I never use DS, but I feel bad for those that do. It seems like it will be useless after the change. Good job killers. You got what you have been crying for.............. again.......
-
If you are good enough, you shouldn't have to rely on slugging to begin with.
-
Someone mentioned the emblem system, which we all know, decides if you pip or not. Back in the day, it was like you could pip by getting x amount of bp. Even though I stay in red ranks as survivor, I have never liked it from the day it started. I was playing long before the emblem system, and liked it the way it was. The…
-
Exactly. Put players against other players of equal skill giving both sides a fair chance to win.
-
Agreed
-
Only claudette. I have every killer and survivor at lvl. 50 and loaded with perks. I don't prestige because it sucks starting over and repeating the bloodweb. A bloody cosmetic that i will rarely use isn't worth trouble.
-
Which unfortunately, use to happen more often than we'd like. I'm glad it doesn't now, because that sucked.
-
Tunneling, slugging, randoms not helping or killing themselves. Yeah, it's been " fun "..
-
Taking advantage of mori's. Finally, someone admits to what we all already knew. I for one really like the change. It was overdue, and I haven't seen a mori since. Survivors being able to actually play and not be dead in 2 minutes is nice..
-
It's not gen rushing people. It's a good, experienced team that knows what the hell they're doing. Like 2 on a gen when the killer comes. One takes the killer while the other finishes the gen. It's up to the killer to apply pressure, which isn't always easy and can be costly.
-
Randoms are unreliable, and most look out for themselves. I have two swf teams that I run with.
-
swf all the way.
-
Take out totems..... easy.... have a good team with a little know-how, and no problem..
-
Yup. And use Victor to tunnel off the hook. With the change to mori's, killers are gonna come up with some crazy strategies..
-
Mori change was needed, long awaited, and one of the best changes in 3+ years.
-
Dependent on mori's are we? No more doing matches in a quarter of the time. 8 hooks now instead of 4. I like it. Survivors can actually play a little before being killed. I didn't see a mori at all last night and It was nice. On a different note, i noticed when I was playing killer that my wait times were much longer than…

Agreed. Keys should be left alone though. Think about it. Keys are situational, and require some effort to be effective. Survive long enough to be the last survivor, or have the proper gen/survivor ratio. Also take into account of the killer closing the hatch and hopefully being able to reopen it without getting caught.
-
If this is true, IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME. Being hooked and mori'd early in a match and being unable to do anything sucked ass, and was miserable for that player. Now I'm sure killers will find a way around it. Hook, tunnel, hook, tunnel, mori will be next, or just face camp. Either way, while the killer is wasting time doing…
-
That's shady abuse of power.
-
Some survivors are just as try hard as some killers, and just want to get in and get out. I have had many matches where I gave every hint possible to let survivors know that I am not killing but just earning bp and they were like " nope ". Some even messaged afterwards saying " just play the f'ng game ". It's ok to relax…
-
I was a little irritated when they did that to the school. That was my go to when being chased, like the house in crotus penn. I guess killers didn't like not being able to catch survivors, so they cried enough and it was made easier for them.
-
There seems to be more breakable walls now from what i have noticed. That lessens the chance of getting away. ( god forbid that happens ). Soon all survivors will be able to do is run in a straight line.
-
That Is true. I prefer to work for my reward personally. It's more satisfying.
-
Keys are fine. Leave them alone. You actually have to do some work for them to be used and even then there's no guarantee that you'll stay alive to use it.
-
At 46 I remember garbage pail kids.
-
How much more power do you need before you are all happy. I mean, a basic killer can be hard to beat in the hands of an experienced player. Throw in abilities / powers, and damn. i.e. is the doctor. Just spam shock therapy and static blast, and he is very effective. Trapper even. Weak in the beginning, but with good trap…
-
Yeah. I hate it when i die, and the useless potato heads get away benefitting from my hard work.
-
Anything to make easy even easier. The more challenging it is, the less they like it.
-
I want to win just as much as anyone, but I refuse to play in a way that makes the match miserable. Here recently, I have been allowing survivors to do challenges and getting mine done at the same time. When I want to kill, I kill. When I don't, I don't.
-
I play like that quite often. Challenges, dailies, just messing around. I like for the survivors to enjoy the match, not be so miserable that they just want it over.
-
Well Said
-
They want you to leave, so they can move on to the next match.
-
I like the real world physics comment that someone stated earlier. That would be nice to have in the game. The killer must actually make contact.
-
as long as I'm having a fun and enjoyable match I don't give to shits about winning.
-
Don't let people's ignorance push you away. If you luv the game, and enjoy it , then be the better person. Brush it off and keep on playing.
-
My twin. Lol. I do that as well. Ps4 also.
-
They interfere with the game, because people get so focused on them that they forget about the match and get themselves killed trying to get them done which can screw their teammates.
-
So basically, you're ranting about survivors playing the game, and trying to survive. Killers do what they have to do to kill. Survivors do what they have to do to survive.
-
It's not what you use. It's how you use it. Perks, items, add ons, abilities, ect.
-
That's a dumb idea. Just hit them. How bad are you at playing killer to ask for that kind of ability.
-
Well said. Thing is, it's ok for killers to play that way, but if survivors run in and knock out gens, and leave the killer with nothing their world falls apart.
-
Not entirely true. Survivors like myself don't particularly like, or want to be chased unless we have to be. Gens, totems, chests, unhook, and heals I'll do all day long. Chases I try to avoid.
-
Very scummy, and miserable for the survivors. Do you think they want to spend the entire match crawling around on the ground. NO..... don't be an ass. Just hook them. Killers focus so much on " winning " that they'll play any kind of way to get it. Most players I know would just dc, and move on rather than have their fun…
-
If it's a good hard fought match where both sides gave their all with no toxicity or scummy tactics it's definitely a gg.
-
People from all walks of life play this game. Like someone said earlier. There's a human being on the other side, and we have no idea what that person could be battling. Color blindness, vertigo, ptsd, hearing problems just to name a few. A long time ago someone that I know was playing a match, and was told to go hang…
-
Solo sucks. There was a time when it wasn't to bad, because people actually knew what they were doing, and got stuff done, but now it's horrible.
-
PH shouldn't have a built in mori, and his ability shouldn't go through walls and rocks and such to hit you. Just like DS shouldn't be able to shoot through walls or his chain burning through solid objects. I know it's a video game. I just wish that there was more realistic mechanics.
-
Nope. Leave it the hell alone. Ok, after reading more. If you're playing stealthy, and being productive that's one thing, but if you're hiding, and doing nothing just to benefit from your teammates hard work, then you are on your own if you get caught.
-
Agreed.... Sadly, some killers try to end it before it even begins, and they get their fun from that. I can't stand it. It's no fun at all. I like your idea about a faster recovery speed. My wife had this idea, and I'm with her. After being slugged for x amount of time ( say 15 seconds ) you get up automatically. Anytime…
