both rushed and buggy, and this will result in it dying in a month. I still feel as if the console and PC versions will continue as is, as it is made by a separate team like you said.
-
I believe that the fog has three purposes in the world of the Entity. Offer a way that the Entity can spy on the survivors without them knowing that they are being watched. 2. To disorientate survivors so they are unaware of what map they are being transported to, and what killer they are facing. 3. To transport survivors…
-
When you make four people the enemy of one, they will usually end up ganging up on that one. It is just human nature. I am not justifying what they did. This usually happens when players play as only a survivor or only a killer, as this causes them to resent the other side. That is why I believe that people will get the…
-
What does that even mean?
