idk if you only have the game on Epic, but the Steam version is currently working for me using Proton 8.0-2, without any changes to config or using the Heroic launcher. (I am currently on Debian 12)

This used to happen to me on my laptop when my GPU was overheating and used to thermal throttle. Check with MSI Afterburner your CPU /GPU temperatures while in-game. I had to open up the laptop and replace the thermal paste to control the overheating.
-
I would appreciate if someone has cracked the math and can help me with this.

You can pretty much automate the uploading process by using ShareX and following the instructions on their forum post. https://forum.nightlight.gg/docs?topic=137

I thought that I had come up with a solution using these three Rules : 1. When Stake Out has 0 tokens, there is NO benefit from Stake Out. You only get the benefit of Hyperfocus. 2. When Stake Out has atleast 1 Token AND you hit the Great Skill Check, you get double the benefit of Hyperfocus. 3. When Stake Out has atleast…

Do you mean to ask if we're only looking at matches where the MMR of killer and survivors are close to each other? I wouldn't think so, I think we are just looking at matches where the average MMR is within the Top 5% of all matches.
-
Thank you for confirming, that was what I assumed but I wasn't sure. If you do have a chance, could you also answer my question about hyperfocus math? I have tried various ways of figuring out the calculations, I keep coming close but never completely on point. Thanks again and have a good day! 🙂

Patch 6.2 only had about 110 games on record when I made the presentation, and some of these were Otz doing a perkless all killer challenge; hence a few losses caused the win rate to drop. Since then upto mid-September, it has gone back up to 73% and I think it will increase even more up to his average as I track more data…
-
I agree, tunneling "for the win" can increase your winrate, but is super boring to watch as it results in stomps more often than not.
-
Hey guys, I have added 2 more slides to the presentation (11 and 12). Hope you guys like it.
-
Thanks.

Devs have already stated that in order for the game to have a replay function, the game needs to be built from the ground up to support it. So it's unlikely and possibly quite difficult (not to mention expensive in terms of time and money) to implement a replay system. At this point, the devs have to go ahead with the…

I think these stats only prove that if you practice enough and become really good at the game, you can beat the majority of solo queue/ SWF teams. I don't think these stats should be considered for balancing arguments because it's just one person. If the majority of killers at high MMR are having this high a winrate, then…
-
It did, but this data only captured 112 games in the 6.2+ patch, so it might have gone up since then. I can post some updates on the patch win rates here in the future if it seems interesting.
-
Just to clarify, the figure stated in the summary is his average win rate (percent of games he gets a 3k/4k); his average kill rate over the same time period is 3.048/4 = 76.2%. As you said, devs have noted an average kill rate of 61% according to their stats, so Otz is sitting comfortably above the average. Now whether it…
-
Yeah, true. A lot of people are unhappy with the mori changes.
-
Yeah, I think it's because Otz usually plays chill during early game, so atleast a few gens are finished.
-
Thank you.
-
Thanks. :)
-
Interesting stats, I have only recently heard about Nightlight. Seems like it tracks stats well. And great build idea btw, esp Third Seal for Windows.
-
Sorry, I don't track the minor patches. But Otz uses Thanatophobia rarely (only approx 40 games total), so it'd be hard to attribute any win rate changes to the thanatophobia nerf.
-
And you're right, I also wish we had more detailed official stats, that would be really interesting to go through.
-
Yes, I did. 😅 Thanks for your kind words, I have already shared it with Otzdarva and in his discord as well.
-
Thanks. It's really interesting that your own stats correspond to Otz's stats, do you keep a record of your games? I would be interested to see your stats if you do.
-
Thanks for your kind words.
-
Thanks, glad you liked them.
-
For which statistic? I only tracked major patch numbers(6.1, 6.2 and so on), so I don't have the data for minor patches.
-
Thanks, I do constantly track the data.
-
Thanks.

Here are the results of the surveys. The surveys are still open if any of you guys have not voted yet.
-
Yeah, maybe I should have made a category for niche perks too but that would have too many options I think.
-
Yeah I guess I should've added healing slowdown as well. Good builds overall btw.
-
I like that, I sometimes play Ace with that build as well (minus the open handed cause I think that's overkill). Only Ace players run these memey builds I feel. :D Thanks for filling in the survey.
-
Thanks, will post the results soon, waiting for a few more responses on killer.
-
Thanks for taking the time.
-
Thanks, chase perks on killer?
-
Appreciated.
-
Thanks.
-
The killer survey is linked in my comment below the original post.
-
By the way, it's just 4 questions each. Each survey will take at most 2 minutes.
-
Thanks. Appreciate it.
-
Hello, I have made another survey for tracking everyone's favorite killer perks. If you play killer, I would appreciate you filling the survey. Thanks.
-
Can you explain the calculations behind the number of 19.125 seconds. By my own calculations and linearly scaling the regression from 100% at 0 to 400% at 30 seconds, I am getting a total of 18.75 seconds of survivor progress regressed (not including the base kick regression of 2.5%).
-
thanks for clarifying.
-
Are the altruistic healing modifiers for med-kits (25% for brown med-kit etc) applied separately or together with the double speed modifier for altruistic heals, that is, is the denominator for the calculations = (1 + 1) * (1 + 0.25) or just = ( 1 + 1.25).
-
Thank you, I didn't know such a page existed on the wiki. Also, because the modifier applies to her base movement speed(4.4), the net effect is 5% of her base movement speed(4.4) as I had listed in one of the options. I also have more questions about how several add-ons stack with each other, I will make another thread…
